Had a pretty lousy experience here. I wouldn’t say it was busy but the person ahead of me took forever. The workers were really slow. I ordered a simple iced coffee. nothing special, just an iced coffee. I patiently waited and the person behind me got their order first and they ordered numerous items. The girl who took my order looked at me and realized they’d forgotten to make my order but didn’t even really care to do it and just took her sweet ass time. Gave me my order like nothing happened. An addition to my very very small list of lone starrers. Really disappointed with this branch of DD. I usually will never give a DD that low a rating because I LOVE Dunkin Donuts coffee — although I am a strictly weekend coffee drinker by choice. So whenever I get my cup of DD, I truly relish it. Especially the flavor I always add to my hot cup of coffee. So I have been to this branch a couple of times on the way to meeting friends who live close by in the area. The cofffee is the same — its DD coffee and I usually get it the way i like it. No complains. Yesterday I had this experience that prompted me to write this review. Yesterday on my way after meeting some friends early in the am prior to the big Super Bowl game, I got my coffee using the Drive Through. When i left the drive through and was on the road back home, I was SHOCKED to see«Go Hawks!!» written on the cup with black marker. I wish I had not been half way down the freeway else I would have turned around to ask the person on the store’s Staff team who gave me that coffee why he/she had to make my coffee drinking experience such an AWFUL one. I did take it personally on so many levels but kept my calm and composure and did not react despite being a Die Hard Patriots fan, on the eve of the biggest game of the season. What I DONOT understand is WHY did this person who is there to just do a simple job and be courteous and respectful to their customers took it upon themselves to Impose their personal beliefs and views on a customer without taking into consideration that it is the customer who is seeking just a simple cup of coffee and wants to move on with his day to day life. I was very OFFENDED that this member of the staff who I have no idea about and would not want to jeopardize his/her career by trying to throw any hints of any kind about who they are… that this member of this branch’s staff decided to make my simple coffee drinking experience a rather emotionally draining one by doing this mindless act of letting me know who they are rooting for. At the same time, I wasn’t and will never be expecting or asking for any other Dunkin’s drive-through staff to scribble Go Pats or Go Sox or Go C’s or Go B’s anytime in the present or future — during any time of the year because I DONOT want to know what their personal beliefs or liking are and whether they match with mine or not. I just want a cup of coffee and be on my way… I know I will NEVEREVER go back to this Dunkin Drive-through for this one singular awful experience despite the fact that it had no way in life to play any role in the outcome of the big game that the Patriots WON and the Seahawks LOST. I just wish this branch’s manager realizes the folly of this staff member and has a word with them about Customer Service basics. When it comes to customer service, the staff has to be mindful of what their personal beliefs are and keep it to themselves and not impose it on their paying customers. Especially in a drive-through situation where I am not trying to make friends with a bar tender who waits upon me and fixes me great cocktails, at one of my favorite bars. It’s a drive through of my favorite coffee of choice and let my drive-thru experience be a simple and hassle free one. It is as simple as that. Had my coffee cup been devoid of any such scribblings, I would have not bothered to write anything about this drive-through’s positive or negative traits. But This was just Unacceptable. A Die Hard Pats Fan who loves Dunkin Donuts.

I stopped at this location today on my way to my parent’s house. I hadn’t had coffee yet so it was convenient place since I could use the drive thru. There were several cars ahead of me but the line went quick. I would have been very pleased with my experience except that once I arrived at my parent’s house I noticed that across the top of the cup, right under the lid, there was a message written in black marker. It stated«Go Hawks». Being a huge Patriots fan along with the fact that it’s Super Bowl Sunday I was not amused! Aside from my love of the Patriots, I’m also a retail manager. I’m sure the jokester employee could have used the time that they spent writing on the cups much more productively!

Worst donuts and coffee ever!!! Ingredients are very low quality(laboratory chemicals) and like eating a mouth full of glue. The portion sizes have also gone way down. All misfits that work here and never get your drive thru order correct! also expecting a tip!!! Are you kidding!!! **Beware of the coffee, causing me to have extreme irritation with my insides and don’t even drink it that often. If you want great donuts and coffee go to Kane’s Donuts instead.

