NTB – National Tire & Battery

Place is terrible we have waited forever to get tires balanced they came out 1 hour later saying the 18inch tire is to big for the machine which is not true and they were saying how they didn’t wanna do something to another guys car and I’m feeling they are just lazy!

I walked in to NTB Saugus, without an appointment, for 4 new tires. From the moment that I got there, the service was exceptional, especially for a tire center. The store manager went out of his way many times to exhibit that he cares about his customers and the well-​being of my vehicle. Love my new tires, love this NTB.

This place is an absolute shit show, pulled in because I was desperate and needed to plug a tire!
They tell me sure we can do and keep in mind I have 2 not happy children with me… so we are all in the lobby & he comes over & tells me Ooh my tire guy went on lunch so its going to be about 30 minutes… Couldnt you have mentioned this BEFORE I unload everyone from the car & go into the place… and your tire GUY arent you a Tire place, shouldnt there be more than ONE tire Guy???
So we are sitting in the back waiting room and there is windows that allow you to watch the whole process & they bring my car in and then proceed to pop the hood, run diagnostics (all the while my kids are being assholes) and I had to interrupt to ask what they were doing… I got the «ooh we check everything line» well did you ask me if I needed anything checked, plugged the damn tire & lets go… I had already been there 40 mins at that point.
I get they want to «find» other things wrong to sell you things, But the car is 3 months old CLEARLY all set. Just get it going. I was soo mad…
So then they FINALLY get me out & honestly the man working on my car was more than likely eligible for retirement and not the fastest of the bunch.
Then my car is pulled up out front & the kid in the front proceeds to take another customer ahead of me instead of ringing me out… Wanna guess where I WONT be going again??? Sorry NTB but this was not a good experience.

I have to say I have been to NTB a couple of times and the staff is extremely friendly. How often does the actual store manager come to you and offer you a cup of coffee. Felicia is great! The mechanic explains the problem and even bring you out to the garage to show you. Each time I have been there the work was done before the promised time

First time visit. Could have been a bit better. No one to greet me when I returned to pick up my car. Room for improvement especially with all the local competition.

Just had a tire repaired at NTB-​Saugus. I was greeted by the store manager, and serviced quickly and efficiently. My other tires and battery was checked while I was there, and I was even provided a quote in preparation for necessary brake work. I will definately be returning to NTB-​Saugus AND highly recommend!
