History

Established in 2012.

Tony Higgins, formerly of Sellers & Higgins Walking Tours, is a licensed Savannah walking tour guide. A history buff, Tony has studied the history of Savannah and relates the beginnings of Savannah from Oglethorpe’s landing on the shores of the Savannah River. He has spent several years talking to native Savannahnians to learn the real stories behind the stories of Savannah’s illustrious or infamous past. Telling stories, both naughty and nice, is Tony’s forte and makes for an interesting and highly entertaining two-​hour tour.

Tony was born in London, England and came to the U.S. many years ago. After a career in both engineering and sales, Tony decided it was time to do something creative and fun, combining his love of history, people and his adopted hometown of Savannah.
