Best pancakes on earth! Love the bacon egg and cheese sandwich as well. I’ve went to other locations around the country and they are not all the same and do not have the same menu items which I find crazy. The only dislike I had was they only offered military discounts to you one day a week and you had to be in uniform. Being near a military base I expect more from local restaurants to support your military families.

If you are a fan of The Original Pancake house like us, be forewarned that this location sorely lacks the consistency we’ve experienced at other locations. Ambience: Mix between a McDonalds and a cheap diner. Certainly not the ambience were used to in the Midwest locations! Service: Poor. Our food arrived cold and we had not been provided with silverware. Our server said he’d be «right back» with silverware and coffee. 15 minutes later he arrived with coffee and we had to ask again for silverware. He wasn’t slammed; restaurant section was at 50% capacity and he was not double sat. He did take $ 1 off for our cold food, but that didn’t quite salvage our experience. Food Quality: Mediocre. Food was cold and my omelette not near the same quality as in MI. Lingonberry side I ordered was not fresh berries, but rather jam. I’d prefer my berries without a cup of sugar in them! We frequent Original Pancake house locations often and consider them a treat. This location sadly left much to be desired… in virtually every way. Sadly, I cannot recommend. But, if you do choose to give it a try, at least do so with your eyes wide open!

You come in and seat yourself. This was my breakfast Birthday treat so I decided to try something different. i ordered the Dutch Pancake. I liked adding my own powered sugar, butter and fresh lemon. However, I didn’t like the taste of the pancake. The egg taste was over powering. Maybe that is classic for this type of pancake. My Husband smiled and said stick with what you know. My Husband thoroughly enjoyed his eggs, bacon and toast. The coffee was okay but not Hot, room temperature.

I had a very rude waitress, never introduced herself or smiled at all. The food, however, was nice.

Loved this little place. Large portions of great food for a very low price. Cute, clean, and fast service.

This is your typical little diner, and if you like good food with good prices, then this is the place. Waitstaff is super friendly. They have your average diner fare… Eggs, waffles, pancakes, bacon, hamburgers, french fries, etc.

Great service! Lots of food. Good prices. Food was awesome. I had an omelette and it was delicious. My kids had an assortment of excellent food. The wife had the chicken fried steak and it was amazing as well. One note though they are now called The Diner and not the Pancake Palace.

The place has some of the most amazing tasting omelettes and pancakes you would ever want to eat. I almost can’t wait to come back just to come back to this location… The staff was friendly and professional… And the food was amazing and well priced… Since I’m a big guy very few and far between do I feel like I’m getting what I pay for… But these guys definitely took care of me.

Try the pork chops with eggs and pancakes and grits. Sure cure for a hangover or just«having a bad day» in general. The staff is always cheery and efficient. I love this place

It’s a Savannah institution, what more can you say? Housed in a silver and red bullet of a building straight out of the 50s, it’s open 24/7, there’s a big counter and vinyl booths, the waitstaff is no-nonsense and watery coffee flows like a river. It’s exactly what you would imagine when someone says the words«greasy spoon» — there is one in every town and this is Savannah’s. As for food, cheap’s the word. My pancakes were perfectly serviceable and served with plenty of fake butter in little plastic cups with peel off lids and a bottle of dark brown corn syrup with maple flavoring. Tasted pretty good with a greasy as hell, grill charred pork sausage link. Again, not a four star experience, but exactly the experience you expect from a place like this. Worth going to at least once.

THE24-hour diner to go to in Savannah. Their food is pretty good, nothing to write home about though. But when the sun goes down and the creatures of the night come out, you get every walk of life coming in. The staff is great and puts up with with a lot of nonsense. In fact, I’ve seen the fry cook act as a bouncer on a few occasions. My favorite occurrence was when a guy confessed to the girls at our table that he was, in fact«a submissive man» and then proceeded to offer to test a guys food for poison. Also, one of the only places I know of that still has original Mr. Pibb on their soda fountain, so that adds another point in my book. Until recently, they were cash only, which was the only reason I’d ever go to Denny’s. But now that they take cards, it’s Pankake Palace 4 lyfe!
