I found this piano tuner through a recommendation on a mother’s club forum. He has an extensive and informative website, with a well laid out pricing structure. When I called to set up an appointment, he asked me the kind of piano I had. I have a hand-me down piano form my grandmother (a console piano). Which is all I really need, but he said that it wouldn’t even be worth tuning because it would never sound any good and that he just didn’t work on pianos that weren’t worth it. So, if you have a nice baby grand that needs work — I’m sure he’s a great piano tuner, but if you have a run-of-the-mill piano that you just want to have your kids learn piano on, try someone else.
