I’ve had this place a couple times now and I really like it. I’ve only had 2 places in Saugerties so far but I liked this place a lot better than 2 Brothers. The pizza here isn’t amazing, but very good, I like the sauce and the crust is good, chewy but not too chewy, kinda on the light side but still crisp from the cornmeal coating. my one complaint though is that it doesn’t taste wood fired. The pepperoni they have is good, as is the sausage and bacon, but especially the bacon. Their wings are great too, I think they are marinaded, they have a unique flavor and the texture is a little different too. The buffalo sauce is good, it has a little sweetness to it, and the honey BBQ is good too, but it tastes familiar, it tastes like Open Pit brand. I’ll be in town from the summer and I will definitely be ordering from here a couple times a month

I recommend this place to everyone. The name has changed from Giordano’s but it’s the exact same owners and menu.(Basically they were getting sued about the name by some place in Chicago that has it trademarked… even though this family’s last name is «Giordano»! Ridiculous.) I get za from this place about once a week, so obviously I am a fan. It is nice and thin, great tasting sauce, cheese, and dough. Staff is nice and if you pick up it is only about a 15 minute time. I’ve never gotten delivery. There is a cheap pizza deal on Weds, I think a large cheese is just 8.50 or something like that. If you want to go nuts on a Monday it is 2 for $ 19, I think. The regular price of pizza is not too much either. I think it is $ 11. The baked eggplant pizza is good. Someone on here was complaining about grease — well, what do you expect when you’re dealing with eggplant and cheese? Eggplant is like a sponge! The eggplant pizza is yummy, while it can also be a bit heavy. I recommend this as a slice, or as an option if you get a variety of pizzas for a party or something. When it comes down to it, I usually just want their plain pizza because it’s so good and so affordable.

Inside of this generic looking store front is a hidden jewel of an Italian restaurant. Great pizza! Friendly service. Great pizza! Did I say great pizza. I felt like I was regular first time I ever stopped in. I can’t believe of drove past this place for 2 years. It will be hard to drive past anymore.

It’s been a while since I’ve had a truly BAD pizza. The occasional bland/generic-tasting pie, sure, but not horrible. Not this. I’m always hesitant to get pizza outside of Connecticut, and this is why. While in Saugerties, NY for a couple days, I decided to get a pizza, so I Unilocaled. Found a highly rated wood fired artisanal place on Unilocal, which seemed like a slam dunk. But I called and they were«closed for the winter». What? A pizza place? At the end of March? Closed for the winter? Ok. So I found another highly rated spot on Unilocal — Giordano’s Brick Oven Pizza. 4.5 stars with 17 reviews. Decided to give it a shot. Read people raving about the grilled eggplant pie, and I love eggplant, so I went with that. I wish I knew what any of the ingredients tasted like, but I couldn’t tell you. I don’t know if this is normal for this place or if someone just had a really bad spill, but there was about a gallon of oil covering my entire pizza. There were puddles of it spilling over the edges, into the pizza box. I’ve never seen anything like it. It didn’t look good at all, but I was starving. So armed with a roll of paper towels to sop up the flood, I got to it. Instant regret. Really couldn’t taste anything at all besides the oil. Felt like I weighed about 400 lbs after a couple slices. Hours later, the soaked«pizza» was still glistening. Woof. There was a sign on the counter saying they were going wood fired soon. Maybe it’ll be better then. But this was just bad. First time in a very long time Unilocal has steered me wrong.

Not a bad option if you’re driving through and don’t want to eat some place scary. This is a ~no frills~ pizza place… order at the counter. they have pizza by slice and then a full menu. then go sit down at one of the 30 tables they have. We ordered the chicken marsala… it was big enough for two people. even though the guy at the counter mentioned«I can eat the whole thing myself». Which is actually quite impressive seeing as myself and my mushroom man couldn’t finish the whole thing between the two of us. The service was in fact really friendly… took about 15 minutes for the food to come up. The place was completely empty but we came at a weird time, like 2:30 on a Monday. The food itself was pretty good, chicken was cooked nicely, sauce wasn’t greasy. I didn’t know what chicken marsala was until this place and for my first time I definitely liked it… not Michelin status but not bad!

