Welcome to Ivona Tassin Waxing and Skincare! Located inside the Sarpi Salon, we specialize in waxing from head to toe. Ivona is a Brazilian wax professional and uses only top of the line lavender rosin or creamy chamomile strip wax for all body hair removal while using gentle hard wax on the face. Both men and women are welcome and treated with the upmost respect and discretion. Relax & Wax products available in store to care for your freshly waxed skin.

Business Owner

Ivona Tassin is a licensed aesthetician on a mission to help all of her clients achieve their full beauty potential. Ivona received her RN from the Charles University School of Nursing and previously worked as a nurse in the Czech Republic and Germany. Shortly after moving to America she realized she can effectively use her strong educational background in the medical field by pursuing a career in aesthetics — skincare and hair removal.

A graduate of the Elizabeth Grady School of Esthetics, she also received her aromatherapy certificate with the Phytotherapy Institute, microdermabrasion certificate and is a Reiki Level I practitioner. Ivona takes pride in delivering customized, results oriented treatments with the utmost care and respect for her clients needs.

Found Ivona on Unilocal with such great reviews I had to try her and I’m glad I did. Ivona is very warm and welcoming I felt very comfortable getting a Brazilian. It’s not like getting your eyebrows done haha so having your lady bits out can be quite unnerving especially at a first time appointment. But she did a great job it was almost like seeing an old friend I highly recommend her!

Went today for a Brazilian and brow wax. Needless to say I was a nervous wreck. Ivona was a complete professional and let me know each step of the way what to expect. It’s hard to not feel embarrassed in such a compromising position but she kept me chatting to keep my mind off the pain. Price was excellent as she was very thorough and so nice! Will be back!

I have been going to Ivona for years now and never once have I been disappointed she is down right amazing! She offers numerous services, all at beyond reasonable prices she could charge double and I would still go! Her facials are by far and away the VERY BEST! She is amazing, super friendly, makes you instantly feel comfortable, takes great care, plus the space is private and relaxing, and you will leave feeling rejuvenated and SO happy with your skin! She is a MUST!!!

I love this place! It is tucked away inside of a hair salon so it can be hard to find. But Ivona is the best.
I have very sensitive skin, and I wanted a Brazilian wax. She easily accommodated my needs by switching to a different type of wax in certain areas. She also waxes more than the other places I’ve been and is much more thorough. I went back a second time and had an even better experience.
Over all, she is a nice person and does a great job for a reasonable price. I highly recommend!

LOVE Ivona. LOVE LOVE LOVE her!
I started going to see her after an upsetting and expensive experience at a more local (to me) waxing place who charged me almost twice what Ivona does!
She instantly put me at ease ! (I mean seriously– my legs are in a stirrup –like pose– I guess I gotta feel comfy with her seeing ‘it all’ lol)
Ivona knows I have a low pain tolerance (shed say non existent I am sure) and works VERY hard with me to make my brazilian wax (I know TMI) as pain free as possible.
I leave happy and hair free for weeks. She makes me laugh– THATS a huge plus when your private part fur is being ripped off

Def worth the drive from Burlington in rush hour traffic to see her!

The best!
I wanted a brazilian done for the first time and while searching on Unilocal found her with five-​star reviews so I knew I had to check her out.
Ivona was already at the front desk when I arrived, greeted me and gave me a form to fill out. When I finished she led me to her room which has a very nice, clean, calm atmosphere. She did the brazilian wax first, and she was very quick and professional and attentive throughout the process. She used a soft wax that smelled like lavender with strips. I have a high tolerance for pain, so can’t comment too much on that, but Ivona was super nice and the waxing lasted maybe 15min.
She also did my brows with a hard wax. I was a little nervous because I had an unpleasant experience once with an eyebrow waxing but she took her time and that process was virtually painless as well. And she listened when I asked for my brows to be not too thin!
Her prices are very reasonable, and she is very friendly and I am definitely looking forward for my next waxing. I would giver her ten stars if I could. I highly recommend her for first time brazilian waxes.

I went to Ivona for the first time today and I have to say, I loved her from the second I met her. I have never had any waxing done before and today was my first time getting a Brazilian so needless to say I was nervous but she made me feel so comfortable. The appointment was quick and she was super professional throughout the whole thing. She was very caring and thorough and made sure to advise me on the aftercare. I would highly recommend her to anyone and I will definitely be returning in 3 – 4 weeks!!!

