Savannah’s Best Kept Secret, it’s very own Chocolatier!

Adam Turoni is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America

Class of 2009 A.o.s.in baking and pastry. He moved to Savannah to establish his own chocolate business.

In 2010 he opened Chocolat by Adam Turoni in the Starland District and began selling wholesale only to local restaurants (Alligator Soul), The Paula Deen Retail Store, The Andaz Hotel, among others as well as supplying his creations to various event planners throughout the city.

On February 5th, 2011, Turoni was featured in an episode of «Paula’s Best Dishes — Always room for Chocolate» on Food Network, and on September 24, 2011 Chocolat by Adam Turoni wholesale shop was featured in the première of «Eat it and Like It!», a local TV show hosted by Jesse Blanco.

In October 2012, Chocolat by Adam Turoni opened it’s first retail shop to the public in the heart of the Historic District in downtown Savannah, GA.

Business Owner

Adam Turoni was born and raised in Scranton, PA. He is a graduate of the of The Culinary Institute of America in New York. Class of 2009 A.o.s.in baking and pastry. He interned at Chez Panisse in Berkeley, an experience that left him especially attuned to the use of local and organic ingredients, which he practices in the creation of his chocolate truffles.
