Established in 1982.

Dr. Pieraccini established his office in his hometown, Sausalito in 1982. After a long time practicing Dr. Vohra Suparna took the practice in 2013 and is doing a great job with all the amazing patients that Dr. Pieraccini was taking care of.

I am a long time patient of this office, Dr. Vohra took over about two years ago and it has remained perfect. Today was my first time having work done, two cavities were filled, and it was quite a pleasant experience. Dr. Vohra and her assistant made me feel very comfortable. I love the subtle bling in the office with the top of the line refreshments. The overall experience truly makes me not mind going to the DDS :)

I highly recommend Dr. Vohra and her team. They are warm, friendly, experienced and very good at what they do. The offices are convenient and very nice. I recently had two cavities filled by Dr. Vohra and she was excellent and I barely felt any pain. Great bedside manner! I’ve never had such a great experience with dental work, and I’ve needed a lot over the years.

Suparna has created a lovely practice. Her office is beaming with kind, caring women who make a trip to the dentist something to look forward to (if one could believe that). She is an absolutely gorgeous person inside and out. But, don’t take this from me, the real testimony is from my three-​year-​old son who leaves smiling; always with a toy or a balloon chicken made from a rubber glove. This practice is based on the concept of genuine customer service and overcoming the primal fear of pain through hugs and warmth. Brilliant.

1. Your teeth are important. Dr. Vohra’s skills keep them looking tip top. I have four big chips in my front teeth from my lip pierced, barbell-​flaunting 20s, which I have had other dentists cap previously and which invariably broke out 5 – 10 days later. Doctor Vohra not only capped them with enamel to match my teeth PERFECTLY but did so to last — they have been in for over 6 months now, are strong as ever, and are undifferentiable from my natural teeth.
2. Laughter is good. Vohra’s office staff are each stand-​up comedians, I swear it; every time I go I come out many belly laughs later, smiling despite myself (and not just because my teeth are so fresh and so clean clean).
3. Caledonia St is cute (don’t tell the tourists). Excuses to walk it are always welcome.

I’ve been going to Dr. Vohra for over 5 years and never been disappointed. The dental work is top quality. Among other regular dental work, I’ve had some demanding issues with my TMJ and with clenching that aggravated headaches and migraines that I had. She fixed it with an extremely comfortable night time guard. Thank you, Dr. Vohra!
The office staff are very nice, very professional and really on top of things. They’re all very friendly and make you feel welcome. And I always find Dr. Vohra’s conversation, even during procedures, very entertaining– which is important when you have a dental implement in your mouth and can’t talk :)
My family, including my 2 kids– 13 and 6 yrs, also come here. I’ve followed Dr. Vohra’s practice around as she moved. It’s a BIT of a drive from Sunnyvale to Sausalito but when you’ve found an excellent dentist, you shouldn’t mess with your dental karma!
I highly recommend Dr. Vohra’s practice for anyone who needs top quality and honest work in soothing and serene surroundings.

It is always good to find a dentist through word of mouth. Three of my friends brought up Dr. Vohra in conversation at various times and so she was my first choice when I needed a small procedure last month.
She has an amazing location with easy parking and five-​star premises.
What really impressed me was how well my expectations were set for the next week. Dr. Vohra, in fact dissuaded me from getting additional treatments and prefers preventative steps than expensive fixes.
The office feels fresh and welcoming, the equipment looks like the best in the industry and the staff is polite and friendly. Dr. Vohra herself is a charming (and attractive!) Indian dentist with an easy smile and impeccable manners. Her knowledge and professionalism gave me confidence to go ahead with the procedure and I am very happy with my decision.

I have been going to Dr Vohra for over 10 years, following her to her great practice in Sausalito. She is not only an amazing dentist but an extremely warm and caring doctor with a very gentle touch. She is very knowledgeable about dentistry and keeps herself up to date on new techniques. She is very patient and always explains the treatments and the options.
Her office totally reflects her personality and the office staff is very friendly and courteous and always make me feel very welcome. I have full confidence in her and feel very comfortable leaving my health in her hands. I highly recommend her!!!

Doctor Vohra is excellent! Her and her staff are as competent as friendly. The equipment looks state of the art, the X-​ray system for example blows my mind. I come every year for cleanings and always get checked for anything abnormal. Doctor Vohra has the softest touch and most respectful manners. For a filling last year, she gave me a shot of anesthesia in the gum that was so gentle and I didn’t feel the discomfort of the needle nor the injection. She’s thorough and always has reasonable recommendations. I feel in good hands here and would recommend this office to anyone.

I went to Dr. Vohra for two visits. The first was for a regular check up, and the second for three small fillings. The actual care was not bad. Not outstanding, but not bad. They were running late both times, but not significantly.
I have Delta Dental insurance, and she was in network. When I came in for my fillings, Dr. Vohra’s office gave me an estimate of the costs ($ 111.90) and had me sign a release. This was no problem.
60 days later, I get a bill in the mail for an additional $ 208. This means the total cost of my procedure was three times what they estimated. For someone who works with Delta Dental on the regular, they should’ve known the pricing, or at least been only a small percentage off.
I called both insurance and Dr. Vohra’s office, but there was a lot of finger pointing back and forth, but ultimately the prices submitted to Delta for my procedure were far higher than Delta accepts, and I’m stuck with paying the difference.
Although requested, I did not receive the breakdown of where these charges were coming from, nor even a response from Dr. Vohra’s office.
I am mailing the payment tomorrow and never going back. At this point, I would like to clean my hands of any relations to them and move on.
Despite the care being satisfactory, I do not recommend Dr. Vohra’s practice to anyone due to the billing headaches.