Ivona is a goddess. I followed her to Saugus because she is simply the best aesthetician around. I CANNOT go to anyone else and if you try her, you will feel the same way. This eview is mostly for waxing even though I got a facial from Ivona once and it was fabulous. Back to waxing though: the service room aways smells incredible and is perfectly lit. Ivona is also super sweet so she always makes me feel comfortable and relaxed. She uses great gentle products and is always seeking to provide only the best for her clients. I have been going to her for years and she only gets better. Waxing is as painless as it can be for waxing. She has magic hands. I am not sure how she does it, but she manages to be supermeticulous leaving any area perfectly clean while at the same time being both incredibly quick and gentle. I actually don’t dread my wax appointments thanks to her service and care. And have I mentioned how fair her prices are? You will not find anyone as good as her. I am a superfan

Where do I even start to sing my praises about Ivona? I have been seeing her for over a year after moving to the North Shore when she was recommended by my hair stylist. I have now seen her for waxing, facials, and she recently did my makeup for my wedding (I even cried because she did such a beautiful job). Every single time I see her she exceeds my expectations. She is professional, highly skilled, SO friendly and such a wonderful person. I hope she never leaves this location because it is so convenient, but I’d follow her where ever she goes. Definitely recommend any of her services.

I’ve been searching for a skilled and professional person that does Brazilian waxing. Ivona is the one! I had my first appointment with her today. First, she was very accessible. I sent her a text message to check her availability and book an appointment. She got to me right away and I saw her the very next day. Ivona was very friendly and extremely professional. She made me feel very comfortable and she made the process quick and less painful. Her work space is very pleasant and very clean. Ivona is amazing.
I discovered her while I was cruising on Unilocal & saw she had 4&5 stars reviews for Brazilian waxing so I had to try her out. My normal waxer (in CA) uses hard & soft wax & baby powder so I was curious as to what Ivona would use. She has 3 different types of waxes but uses the soft wax that smells like lavender. She’s super fast and it’s painless taking closes to about 20mins. I love when baby powder is applied because it takes away the pain tremendously & is crucial in the summer. She’s very sweet and personable & I couldn’t be happier with my wax.
I also made an appointment for my mom for a surprise aromatherapy facial and she LOVED IT! She literally looks years younger and has the best glow. She looks fabulous & Ivona did a fantastic job.

After relocating to Boston and not wanting to travel to Wayland for a wax I decided to buy a living social deal for a Brazilian wax. After reading the previous reviews I felt like I was making a great choice. When I called her she was very friendly and professional. I was a bit nervous because my previous waxer had used hard wax, and I wasn’t sure if she was going to use strip wax. She insisted that the type of strip wax that she uses is great for the bikini area, and we could do a test on a patch of skin first to see if there were any reactions.
When I arrived she kindly greeted me, I filled out a new client form, and she brought me to her room that is located in a salon off of RT 1.
After testing the lavender wax that she promised would work wonders we decided to go with that. The wax was pretty fast and easy. I hardly felt it! The lavender made my skin super soft and it smelled lovely.
Here usual price of $ 45 dollars and her friendly and relaxing atmosphere will definitely guarantee my return!

I received a brow wax and facial from Ivona as a gift– and left knowing that I will always be a regular client now. She groomed my brows so quickly and painlessly and they were the perfect shape for my face! I am sensitive and get red easily, so she used several soothing products for them during my facial. And what a facial it was!!! The absolute best facial and for that matter, spa service, that I have ever had! She is totally methodical, very sanitary, and every move seemed to be thought out. While I had masks on, she’d give attention to my shoulders, arms, or feet. The extractions were done by an expert hand– no pain! No gouging! I was totally relaxed through the whole service, yet still aware at how thorough she was. My skin is now radiant, nourished, and hydrated and I feel so good!
I have already told my husband and several of my friends about my experience, hoping they’ll start to see Ivona, too. I know I’m already planning my next visit!!! And any of my friends on here… You now know what I want for mother’s day or my birthday (wink, wink) although I know I can’t wait until then– I’m going back ASAP!
