The very BEST tacos de pollo!!! Watch them make it right in front of you and take it home! They have the most AWESOME sauce and salsa bar, too. They got that GREEN STUFF!!! I LOVE Amigo’s and they are tastier and fresher than any other joint!

Excellent tacos. beef tongue was a treat. Nice salsa bar.
Also tried menudo. delicious but not for the faint of heart. The texture of the stomach can be a little hard to handle.

The best Mexican food this side of Texas. Everything is made to order so it takes a little time but it sure is worth it! The guacamole is spectacular. I watched the guy slice an avocado and get to work making it.
The tacos are the real star here. Carnitas, cane asada, chicken, etc… Just like off the trucks in Austin. The refried beans and rice weren’t just your garden variety disposable sides either.
This is a little grocery store so don’t expect great service. You have to serve yourself drinks and side salsas. But I didn’t come her for the service. I came here for the best tacos in town!
They serve menudo on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
