Brockington Hall is a 4,000 square foot multi-room venue in an 1882 mansion in Savannah’s Historic District. With 14′ ceiling, hardwood floors, a ballroom, and crystal chandeliers and sconces, and elevator access, the venue is located a block from Savannah’s famous Forsyth Park in a tree-shaded residential neighborhood on a brick-paved street. Owned by Lee Mundell and managed by a professional event management company.
History
Established in 2010.
This classic Italianate mansion was built in 1882 and was a private home until 1965 when a ballroom was added and its use as a event and wedding venue began. During that time, apartments were rented in the building by Burt Reynolds, Lauren Hutton, and Dinah Shore during the filming of the movie, «Gator.» The venue area returned to use as a private home in 1981 until the reopening as a venue in 2010.
