Mattress Firm Schaumburg

I was very turned off by my experience. First, they make you lay in multiple beds to get your comfort color. While we were doing this, we lost the sales guy and had to find him again. I wish I hadn’t found him! He was slimy and actually begged us to not leave the store. We told him that we wanted a cheaper bed, and he kept bringing up the fact that cheap beds are not comfortable. *I found a cheap and comfortable bed at American Mattress* Finally, everytime we found something we liked, you needed to upgrade it. They try to give you a very cheap box spring that you need to upgrade for a normal box spring for an extra hundred dollars… I had better service and saw better beds in EVERY other store I went to.
*They also had a deal going that you would get a discount if you wrote a good review… so I’m willing to bet some of those are on here*

Mike the store manager was nice and patient with us as my wife and I took our time testing out different mattresses. He was also very nice and engaged our son in the process. Overall great experience, no pressure sales and friendly.

I came in looking for a new mattress and after searching multiple stores and mattresses, we decided to give Neil (store manager) our business. That was the worst mistake I could’ve made. Neil talked up the great customer support and service the the company had and had use schedule a date and time to deliver the mattress. When the time came for delivery, we called to make sure that everything was ok schedule as we had prepared for the new mattress by removing the old bed fully. Neil said he would call the warehouse and verify the mattress will be delivered. 4hrs later, Neil failed to call me back. I call Neil again and he informed me that they need to push the delivery, the reason… They didn’t have a truck to deliver the mattress! How is it that you know you have a delivery for 2 weeks and have now trucks!!! Neil was terrible with communicating anything to us and even had the nerve to say that we are more than welcome to cancel our order! Why wouldn’t you do everything in your power, as a manager to fix this issue?! Neil could not have cared less. I was until we told him we would be contacting corporate that he gave us a BS sob story about how this job supports his family and to please not contact corporate. Well, to bad! Neil was unprofessional, conniving, fake and treated the us like trash. We are great when buying, but after we asked questions and had issues he didn’t want anything to do with us. Well Neil, you did something right. You lost a customer (cancelled our order and went to Sleepy’s), angered us to the point that we continue to recommend people not even consider Mattress Firm when shopping and made Mattress Firm and yourself look very bad.

I had a good experience here. They were very helpful in helping me find the right mattress and the delivery people were very polite.

Our mattress shopping experience was awesome! Kevin made things easy and comfortable for us! Shopping for mattresses can be quite daunting but once he knew what we were looking for, it was quite easy to hone in on a mattress my husband and I were both quite happy with:)

Excellent customer service provided by Neil! I’m a repeat buyer I have all 3 rooms from mattress firm! Never had any problems! Neil really works with you! Always smiling! My parents had gone to American mattress across the street the guy didn’t even acknowledge them or explain anything! Neil really takes the time to understand what you need and helps you make a decision! Excellent would highly recommend this place as well as Neil!

Eric was fantastic! It was nice getting service from a Bay Area kid — kind of felt like «home.» Got great advice and service. Even better was next day delivery AND delivery men were EXCELLENT. They had a rollout rug and put on booties to protect my floor/​carpet. Furthermore, the two guys greeted me with respect and a big olé smile. So nice to see that, since I’m new out here!

My husband and I went here after a terrible experience at Sleepy’s. Our salesman, Eric, was so helpful at price matching the deal we had gotten at the other store. We scheduled delivery for the next night, and although there was a complication with that delivery, Eric and Neil made it right. We had our new mattress, frame and headboard shortly after. We love our new bed would recommend this location to anyone! Thank you!

This place had a really good selection of beds, out of which we picked a nice Stearns and Foster! Michael Donovan was a great sales rep and very knowledgeable! Overall, a great shopping experience!!!

My friend and I were found this mattress store while shopping in the area. Steve, the store manager, was amazing. He was personable and gave great customer service. He addressed my concerns and kept within my set budget. I was able to purchase a beautyrest full mattress during the sale. He was very helpful and I cannot imagine a better person to purchase a mattress from.

Just purchased my first mattress set in a looong time from here.
I found a great deal online on a Simmons they carried; I wanted to try it out in person first however. I came in here today, told Steve a description, he knew what I was talking about and showed me the model right away.
I showed him the online deal from a competitor, which was a pretty good Black Friday deal. It was a good portion lower than the listed price — free delivery, taxes included, box spring, bedframe — the whole 9 yards. I knew it would be a ‘tough’ deal for them to match but Steve matched it, and we set up a time for delivery Dec 1^st — my move-​in date.
I just paid for it today so it won’t be delivering yet, so no review on the bed itself, though it felt pretty good in the store. That’s the one thing above the online retailer — feeling the bed itself. Thanks Steve!

We stopped in here this past, Saturday… after first visiting Carson’s Furniture and having a very bad experience there! Corey helped us. he was super nice and did not try and up sell us on the most expensive mattress, which he could of, given we both loved it! He brought up certain beds, that were better for certain medical problems. He had no idea I suffered from two of them. I swear, as soon as we laid on the bed, we knew it was the one for us! It was a little bit more expensive, however; we see a bed as being an investment. He was able to give us a very good deal. close to $ 1000 off. Without that huge discount, there is no way we would have been able to afford this wonderful bed. The bed will be delivered today, we can hardly wait! Hopefully, no more waking up, to a very sore, stiff back. Corey was very well educated on each bed they carry. Things we never would think of, when picking a matress that would fit both my fiancé’s needs and mine.
One note, a lot of the newer beds have one side that is softer, the other side being a little harder– which is a perfect fit for us! He gave us all of the important info we need, regarding the warranty.

This place is perfect, one stop shopping for beds. Lee was the most helpful, honest, and fun bed guy I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I purchased a Simmons Beauty Rest NXG king sized sleep system. It was delivered immediately and set up by two polite, quick, cleanly individuals. I would send my mother to this place, its that good. My fiancé and I were looking at a few locations for the perfect bed for us. We were debating between two different brands and decided to go with the Rhapsody Temperpedic King mattress. Not only was the manager, Lee extremely knowledgeable, but he was laid back and pressure free. We spent a good hour at the store talking with him before we decided to make our big purchase. He had the item shipped to us the very next day at the exact time he promised. He even threw in a free pillow for us!

I had an excellent buying experience at this Back to Bed store in Schaumburg, IL. First of all, my new Simmons Next Generation Memory Foam Queen-​Sized Bed (Monarch Series) is incredible! It’s so comfortable and supportive. Lee, the manager, was friendly, helpful and very informative. He never put any sales pressure on me and also gave me a great price. Delivery was fast and there were no problems. I went to several other bed stores and met many less-​than-​professional salespeople. After lots of research and trying out many beds over two weeks, Simmons and this Back to Bed store were easily the best. I highly recommend you buy your bed here from Lee.
