Visiting Savannah with some friends. We had a miserable trip down, but Gregory the hotel manager was speedy at check in. The hotel was clean, rooms were spacious, and breakfast was good.

I am a Hilton honors member, have been for years and this place does not meet Hilton standards by far. Rooms were neat, but not fresh, if I want coffee I would prefer the coffee maker to be anywhere in the room except the bathroom:(I would not recommend this location.

My wife and I were driving home from Florida and decided to call it a night after a late start. Our check in was very slow only because the customer in front of us was on the phone and texting while she was asking questions to the front desk person. The front desk person was very patient and apologized to us because he sensed we were getting annoyed and about to walk out. He was right. The front desk person was very professional and helpful. The hotel is going through a remodeling period and there were signs posted to make you aware of it. They offer guests free cookies, coffee, tea, and other beverages in the lobby 24⁄7. On our way back from dinner, we decided to grab a cup of hot tea and cookies for the room. The hot water for the tea was almost room temperature. We had to nuke the water in our rooms. Our room was ok. It was clean and updated but old in other areas. For example, the bathroom. The shower was old but the sink and hardware was all new. The thermostat on the wall didn’t work so we had to use the wall unit manually. Due to time constraints, we didn’t stick around for the free breakfast in the a.m. overall, it was a bit disappointing.

I have stayed at so many hamptons location, i have been a member of HH as a diamond elite for the last 3 years. I had to say this location is far below standard. Dont take me wrong, hotel is clean, my room is clean. But customer service is bad. None… During check in, they should have greeted/acknowledge a diamond member when confirmed. But she forgot… Ok i let it slide… I had to ask for bottle water and toblerone… And to make it worst she doesnt even willing to give my stuffs. Until i ask her the 2nd time. Every time guess walking pass the check counter, they didnt even care to smile… Come on. Hotel is about customer service… Yet they are doing like this. Mind you, there are about a dozen hotel around the area. And hampton rate is very expensive compared to the rest. This place is not good. Need improvement in customer service to make customer feel at home. I dont think i will be staying at this particular location… Better stay in downtown Savannah which have the same rate.

This is an excellent place to stay right off of I-95. The staff greets you with their southern hospitality and the lobby and the rooms are very clean. The suites are really big and have lots of space for large families.

On a recent stay in the Savannah Ga area, I stayed at this Hampton location. Here is the thing, The Hampton chain is a higher priced hotel than many hotel chains. They have larger rooms, and are always clean. But, for me(at this location) its not something that is necessary. Sure I like a clean room ALWAYS, the location of this Hampton is what makes it not necessary. It is located very close to I-95 a major interstate that travels Florida. This exit could also be used to travel to Savannah which is I guess is a 20 or so minute drive clearly my point… Nearly every other chain Hotel at this exit which there are about 5 or more well, the price is half what the Hampton is or less than half! Now your thinking but, the rooms are«Better Quality» I would have to say check out my recent stay to the area you might be very surprised ! So what would bring you to this exit? Well, it could be a stop over while you continue to drive South(a one night stay) it could be that you are visiting The Beautiful City of Savannah remember it is 20 to 30 minutes there one way, or it could be business related very close to the Hotel or visiting family or friends that live close to the Hotel . So most of my points would be why stay here? If you came to see Savannah you could find a place much closer therefore saving driving time and you would pay the same. If it was a one night stay, there are plenty of «other» Hotels at this exit half the price that are clean and comfortable. I guess in some cases if it was business related then it would be on a company tab so it may not matter to you. Its your money your vacation time ! Also make sure that you join The Polar Bear Club before you get in the«Very nice indoor Pool» its freezing cold ! Seems to me that if I was a Company and paid the money to have a indoor pool built it would be heated!
