If I could give less than 1 star for this place, I would. Horrible service, and that takes a lot for me to say that, and subpar food. My pancakes were literally swimming in sauce, bacon barely cooked even though I asked for it to be well done, eggs were not over medium as I asked and the hash browns were under cooked too! Such a disappointment. And the service… I don’t even want to go into it! So frustrated. Should have waited in line for Cracker Barrel…

Very friendly servers. But I ate there at 6 this morning and it’s now almost 8pm and my stomach still feels like it has rocks in it. I would not recommend eating here. My silverware was grimy(requested plastic after I saw it) and my food wasn’t made correctly. Maybe eat somewhere else and save your stomach.

Much better service than the last review I left here. Food was quick, hot, and tasty. The bill was a bit delayed in showing up but otherwise good experience this time.

Came in on a busy morning with a group of ten people, some visiting from out of the country and didn’t speak English very well. Jazmine was our server and she did great! She was quick and efficient and very polite and was very kind and patient with everyone ordering. She was great at getting us coffee refills and all the little things you’d like to experience being served. The food didn’t take long to come out and was yummy! I ordered something that I thought came with hash browns and when it didn’t she was quick to bring me some. Great experience after having some crappy time at the Applebee’s the night before. Ask for Jazmine!

Server was attentive however my food was not to order. My hash browns were undercooked. Omelette was over cooked and they forgot my Serrano pepper. When i asked for it I received a sliced raw pepper instead of the whole grilled pepper. I had better service in pooler.

Food was ok. Ordered the California scramble. The eggs were cold. Server seemed attentive but our order had several things wrong after specifications given. It took 3 trips for our food to arrive.

Service was ok food was horrible !!! 11 in our party, 3 separate checks. Last check ordered came out first and the rest of us waited another 15 mins for our food. Waitress suggested we order our eggs over medium to avoid runny whites but got runny whites anyways. Hash browns were burnt on the top and bottom and cold inside. Food tasted like the grill hadn’t been cleaned in days. Go to the Denny’s across the street as it was great!!!

Stopped on the way back home for breakfast. Ordered and asked for coffee only recieved half a pot. Food took awhile to come out and when it did it was disgusting. Just wanted the check and leave. Waitress brought the check, paid with my credit card left a cash tip. When I arrived home I noticed that they over charged my card by 20.00 dollars, called immediately and asked to speak to the manager was told that he was on lunch would have to call me back, about an hour later I recieved a call from the crew chief, he said that the charge could not be fixed on my card and that they would mail me a check. A week ago I recieved yet another call from the GM named Addy stating that the check was mailed, it’s been a week and still no check. Ps I took the food to give to my dogs and they didn’t want it either.

After seeing the bad reviews I felt obligated to post. Our server, Sherrie, was terrific! She checked on us with just the right frequency. Everything was very prompt. Maybe management is paying attention to the reviews here? The food was pretty decent. The French Toast wasn’t that hot when I finally got around to it but it was a little chilly inside. The pancakes and sausage were really good and my son enjoyed his omelet.

Recommended with caution. Service can be spotty at this place — ranging from horrible to excellent. And the same can be said for the quality of entrees. I’ve eaten here off and on over the past several years when I am in the Savannah area and am able to make this statement based on my experiences. Generally, if you visit during the early morning hours, breakfast CAN be pretty good. If you visit any other time, you run the risk of poor service, excuses(sorry, we don’t have that in stock right now) to horrible food. We visited a few days ago to take advantage of the holiday time offering of turkey dinner. It was very poor quality. The cook took small chunks of chopped up turkey(out of a can I presume) and heated them in a microwave. Broccoli was the substitute for green beans because they didn’t have the latter in stock. Mashed potatoes were not warm, and we had to ask the waitress three times to bring us gravy for them. When she did so, the gravy was clumped up(heated in a, you guessed it, microwave). Our waitress had trouble answering any questions and understanding our order. I realize these places are not able to hire the best and the brightest for obvious reasons. But our server truly had issues with very few neurons firing. If you’re traveling I-95 during the 2014 holiday season and want the IHOP turkey diner experience, try the one just off of exit 36 from I-95(Brunswick). As I recall, they served fresh turkey in slices(not chunks from a can) last year and seemed to have their act together.

