Local spot that seats maybe 30… food takes a while so definitely be ready to sit a while. Had the seafood omelet with plenty of crab and shrimp throughout. French toast was full of flavor and the 3 meat omelet did not disappoint. Great start to my trip in Savannah

One of the true breakfasts spots that gets it right every time. The food is amazing. You will not be disappointed. My wife had the smothered shrimp I had the seafood omelet. It was all the rave. Definitely will be a regular here. When your visiting Savannah make sure you come here. Just get there early cause people come from miles around for this place.

I recently made my second visit here on my trip home from Ohio. It was so wonderful the first time, we structured the return trip so as the be in Savannah at breakfast time. I had the crab and egg biscuit, and my son had the seafood omelet. Both were over-the-top yummy, and we got out of there, with tip, at well under thirty dollars. The staff were smiling and welcoming, greeting us like family members, and the homey atmosphere encouraged conversation with neighboring tables. I just don’t see how breakfast could be any better.

Best biscuits and gravy ever. Stopped in on our way into town for the weekend. Tiny place packed with people getting to-go orders and a few tables. Very well run though. Would definitely go back the next time we are in the area.

By far the best breakfast in the Savannah area! The first time I got the smothered shrimp, it comes with 2 eggs, grits and a choice of toast or biscuit. needless to say it was friggen amazing. It was so good that we came back 2 days later before we were leaving for the airport! The second time I got the shrimp stew which was beyond words. I wish I could give this place more stars because they deserve it!

After seeing the reviews and visiting different restaurants in Savannah, I was very unimpressed. My family jokes I’m a food snob and my cousins took me to these little cute coffee shops and cute restaurants trying to WOW me but nothing did. Then I Unilocal a breakfast/brunch place and suggest this place. LOOOOVE!!! This is what I wanted, southern, homemade, delicious food. It’s a cute small place and you can tell everyone cares and they work together. Not sure if it’s family owned, but it feels like a family-like vibe. The smothered shrimp and grits were perfect and came out HOT. The French toast was seriously the most delicious, no syrup needed. I wish they gave the option to add some fruit or pecans, that would’ve been my only suggestion. But I think it adds to the homemade appeal and I wish I had more days in Savannah to try other items.

Seafood omelette(shrimp, lump crab) was THEBEST!!! Biscuit and grits were great, too. Sweet tea was just right. Took a while to get the check, but everything else was wonderful! Highly recommend this place!

We found this place on Unilocal and decided to give it a shot for breakfast. There were five of us so we had to squeeze into a booth. The restaurant is small, probably better suited for parties of 4 or less, but I’m glad we soldiered on to experience a great breakfast. I had an omelet, the wife had shrimp and grits and the kids had pancakes. All I can say is that I don’t think you can go wrong with anything you order but I would most definitely recommend that you get at least three things with your meal: Grits, Gravy and a Biscuit. Those three items were outstanding, and my stomach’s growling just thinking about it right now. The staff and servers were all friendly. It’s worth your time whether you live in Savannah or just visiting.

I wish I could give this place more stars. The amount of southern hospitality in this place is incredible and with the food combined, out of this world! We had the shrimp omelette with cheese grits.(amazing) the biscuits and gravy.(a twist on a classic meal that was delicious) and the French toast.(I made sure to let the manager know it was the best French toast I’ve ever had.) I honestly didn’t want to stop eating. I was stuffed but I just wanted to keep trying more food because it was that good! It’s a small little place, located in an iffy area of savannah but I’m telling you now that you won’t regret going! To top of the trip, the manager made an announcement while we were at the store that they would be giving free breakfast on thanksgiving morning to any family that shows up. He even went out of his way to say that included any race, color or ethnicity and there would be no discriminating. In a time like this, I felt incredibly welcome and a part of their family! Don’t miss out!

Service was quick and to the point. The crab stew is a must. Came around 9:30 on a Friday and had no problem with being seated and getting my food fairly quickly. The sausage gravy & biscuits were a good twist on a classic.

