I can’t say enough about Jesse’s Garage! I have a 2006 VW convertible Beetle with 93,000 miles on it. After dealing with VW on a few items, I realized I was being ripped off. I found Jesse by reading many reviews, and decided to give him a try. That was over 4 years ago, and Jesse has taken great care of my car ever since. He is knowledgeable, honest, fair, and easy to work with.

I went to Jesse’s after I took it upon myself to add freon in my car … We added to much freon and my AC only blew warm air. Jesse was very honest w/​me. He told me he had to do as all mechanics do a process of elimination … At the moment we didn’t know if that was the issue. He let me know that there was no guarantee if that would be it. And also googled for me the cost of a part to the air compressor vs. replacing the entire thing which about $ 600 dollars. I did have to much freon, he did drain it out put new in and it works great again. I know VW would of just said I needed a new air compressor. I will be going to Jesse for now on for any work I need done on my car and do have a scheduled visit w/​him as he ran diagnostics as well and I need (which I have needed for some time) a air sensor. When your a single female you need a honest mechanic and one that is not going to over charge you. He def has my business and would highly recommend him to anyone. Thanks Jesse!

I can’t say enough good things about these guys. They’ve worked on my wifes Lexus, which has over 200,000 miles, several times & they’re always honest, fair & timely. They also service my work trucks & they know what they’re doing. I’ve referred my friends several times and I always hear good things about them. Franky is the owner, you can really trust him.

There is not a more knowledgeable mechanic around. Add that to his reasonable prices and dedication to his work and you can’t do any better. In addition as a bonus he’s personable and fun to hang out with to learn about your car. Jesse’s dedication to automobiles stems from the love of the rally sport and his love of automobiles in general. He brings that to his work on your car as well as his own. He is a real find in Sarasota.

I have been taking my cars to Jesse for years and wouldn’t trust anyone else to do the best possible job at the best possible price. Where others will rip you off… Jesse will not. Let’s be honest, we take our vehicles to mechanics because we do not have the skills, tools, or abilities to do it ourselves. As such, we are ripe to be plucked of all our cash. You need a new «whatever»…that’s going to be $ 1000…and we are shocked BUT WE PAY IT. Here is a most recent example for me. I went to dinner and came out and my truck was sputtering… I couldn’t drive it home for fear I would stall. Of course, I call Jesse. He had two weeks of work on his plate but he tells me to bring it in. I do. After taking a look, Jesse recommends replacing all of my coils (we had already had a problem with one). This is going to likely be a $ 600-​$ 800 fix. I need my truck so I say go for it. The next day Jesse calls me and says that it was just a small amount of water that had gotten on my spark plug and new coils are not needed. I go in and all he asks for is $ 40. $ 40 DOLLARS PEOPLE! From $ 800 to $ 40!!. Do you think any other mechanic would do that? No way! I would not have known any better but that is just not the way Jesse is. He is an honest and good man… and a great mechanic. I will always recommend Jesse and anyone who works for him. Thanks Jesse… you’re the man!

Decided to go to Jessie’s garage based on all the positive reviews. I can’t recommend him more highly ! Don’t hesitate to come here for any foreign car repair. Jessie Is honorable and trustworthy. He will do a great job and not rip you off! I would give him 10 stars!

Simply the best and most trustworthy shop in Sarasota/​Bradenton area. Jesse and Dimitri are honest, they won’t jerk you around, and they will let you know exactly what the issues are. I trust them with my M5 as well as my 550i. They performed an engine replacement on my E60 M5, they finished ahead of schedule, and went above and beyond. The quality of work is top notch, clean, complete, no shortcuts. I will be bringing all my cars here without a doubt. You will not find a better BMW, European car, tech shop in the Sarasota area. A tractor trailer threw a tire in front of my car while I was driving on I75. My car needed repairs. Being a «snowbird «from the North I was very concerned about finding a good repair business to repair my car. Jesse’s Garage fixed my car with all OEM parts and I am very pleased with the work done on my car. Jesse’s Garage is very competent and honest. Based on my experience I highly recommend Jesse’s Garage!

