A 1 Taxi Service of Savannah

Called the day before to set up pickup for an early morning flight. Dispatcher said «sure no problem, we will call when we are on the way». Morning of flight, no call nor an answer when I called. Almost missed my flight. I do not recommend!

Joke! Can’t believe we called 3 times for a pick up. Each time they told us 15 minutes. Never showed up! We finally asked a neighbor for a ride.

The cab service was great! The cab had a VERY strong tropical air spray smell though. It was bit nauseating.

I called one other taxi service in the area who never returned my phone call. But A1 saved my day, came right on time, and were friendly. I used this taxi service throughout my 3 day stay in Savannah.

Oh dear. Oh dear oh dear oh dear. How are these guys even still in business? We ordered a cab for no later than 9.30pm, to give us plenty of time to arrive at our destination for 10pm. Now this was a tour, beginning at a point about 15 minutes drive away, and if we missed the 10pm start we would be liable to lose the whole cost of the tour — $ 60, all in all. So we thought, let’s get there for 9.45, give ourselves lots of time. Oh ho ho.
Come 9.45, the driver was still hopelessly lost trying to find us. My husband was even directing her over the phone, giving her very precise instructions, which she appeared to have trouble following. We eventually encountered her by walking in the direction we assumed she was driving in. Fortunately for us (and her!) the tour was a few minutes late starting, and we didn’t lose our money. One star for getting us there quickly once we were in actually in the car.
What a mess. :(

Unfortunately the dispatcher took 3 times to get my address right. She didn’t even ask for my name. Great customer interaction.
I called 12 hours ahead of time but standing there 10 min after my book time and needing to catch a plane I drove to the airport myself. I would not recommend this outfit. They appear quite disorganized and lack attention to detail.

I requested a van to carry 8 passenger 2 days ahead of the planned event. The woman said they could handle it. When they called to confirm 2 hours before pick-​up, they said they were sending 2 cars. I told them that that was not the agreement, and that I wanted a van. She said that she would send a 7 passenger van, and they could squeeze in. The driver had no idea where he was going. One of the passengers had to, pull up the GPS on her phone for him. All in all, a debacle.

April is reliable driver that I can count on! They have nice service. She picked me up around 12 from the airport. came earlier than she had to.

April came and picked us up and was very professional! Knew her way around town because she’s a local. The cab was a nice mini van — super clean and had tons of room for us. Great experience.
