I’d have posted pictures but we attacked out plates too quickly. While they forgot a couple of things such as a side of fruit and chocolate on the kid’s pancakes everything tasted amazing. Pancakes, waffles, eggs bacon were great. The sausage gravy tasted like it has Italian sausage in it, which was awesome. We were pleased and surprised they only had 3.5 stars.

I’m from Brooklyn, this place is the closest to an old Greek diner in the south. The coffee is great, the burgers are fresh, it’s a grease joint and great food, friendly staff. The pies are ok but get something from the grill. and it’s open 24⁄7

Small but interesting place. It gets very crowded on the weekends for breakfast. All of our news were delicious and served quickly. Even though we had to wait for a table it wasn’t too long. I highly recommend the country fried steak and hash browns.

Simple diner food with a nice staff. Nothing much of a stand-out here… all burgers are well done. Eggs were fried well done, though they were asked for as over-medium. Coffee was bland — but I’ve come to expect bland coffee in Georgia.

We have been wanting to try this the last several trips to Savannah and finally today were able to stop. It’s adorable inside. Very retro. Reminds me of a coffee shop I went to with my mom when I was about 5 yrs old(over 40 years ago). You could tell it was owner operated and there was a lot of bustle going on. Our waitress was new(her first day) and was being trained so I’m sure with a seasoned server the service would actually have been better, but she was nice, so we cut a lot of slack. We each had a salad. Both were very large and came with what appeared to be home made dressing. 8 opted for a scoop of chicken salad on mine and the chicken salad was very good. We were too full for a dessert, but honestly never saw if they offered dessert. The owner was cashiering as we left and spoke to my husband while I was in the restroom. She reminded us that they are open 24 hrs and that THEY have the best breakfast in town– so we will try that another time. Definitely worth it. Prices very reasonable.

The English Muffin was a rock. My 13 yr old ordered pancakes with strawberry topping that she did not like. She loves pancakes so that was disappointing and a waste of money and an entire meal.

I’ve only been for breakfast and it has always been good. That being said they only have 2 tables big enough for a party of five or more. every weekend I come in its packed and they have at least one of those table filled with just 2 people. ??? Let 2 people wait 5 minutes for another table and save those for the bigger groups at 11 o clock! they sat six people before us when we were there first and tried to stuff the five of us in a tiny little booth. I’m over 6′ 8 tall ! Also, so many groups of 2 who came in 10 min after us got their food way before us and actually finished and left before we got our food. if you are in a group of 4 or more they will make you wait and wait. just watch how many who come in after you, and order after you, get their food right away

Gross. The omlets were incredibly Greasy. It was a vegetable omlet but it had cheese in it. The grits were tasteless .my dad got a vegetarian wrap. the lettuce was all droopy and brown. They forgot to put the Sauce on it as well. Being from jersey which is probably the king of all states for the best diners around. this place didn’t live up to my standards. Probably the worst diner food I have ever had.

This place was great!!! I had a waffle with fresh blueberries, bacon, and an iced tea. My daughter had the 2 egg special with pancakes, bacon, and hash browns. The waffle was deeeelish!!! The bacon wasn’t all that great, but it was edible. My daughter snarfed down her food very quickly, so I will assume it was good! The owner was our waitress, and she was as sweet as can be! When I go to Savannah, I will definitely eat there again!

The Diner on Abercorn is somewhere we have repeatedly gone in the past two years that we have lived here. It’s run by a Greek couple, so like a typical North Eastern diner you will find Greek foods here. The food is cheap, the owners are nice, and it’s one of a few places that you can get something to eat late at night or early in the morning. There seems to be a high turnover of wait staff, so your experience will always be different. Sometimes the server is anew and won’t be as experienced, but it does not take away from the restaurant. They have adorable and delicious desserts that you have to try!

This diner is located near the Quality Inn Motel on Abercorn, this was where my friend and I were staying on our trip. With the many culinary selections that Savannah has to offer, there is nothing regarding this diner that is remarkable. I would stand to offer that this is a favorite amongst locals and teenagers, as it was quite busy when we went one late evening on our way back from Charleston we ventured in, looking for dessert, my friend ordered a large piece of Chocolate cake and I opted for an Ice Cream Sundae. This diner does not offer Hot Fudge, they only have Hershey syrup and the vanilla ice cream seemed to have been sitting for awhile as it had ice on it. My friend enjoyed her cake, but was taken aback at what they charged for it. The service was good, very friendly and spoke to you as if you were an old friend. All in all when I come back to Georgia this would not be a place I would return too, as the food did not leave a lasting impression, though I did appreciate the Southern hospitality so I’m giving it 3 stars.

A good diner. I think the food was a bit above diner-esk type places(Denny’s, IHOP, etc) Our waitress was nice and attentuve even though the place was packed from when we got there and had a line to get in when we left. I kind of felt jipped because I am pretty sure the owner(s) were there and I didn’t get to see the shenanigans described in other low star reviews. I just saw business owners over seeing a well run restaurant. I could see a bit of cray in the lady owner but sometimes I think you need to have a hint of crazy to be successful in bussiness. Both owners were working as welk as over seeing the place. We would totes dine there again.

The costumer service here was amazing. I would recommend coming here to anyone and everyone in the area. Especially if you need dinner really late after traveling. The restaurant itself was very clean, renovated, and well maintained. The food was hot, fresh, and fast. The presentation far exceeded my expectations.

I came in here very early on a Saturday for breakfast and thought this diner was just fine as a place to go for a basic meal when you want something quick and nothing fancy. It’s open 24 hours, which is a big plus. At 5:00AM I was surprised there was already a fairly decent number of patrons. It seemed like it was something of a local hangout. They have a counter where you can sit and a number of booths. The kitchen is right behind the counter, so you can watch them cook your breakfast. I noted they were using real eggs and not scrambled egg mix. I had scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage and a biscuit. The eggs and hash browns were fine. The sausage patty was a little too greasy for my tastes, and was a thin type of patty, not a link. The biscuit was a little dry. Service was real quick and friendly. This diner is simile in concept to Waffle House(which happens to have a location almost right across the street), but I would recommend this place over Waffle House. The food and serve quality might be a notch higher here, and I like supporting small local businesses. The building and design is also real cute.