Holy Mother of Crab Stew this place is amazing! Narobias is not very big; it seats about 30 people I would say. You walk in to the clanking of pots and pans, the buzz of conversation, and the magical aroma of freshly made southern biscuits. Sit down, close your eyes, and order the crab stew with grits. Don’t even look at the menu as it may tempt you to order something else. DON’T DOIT! The crab stew is absolutely divine! Great seafood flavor, chunks of sweet sweet crab meat and a couple bonus shrimp, grits, 2 eggs(any style), and the fluffiest biscuit you will ever eat. The folks that work here are super friendly and accommodating. You really get that Southern Hospitality. We showed up with a party of 8 and several people got up and moved so we could all sit together. Everyone was really sweet and welcoming. This is the kind of place that will go on my must-visit list whenever I am back in Savannah. Show up hungry, leave full and smiling.

Food was amazing and inexpensive! I had the seafood Omelette and side of pancakes. The pancakes remind me of my mom’s on Saturday morning. Seafood omelette was seasoned well. The hubby ordered the smothered shrimp and grits which he said was the best he’s had. Will definitely come back

Narobia’s Grits and Gravy was relocated due to renovations but do not let that deter you as it took 2 trips to Savannah to find this gem. I believe that as of late September 2015, they have returned to their original location on 2019 Habersham St. We arrived for a late breakfast or early lunch and were promptly seated. After reviewing the surprisingly varied menu, we opted for a triple play on the crab biscuit, salmon biscuit and turkey bacon biscuits which were very good. We also had the Seafood Omlet which was well prepared and promptly delivered. Our waitress was attentive and made suggestions from the menu which proved yummy. Recommended if you something more with a southern twist beyond a standard breakfast. We will be returning the next visit to Savannah.

Well, FIRSTOFF, the address they have posted is closed for repairs. There was a sign to get us to the temporary location(4395 Ogeechee Rd) and thankfully I was hungry enough to keep looking cause the food was PHENOMENAL! There was no wait(went in at 1pm) and the customer service was impeccable. No complaints at all! The quality of the food and service gets no better! #LocalBusiness #BlackOwned

I must say I will travel for food and I only need to hear the words crab omelet once and I am there! I made a special trip here before heading to Hilton Head and I enjoyed sitting on the bar stools watching the cook prepare the food and everything looked so good but I was disappointed with the crab omelet as the crab quality was not good, like it was canned or something, I dunno… perhaps it was an off day, but all I know is that I’ve had better crab in Charleston. I do plan to give them another try on my next trip to Hilton Head but for now it’s 3 stars…

This place has moved to: 4395 Ogeechee Road, due to renovations. I’m having a hard time understanding why it’s got 4 ½ stars. Maybe the old location had something different? Anyways to start off, the service sucks. Everyone is just hanging out, meanwhile we waited 30 minutes for our food. The waitress had a horrible attitude. There was two couples and instead of giving us two checks, we got four. The food is okay. Nothing out of this world. If you’re in Savannah, don’t bother. Go to Henry’s instead.

A delicious breakfast made up of Shrimp and Grits + Biscuits and Gravy solidified Narobia’s Grits & Gravy as a top breakfast spot while in Savannah, GA. A simple diner, this local establishment caters to residents and tourists alike, unlike many of the restaurants in Savannah that we visited that clearly catered to the tourist trade.

If only there was a 10 star option! Words cannot describe how good this food is! We ended up going back on the second day of our trip. When two people can eat, and leave full for $ 16.00 its all uphill from there! The staff is very friendly, the service is great, a tad slow, but well well worth the wait!!!

I was driving to Charlotte & I knew I would need somewhere to stop along the way to get some grub. Narobia’s came up on my radar & it looked like a good option to try out. I ordered the Sausage Gravy & Biscuits and a side of grits. Nothing was as it seemed. The sausage gravy which was brown(they did warn me) was bursting with flavor and had a fair amount of onions in it as well. Definitely different than what I’m used to, but oh so good. They didn’t have any ready when I ordered it, but the waiter was kind enough to get them to make me some. So glad he did! When they set the bowl of grits in front of me, I was a little concerned. I don’t enjoy soupy grits, and these looked like they were almost liquid. Boy was I wrong. These were some of the best grits I have had in a long time. Not fancied up with goat cheese or sauce. Just plain olé grits with a little bit of butter. Thick — yet not dry — enough I could eat them with a fork. I don’t know how Narobia did it, but she won me over with this bowl of grits. Grits & Gravy is definitely a local hangout in the area. I was very happy to be welcomed in and share a seat for a bit while I was passing through. I will most certainly keep them on my hit list whenever I’m in Savannah.
