I will not go into to much detail about this place. The name speaks for itself. Everyone knows what Cracker Barrel is. I am merely telling about my experience at this particular one. I usually only go on Saturdays or Sundays, either way you should get there early. This is one is right off of the I-95 exit and get packed fairly quick. Not to mention the tourist buses showing up and causing even more of a jam inside this place. Serve time is fairly slow. party of four each time takes about 15 mins to get our drinks and about 45 mins to get our food. Décor– what can I say? i mean if you have seen one you have seen them all. food quality– for the past few times the food has been coming out at a low room temp to cold. :( I honestly think that this is a cracker barrel issue and not a waitress or cook issue. they are super busy and they probably just don’t have enough people working there.

I’m sorry but, this is the worst Cracker Barrel in all of America! Slow service Luke warm food Half done pancakes One raggedy scramble egg Freezing cold temperatures And a manager who ignores your presence at the cash register. Ok, the young lady who served us was very sweet! But, I’m still not ever going back!!!

I have eaten at a lot of Cracker Barrels and they are usually great, but this one had horrible service. We waited 10 minutes and left because no one ever came over to take our drink order. This will go on our list of places to avoid in the future. We went next door to Houlihan’s and had a great meal.

Came here tonight for dinner with my family. Our server was really nonchalant, almost to the point where it was rude. Maybe even a little bit mean. My mom and her husband did not get refills on their coffee until we asked another server that was walking by if he could give us refills. Then, after waiting a while for our food, another server came up and asked if we had eaten. Which we told him no, we are still waiting. Then, when our server came to drop off the food we were missing several things that came with our meals. Which she was happy to inform us that«they were running out of everything, the kitchen was overwhelmed, and everyone is slacking» … Um, what? Anyways… So she passed by the table several more times without bringing the rest of our food. So my sister asked her if it was ready when she said«no if it was ready I would bring it out» … So yeah, that was pretty much how it went. The food was good, our server was a joke. And just as a side note, I’m a server myself. So I know how it is to be frustrated with the kitchen. But, acting in a professional manner, I never complain to my tables about it. Nor would I be rude to my tables for asking about an item that’s included with their meals that they are paying for.

We are huge fans of Cracker Barrel but the experience we had at this one is worth warning everyone else about. When we were sat it was obvious that the table had been«lightly» wiped down. There were condiments, bottles, and food left over from the people before us. As we enjoyed our meal we watched tables around us empty and more guests be sat at dirty tables even after I notified the manager. Stay away.

I can only remember two times in my life where it felt like I literally had a hunk of metal tearing up my stomach: — That one time I ingested a toy car when I was three — One hour after I ate at this Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Never again Cracker Barrel. (two stars because the little store attached didn’t assault my digestive system and shoulnd’t be held responsible for it’s conjoined evil twin.

Typical Cracker Barrel chain restaurant, although there hardly isn’t ever a wait. Quick southern style food.

What more can you say about a chain restaurant that sees alot of customers and still manages to keep even the bathrooms clean? Well I visit this place often and keep returning time after time. Good food, good prices, and chicken and rice

Been going to Cracker Barrel restaurants for 30 years. This one is consistently the worst. Stopped two or three times now. Poor managment results in bad service from best I can tell. Last night I was there and some guy was complaining that the green beans tasted burnt. Instead of apologizing and turning guy out, the manager wanted to debate and challenge guy and passive-aggressively engage the obvious nut-job until the guy was pretty agitated. Meanwhile, I am standing in line just trying pay and leave for my meal(which BTW, order wrong, no drink refills when empty, and had to find waitress and beg to get ticket). Complainer got free meal. I learned not to go back. There is another location a few miles further down I-95. If you can hold out it is worth it!

I don’t have the chance to get out here as often as I would like. When I come out here I always get the Chicken and Dumplings, Hash Brown Casserole and Fried Apples. The Food normally arrives quickly and the service is decent for a chain restaurant.