Jesse and Dimitri rock. That’s all there is to it. Best car repair experience I have ever had. 1991 BMW 535i. They took this car from limping into the shop back to the performance it had when I bought it.

Thanks Jesse for taking the time to figure out the problem with my car. Jesse took his time and found a cost effective solutions to the problem on my Nissan Armada. I had a few electrical problems that Jesse found quickly!

I just got home from Jesses Garage, and boy am I thankful I found him. I had taken my honda civic to the dealer about a month ago for some issues I was having. They told me, among many other repairs, that it needed to have the compliance bushings replaced. Long story short, after going back and forth with me, I decided to take it to jesses for a second opinion.
I called Jesse this morning at 8:45 and explained my issue to him and be told me to come in right away. As soon as I got there, he put the car on the lift and gave a thorough inspection. He showed me the compliance bushings which were cracked, but did not need to be repaired. He did, however, show me the rear passenger shock that was leaking and would need to be replaced sometime in the future.
There is something so powerful about being able to show your customer something that needs to be repaired, and comparing it to what it «should» look like to support your recommendation. Unfortunately, as a young woman I do feel like I need to be wary of mechanics, but that was certainly not the case with Jesse. He was informative, friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. I am so so happy I found him. He saved me $ 500+ during the holiday season, and for that I am truly grateful. He didn’t even charge me a diagnostic fee.
If you are in the sarasota area and are looking for a good, honest, affordable mechanic, please go to jesses. He does specialize with European car, but seems to have an excellent knowledge base for all makes and models. You will not regret it!

Visiting my 90 year old grandma in FL, we discovered her cars AC was blowing hot air. We found jesses place on Unilocal and went in at 505pm less than 1 hr before close in hopes we could get this foxed for her without delay. They immediately took us in and had the AC blowing at 48 degrees in less than 10mins for $ 40. Great customer service. Cheap. Friendly. Honest. Thank you!

Called early Saturday morning, did not leave a message and Jesse called me back (caller ID works sometimes). Oil changed/​total assessment of my car was completed in one hour! Highly recommend Jesse!

An excellent experience with Jesse. He and his staff are very knowledgable auto mechanics. Other mechanics misdiagnosed the problem, and Jesse nailed the issue right on target. My car runs great and I’ll be back! Great people to deal with!

Had a small problem with the cigarette lighter outlet in a two year old VW CC which the dealer refused to cover under the warrantee and wanted a minimum of $ 30 – 35 to fix. So I went to Jesse who diagnosed and fixed it in about five minutes.
While I was there, he was discussing the true costs of replacing a motor in a BMW, not putting any pressure on the client and explaining all options.
His shop can handle any job –big or small– and I highly recommend it.

Highly recommended! I’ve lived in the area 35 years and Jesse is one of the best mechanics in the Sarasota area. He will tell you exactly what is wrong and what it will cost in parts and labor. He will even help you find parts and only charge a reasonable price for his labor. You can trust him to give you the best possible experience fixing your car.
He specializes in BMW but worked on my Nissan 300z and has a working knowledge with all vehicles. If he doesn’t he can recommend you to someone. He has a very good Volvo expert right next to his garage for example.

I’m new to the Sarasota area so when I needed an oil change… I went running to Unilocal.Jesse had the best reviews by far so I made an appointment.
Now I know why.
Jesse was very cordial and knowledgeable of my vehicle. We had a good conversation while he did his thing and even took the time to check all of my tire pressures (even the spare) and snooped around the crevices of the undercarriage.
He does a lot of work on BMW’s so if you have one… this should be the place to go. Overall a very good guy /​mechanic that makes you feel good about bringing your car to a trustworthy source.

I will say one of the biggest things I appreciated with Jesse is truly feeling that I have someone I can trust to do good work and not price gouge me! Phew… Finally!