It seems this particular Dunkin D’s at 1204 Broadway(Rt.1 S) in Saugus, MA has it’s fair share of issues with getting an order straight at the drive-thru. I was there over the weekend with family and we all wanted something different but nothing at all complicated. I’m usually pretty clear and fairly loud when placing a drive-thru order but, not one person could get it right. After being asked(for what was at least the 5th time) what we wanted, a very rude young lady sarcastically commented that«she couldn’t hear or understand what I was saying». The order was for 4 medium coffees which consisted of 2 dark roast, cream no sugar, 1 Latte with 1 Splenda and 1 iced with cream and 2 sugars. Not rocket science for sure but«they» screwed up everything. As she was handing me each cup she repeated what SHE thought was ordered and it wasn’t even close. I won’t burden you with all the back and forth banter that took place but I will say it was NOT a pleasant experience. The attitude that was thrown at me was totally uncalled for. I told her that the drive-thru box microphone /speaker thingy might need adjusting if she can’t seem to hear what’s being ordered. She slammed the slide window shut and that was that. I won’t be going out of my way to order from this Dunkin again, ever; even if it was the only DD on the planet. Rudeness and sarcasm towards paying customers is just wrong. They need to get their act together and LISTENBETTER.

I don’t know why too many people are hating on this DD location. Personally, this is my favorite(then again, I only get donuts and hot coffee and don’t do drive thru)! They have my favorite donut at this location(the Vanilla Kreme Donut), they always seem to have it.

This location has Probably the worse customer service I’ve seen in the drive thru line… simple hot regular shouldn’t take 5 minutes when your the only one in the drive thru lane… I only go here because I pass it by on my way to work other than that I’d try to avoid it

This place is OK. They made up for their issues but the people that work there are not the smartest people in the world. They messed up a lot and they don’t care much.

Stopped in the other morning on my way up Rt 1… It might have been the longest wait in a DD Drive Thru Ive ever had… Then I had to repeat myself several times as if they arent even listening… Then nothing spectacular at the window, just a greeting from the woman who clearly needed another cigarette!

Small iced, milk and sugar. What? Iced coffee — small… With milk and sugar. OK. And a chocolate chip muffin. Muffin, ok, what kind, blueberry? Chocolate chip. OK… Sorry hon, how do you take your coffee again? And they didn’t offer to toast the muffin!

I must say, I almost never go to Dunkin’ Donuts anymore; I really hadn’t been to one in years. But on this particular day I found myself craving a cup of coffee and maybe a bite more, so I stopped at one«on impulse». It might have been any of the millions of Dunkin’ Donuts locations(one of my dislikes is that there are far too many of them), but the one I stopped at was chosen entirely at random. Upon entering, I first noticed the Disneyesque array of switchbacked rope barriers for queueing a large number of people. But at this time of day, the queue was empty so I went around it and straight to the ordering counter. Two attendants were there and took my order in concert; one focused on how I wanted my coffee, while the other queried me for exact specifications of a bagel with cream cheese. As the first attendant was preparing my coffee, the second made sure I didn’t want anything else and then cashed out my order. By then, the coffee was handed to me and I was directed to another counter to receive the bagel, which appeared only seconds later. My coffee was seasoned exactly as I had ordered, and the«everything» bagel was perfectly toasted and slathered with salmon cream cheese, just as I had asked for. It was obvious that this teamwork had been carefully choreographed, and very effectively too. I image it works quite well when that queue is full of people. All of the attendants were very pleasant and courteous! My total for a medium coffee with bagel and cream cheese came to $ 3.61 including tax… a reasonable value. It’s not the Dunkin’ Donuts I remember, where you could sit at the counter and be served coffee in a china mug. But for what it is, I can’t find much to complain about this Dunkin’ Donuts on US-1 in Saugus.

I occassionally go to this DD on my way to work however, recently I have switched to another one because this place is horrible. First off they never get my coffee right and second off they have bad attitudes. Oh yeah, I have had better sandwiches at the DDs in other places.

I’ve been noticing that every time I ask for a styrofoam cup with my iced coffee they snarl at me. And to that I say F you!