Dr. Vohra is the best. I tried her for the first time this week looking to find a local dentist now that I live in Marin. And boy I am lucky to have landed such a great dentist on my first try. Way better than the ones I was seeing in SF.
The office is in a good location and feels warm and welcoming. The front office staff are friendly and professional; making you feel at ease from the moment you walk in the door.
Dr. Vohra did a thorough first exam and addressed the immediate issues in my mouth such as fillings that needed replacing etc, as well as addressed issues that might be problematic in the future and what the game plan would be for those issues.
I felt at ease when I came back for the dental work that needed to be done, knowing I was in good hands. Her hygienists were friendly and were there to help in my cleaning/​treatment.
I definitely have found my new dentist.

Dr. Vohra is outstanding! I had a problem that she fixed after 20 years and 3 dentists who didn’t fix it. I had two teeth with crowns and food constantly got stuck between these teeth. It made by gums sore and was such a pain to live with. She dove deeply into what was going on and referred me to several specialists (Ana Amaya, DDS and Daryl Dudum, DDS — each outstanding as well, in periodontics and endodontics) to do their part of what was needed before returning to her for the final steps. Last time I was in she gave me a shot and I’ve never experienced this before in a dentist’s chair: I truly couldn’t feel anything — not the needle going in or anesthesia being administered. Amazing. I am super happy with the outcome as well; now I chew all I want on those teeth and food doesn’t get stuck! I also enjoy being at Dr. Vohra’s office; she and her staff go out of their way to be friendly. She is passionate about her work and it shows.

Dr. Vohra is an amazing dentist. She filled a very deep cavity on my 5 year old son and he did not even know it! He had to have an injection which he never saw or felt. At the end of his filling he was smiling and laughing and gave her a big hug (and he is very shy)! It does not get better than that.
I have never written a review on Unilocal,but feel so impressed by Dr. Vohra’s warm charm, exceptional ability as a dentist and the over all positive feeling in the office, that I simply had to write. They even put on kids music for my son as an added touch so his appointment would be more pleasurable — and it was!

PAIN FREE experience! For those of you who think you need an ocean of novocain or that drilling has to be a painful experience, think again. I used to think that until today. Dr. Vohra takes her time to listen to your concerns, walks you through the entire process and has a gentle hand along with a gentle personality. For the person who had the issue with biliing, I suggest you speak to the front office again. I have had only excellent experiences here. For those concerned about parking, 2 hour parking spots are only two blocks away, so no big deal. Extra shout out to Christine, who is my favorite dental hygienist on the planet. Super informative, thorough and great sense of humor too!

Easing me in with friendly conversation, Dr Vohra treats me as a whole person, not just a mouth. She sees what is happening with my teeth as linked to the well-​being of my whole body — a welcome approach that is rare in dentistry. I appreciate not only Dr. Vohra’s professional approach and personal style, but also her office. The staff is friendly and attentive, the facility is comfortable and lovely, and the office is just blocks from the Sausalito ferry. I didn’t know going to the dentist could be so relaxing.

Dr. Vohra has been my dentist for 5 years, and has taken over the practice of Dr. Pieraccini. She has incredible skill and depth of knowledge in the dental arts. And she takes time with you to give excellent care, you know your are in good hands with Dr. Vohra and getting the very best care available. She explains everything along the way, and is fully comfortable using latest technologies. Her gentle hand (oh, did I just get my teeth worked on?) and personable manner make every visit a fun and educational experience.
The office is relaxed, comfortable, and nestled in downtown Sausalito so it’s also a ferry commute for me. I love ferry rides. If there was a category for dental care spas this would be it. Every time I enter the office the staff is friendly, welcoming, and efficient. You’ll even get a SMS text confirmation reminder about your visit with reply protocol — couldn’t be simpler! Anyone who’s had prior dental PTSD will change their mind after visiting this office. I give my highest recommendation to Dr. Vohra. Only if all my professional service providers could be like that.

Let’s start by saying that I have always hated going to the dentist. Just the thought sent me into super anxiety mode enough to make me physically ill. Because of really really bad and painful past experiences I have had a hard time sticking to one dental office. I have searched high and low, far and wide for a really great dentist and office and by God I have finally found one. Dr. Pieraccini is the bomb. Not only is he patient and understanding he is gentle in his process. His team is amazing and I cannot praise them enough. Their attitude is great and I feel relaxed when I walk through the office. I am so happy to have found the pot of gold at the end of a very muddy rainbow of dental hell! They are the best!

I have been going to see Dr. Pieraccini and his team for over 5 years now. I couldn’t be happier with my dental choice! I am always beyond pleased with everything from my greeting from Cara and her smiling face and sweet, personable attitude, to my cleanings with Christina who is highly knowledgable and extremely thorough, and my procedural work with Dr. P. He is a true professional but is so kind as well. He is informative, thorough and makes sure that I am happy. I had one procedure that was quite the pain and Dr. P stopped nothing short of perfection which is exactly what I want in a dentist but wouldn’t have necessarily expected — from anyone other than him.
I would full heartedly recommend Dr. P and his whole office in a heartbeat and no matter how much farther north I keep moving I will always make the drive to see him and his team as they truly go the extra mile which makes my dental trips something that I actually look forward to.

I’m so happy I’ve found a dentist that I really like. And, I mean, it’s kind of hard to like the dentist — isn’t it? Not Dr. Pieraccini. I’ve been there a few times for cleanings and assessments, but yesterday was the first time I had to get a procedure done. I was terrified. He warned me I might end up needing a crown or a root canal (GASP!). I was literally on the verge of an anxiety attack — sweating, pulse racing, the whole bit. But he was great and was super calming. He broke the news that a filling would suffice (hooray!!!) and worked really efficiently. Good stuff.
I also love their office manager and the fact that they text you your appointment. Bonus.
