Brought in some stuff for my girlfriend, including my girlfriend’s red skirt that she loves. There was a little stain on it. The cleaners notified me that both the color of the fabric and the type of fabric were such that it was easy to mess up if they took too aggressive an approach, but that they’d do their best to remove the stain without damaging the skirt.
Anyway, I picked it up and it looked great. The stain was gone, and my girlfriend was thrilled.
They definitely know what they’re doing.

I am very disappointed with Embassy Cleaners. Although they do a decent job on dry cleaning, their laundry service for men’s shirts has become quite shoddy. We are sending back more and more shirts for rewashing — especially the collars. More importantly, they are terribly disorganized and have sent us home with other people’s clothing and they’ve lost our items as well. Despite a computerized system, they cannot keep track of what comes in and what goes out, and seem never to know for sure if we have items outstanding. I’ve used them for a while now, but I am switching. Such a shame. They used to be great.