Do yourself a favor. Push on. Proof again that they understaff, under-train, and Under manage. Cattle car mentality.

I love Cracker Barrel on the road. You just hope that the one you stop at has good service and fresh vittles! My dining experience tonight has been great. My waitress has the same name as myself. She is fast, nice and quick to please. My cornbread is hot and fresh. I’m having the lemon trout with dumplings, fried okra and turnip greens. Basic southern fair. Use a little pepper vinegar and extra lemon on my trout and greens and in a happy woman. I feel after filling my tummy I will need to get a hotel and sleep this dinner off before my drive back up to the GA mountains. I only hate I’m missing my moms homemade chili! Now that’s something to write a great review on. Nothing like my moms homemade anything! But for this Cracker Barrel tonight was a great dining experience overall. Thank you Stephanie for a much needed rest from the road and a great meal.

As a foreigner, the first thing one would expect when visiting the Savannah area is great Southern hospitality. Little did I know that service could be so terrible. There must have been at least 3 couples seated and served before the server came up to us and asked us if we would like some biscuits. 45 minutes of sitting with glasses of water in front of us and she has the audacity to ask us if we want biscuits? Nevertheless we sat around for around 15 for minutes when the server came back and told us it would be about 10 more minutes. At that point we just picked up and left. This has been one of the worst dining experiences ever, if it can even be considered one because we left with our stomachs completely empty. Never again will I visit another Cracker Barrel store.

Road trips wouldn’t be worth it if we didn’t have Cracker Barrel to get us through. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not superb quality. But it is dependable & consistent. And when you’re traveling on the interstate(at least through the south), consistency definitely outweighs trying to find something even with a trusty little app because more than half the time the five star places are nowhere near the interstate. On our trip home we stopped at this CB for lunch. I went with the Chicken & Dumplings. One secret my mom taught me years ago was to ask for grilled sourdough(instead of a biscuit or cornbread). It’s a little sweet and it’s absolutely delicious. Our server was excellent and even did what she could to turn down the air(it was really cold) for us. When you exit(at least going south) you want to make sure you turn at the light onto the service road. Otherwise, you have to go a couple miles down the road to get turned around. I don’t know the likelihood of hitting this CB again, but it’s definitely on my road trip radar.

As far as Cracker Barrel’s go, this one is top notch. The breakfast was great, as usual, but the service here was the best we’ve experienced at any Cracker Barrel. Even the cashier out front took the time during checkout to help us find an old school candy we were looking for and really made the experience fun. A great example of what a Cracker Barrel visit should be!

I’ve been to many cracker barrels all over the US and don’t remember ever my food being horrible. Service is questionable, but the food always comes out to a T. My mom and I are on vacation on our way to Jekyll Island and wanted breakfast. First Cracker Barrel located on I-95 towards Florida. As always, the hostess greets and seats us right away. The server was really courteous and got our drink order quickly. Coffee was freshly brewed. For breakfast I got the Sunrise Sampler $ 7.19 which you get two eggs cooked the way you want it, Grits, Sawmill Gravy and Homemade Buttermilk Biscuits along with real Butter and the best Preserves, Jam n’ Apple butter available. Served with your choice of Fried Apples or Hashbrown Casserole and Smoked Sausage Patties, Thick-Sliced Bacon, Turkey Sausage Patties or Bacon. My mom just got side items which were two sausages and biscuits. The food came out hot and made the way we wanted. Overall delicious! Server always checked up on us and made sure our drinks(water and coffee) were refilled. Restaurant and Bathrooms clean. This Cracker Barrel location was excellent.

I’ve had dinner at cracker barrel but perhaps it was disappointing because it was take out. The price did not seem as if it was worth it. What makes it worse, they did not even provide napkins or utensils. The turkey sandwich was a bit plain and literally placed In the container in pieces and we had to piece it together. The chicken and fresh vegetable salad was decent but I’m sure it would be better at the restaurant. I gave it another chance and went for breakfast. All of what I expected, with coffee and apple cider, and pancakes and meats!