Good pizza and entrees. Their marinara for entrees in tasty but a bit watery(could cook down more). Convenient to the thruway.

On many Sunday nights I turn to Giordano’s. They really make a special pie and the delivery is nice and quick. Sometimes you just want to snuggle up at home and feed your pie hole. Well, folks, this is the place. My only complaint is the way the green peppers are chopped instead of sliced. Makes for a wetter pie than if you sliced them.

Hubby and I stop here on the way to upstate NY. We get the sicilian pizza and it’s out of the world — fantastic! The pizza is cooked in a wood fire oven. The wait staff are very friendly. A must go to pizza place if you are in the area.

Pizza was incomparable to anything I’ve ever had. Cooked to a perfect crisp, with fresh ingredients and toppings. Great place to sit and eat for a pit stop! Friendly service, great pizza, and if you were wondering, a clean bathroom!

Fantastic pizza! The restaurant is easy to miss, its talked into a fairly bland strip mall, but the service was so friendly and the pizza crust and sauce were perfect! If you’re around the area, definitely worth stopping by

Grilled eggplant pizza is the best. May be our favorite pizza ever. It’s worth driving up 2 hours from the city.

I drive 20mins passing local cardboard tasting pizzerias 3mins away to get my pizza fix here. Wood fired scent and taste is incomparable. Extra cheese option makes it even better imo. Friendly and serious about their pizza. Thank you always!

Good food overall. moderate prices. Good wings. Not the best garlic knots, or cannolis though.

Let me start by saying that I’m not affiliated with Giordanos in any way other than as a die-hard patron. We have eaten here for 3 years, every day for lunch, with a crew of 3 – 5 guys and we have never been disappointed. Giordanos Pizza is a single location, family owned and operated establishment. You will no doubt find at least one of the brothers Giordano behind the counter when you arrive, and you may even meet their father also. Local folks who feed and employ local folks. A great bunch of guys. Selection is the name of the game at the counter. You will find a dozen or more selections to choose from as part of their«2 slices and a drink» lunch special. Common topping/slice choices include baked Ziti, Primavera, Taco, Supreme, Chicken Bacon Ranch, Caprese, «Grandma»(Margarita basically), 3season, Meditarranean, Spinach/crushed Tomato, White Tomato Basil, Cesar Salad, Buffalo Chicken, Chicken Parm… I’m literally fighting to remember all of the killer combos I’ve eaten here, but these along with rarities like Mac and Cheese and the Sausage and Pepper slices grace my plate often. Garlic knots and breadsticks are awesome, but my personal favorite side is the Spinach Knot, and you have to eat one to truly get it. Paninis, burgers, salads, wings… they are all great, and if you don’t believe that this is the best local pizza, go try Village, 2 Brothers, Slices or Pizza Star first and then tell me who tops the heap. Agreed that the décor is in need of an update, and their Web presence is basically nonexistent, but in an economy plagued by inflation, and despite constantly rising overhead costs, these guys still offer an excellent meal at a price point that won’t break the bank.

Loved it! Emily was super friendly and handled the four tables professionally when we were there. Yes the place needs updating but the pizza was great! See the photo the pizza was outstanding! Stop by right off the thruway. Easy on and off!

We had to thank the owner personally for such a great experience here. They took my family of 6 at closing time and were totally accommodating. We devoured three juicy, tasty pizzas and left feeling so satisfied. Nice staff, fresh pizza — go here when you’re in town!

Went to this place for lunch as we were in the area. It was a rainy Sunday 3PM and no customer was in the restaurant. The place has the 80’s décor of paneled walls and fake ivy which collected dust. We ordered a large pie with onion, green pepper and artichokes. The onion and peppers were cut in thick chunks instead of thin slices which cook faster. The onion tasted raw, the peppers where a greyish dark olive color and tasted equally bad. The pizza had too much sauce and the cheese slid off the pointed part from each slice. This place has an Italian name but the pizza was far from the expected Italian norm. No flavor of a wood burning oven, too. Instead of plates, they well used aluminum small pizza pans which was not very aesthetic or appetizing. They served a small soda in a paper kiddicup in the restaurant. I would not ever go this place again.