TL;DR — Ask for Jeff… and only Jeff 5-stars: I went here for lunch with my wife on a random Friday afternoon and was greeted at the door by Jeff, the incredibly helpful/knowledgeable/professional/awesome server. From the time we walked in until the time we left, Jeff made sure everything was absolutely perfect. IHOP food is almost always«okay but not spectacular,» but Mr. Jeff really made the difference. Attaboy, Jeff! He got 33% of my check before the military discount. –1 Star: We loved it so much that we returned the following morning around 1000 with my little brother in tow. I understand that a Saturday morning rush is probably IHOP at its worst, but I still expected much more than what I got. After a very reasonable wait, we were shown to the booth we requested. We sat down and were immediately disappointed. The seats were dirty, and the table was decorated with crumbs and sticky rings where syrup or juice or milk had spilled. The server acted as if she’d already made all her money for the day, and barely acknowledged our existence. She brought weak coffee to the table, but I had to ask individually for creamer, sweetener, salt & pepper, and napkins. I ordered the T-Bone steak and eggs in an underhanded attempt to let her know that I’m not afraid to spend a few extra dollars. She either didn’t notice or didn’t care, because the service only got worse. I ordered my steak medium rare and my eggs over medium. Half of my steak was well done, and the other half was very very rare. My eggs were arrived at the table over easy. I got my server’s attention and told her, «I don’t want anything for free, nor do I want anyone to get into trouble, but please tell your grill cooks to be more careful with the steak.» 30 seconds later I had an overbearing manager at my table offering to cook me another steak. NOPE!!! I’d much rather eat an unpleasant meal than risk letting her bring ANYTHING else to the table. I really had a horrible experience, but I didn’t want my tip to be some sort of self-fulfilling prophecy. She got 20% of my check before military discount, and hopefully was nicer to every other table that day. 5 +(–1) = 4 4⁄2 = 2 2 stars

Danille was our waitress and did a really nice job. There was only one other table in the restaurant and they were only there for a few minutes. so I was unsure why it took as long as it took for our food. I figured it out quickly when I went to the dirty nasty restroom, they were all standing by the kitchen on their phones. As a business owner myself, I honestly think that cell phones should be banned from workplaces. I think they should have to keep them in their vehicles when they work. The restaurant was horribly horribly dirty. But instead of cleaning it they’re too busy on their phones. And that included the manager. Only person that I saw attempting to clean the place was our waitress Danielle. The worst part was when we left the restaurant. U.S. and our five kids and there’s two punks one who works at the restaurant standing outside the door smoking and swearing. When my husband had to run back into the restaurant to get a cup that my daughter forgot, there were more guys out there cussing and swearing. all but one worked there. But the one that didn’t work there really should not have been there visiting his friend. I’m not sure what is wrong with our country anymore. There is a lack of customer service except for one place and that’s Chick-fil-A. They seem to treat customers like they are kings and queens.

I’ve been here a few times and each time did not have a bad experience. Food was good customer service wasn’t bad. However, this was the game changer. A roach on our table. No I wasn’t looking for a free ticket. I very respectfully told the waitress so we can clear out check and leave. One of the managers came out with waitress after she told us and said nothing. Like what did you come out here for dude? Moral support. That being said restaurant has potential it just needs to do a quick sweep for bugs.

Breakfast for Dinner yesterday evening. Upon entering an employee was sitting chatting on his cell phone. After about 3 minutes he got up and told someone in the back«customers» She came out on her cell phone. I just immediately thought if I was in charge I would fire them both. I ordered the American Scramble. It came with hash browns. I also had rye toast. I thought the food was ok. As for the coffee the only thing I dislike more than coffee that taste bitter and this did is room temperature coffee. My husband said his crepes were extremely good. Some say on Unilocal you are only suppose to rate the food. However, at any business place the«Whole Experience» influences many things. Alas my husband would go back for the crepes. I will elect to go elsewhere for breakfast foods.

Me’sha was our server, very sweet and understanding for dealing with us at 3 in the morning May 31. What I didn’t like was that I ordered grits and the Me’sha came back to the table saying that the cook didn’t want to make no grits. I was very upset and I wanted to talk to a manager but it being so late at night I just wanted my food.

If there was a way I could give negative stars I would. My 5 year old wanted to go out for Sunday brunch. But ended up walking out after an hour and a half of waiting for our food. The managers explanation was that the waitress was too stupid to put the order in and didn’t bother to check on it for over an hour. They couldn’t pay me to go here again. Ruined my morning.

Unfortunately our dining experience was horrible at this IHOP. The service and food was overall terrible. We waited for over an hour to receive our food. We found out that our server took 30 minutes to put our order in. My husband’s T-bone steak was so tough due to reheating I assume. One manager came out and asked what could she do for us? Really when your service is this horrible you need to take one and saw the meal is on me! My husband ended up going off on the head manager and telling him we will not pay for our food. I am an IHOP fan but sadly disappointed.

* I hate reviewing chain places, but sometimes it is a necessary evil. This review will be short and to the point since this is a very common brand. I am just reviewing this location here so you know what to expect.* Staff is new so they are a little rusty but food is excellent. Same IHOP new location. I just hope is stays and clean and friendly here. Open 24⁄7 with a full menu.
