These guys are awesome. I needed two box springs delivered last-​minute. I didn’t even have to leave my house. They took payment over the phone and delivered same-​day. I would definitely recommend them and do business with them again in the future.

Hank was AMAZING! I walked in with 1,000,000 questions and he answered all with patience! I will definitely referee anyone I know who is looking for a bed to mattress man!

Hank was Awesome. We needed a bed and he was so nice, no pressure which is never the case in the mattress world.
I even told him we couldn’t pick up the mattress when we thought we could and he was so kind and said no worries pick it up when ever you can. Great guy. I bought mattress 2 mattress’s there and I still love them both and so happy with the service too. thank Hank.

Still don’t have my bed!
I give 5 stars to the salesman, and no stars to the warehouse. We had a delivery date one week from purchase but 2 days before we get a call from some woman who says she is the buyer and she says there is a foam shortage. No, there is no foam shortage.
I called the store and immediately after hanging up we receive a call from the warehouse. They still can’t seem to figure out when the bed is coming in, or when they can deliver it.
The salesman did his job, but that’s where it ends. Once the bed is sold good luck. You are on your own.

I was sleeping on the couch downstairs. The pain I have daily from fibromyalgia and RLS I could not sleep on our matress. I stopped in on a whim and I was helped by explaining the expections I had for the new mattress. I was educated on which mattresses would help the most for my specific situation! I found the selection excellent but the sale was closed on price and value. We have had the best nights sleep and no more couch sleeping for me!

I came to sleep train because I hear about them just about everywhere. Scott was absolutely wonderful. He was helpful and friendly and didn’t pressure me at all. I took a few days to think about it since this was my first time buying a brand new bed. I went back a couple days later and Kevin helped me out. I was in and out in 20 minutes, and slept in my brand new bed that night. I even got a thank you note from Scott about a week later. I would definitely recommend this place. Awesome service!

I was referred to Hank by my boss after I told him I was in the market to buy a new mattress. Hank was so helpful and patient with me when I went in a few days later. He asked me questions about my current sleeping habits and the mattress I was sleeping on. Then he took me around and had me try different mattresses. I ended up going with the Renewed Energy by ComforPedic. It was a little more than I wanted to spend originally, but after having some time to think about it I decided to get it. It was delivered and set up this past Saturday (²⁄₁₄) I’ve slept on it now for the past two nights, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my decision to spend the extra money on this amazing mattress. After it was set up by the delivery guys I actually put the sheets on and laid down and fell asleep for about an hour without even realizing it! The past two nights of sleep were the best I’ve gotten in a VERY long time. So thank you Hank for all your help and patience! I am so VERY beyond pleased with my mattress!

Went today to take advantage of holiday sales. Scott the salesman was really nice and wasn’t pushy at all. He helped us find two great mattresses and gave us plenty of time to make a decision. Of course I am a negotiator so when we were doing paperwork I asked if there were any discounts he could offer. Long story short he gave us about $ 500 in freebies and discounts… And got me right within the price range I wanted to pay.
Pretty decent selection and was overall an enjoyable experience. I am glad I came here instead of another mattress store.

Amazing experience! Hank the salesman was so great. Very friendly, not pushy and knowledgeable. He asked my price range and who it was for and we headed straight over to see a few. It was the easiest shopping I have ever done! Not only that I was in the store around 11 and my mattress is arriving between 2 and 4. Best experience ever!

I went in just to get a twin box spring and started talking to Hank about sleep and mattresses and was very impressed with his knowledge. He patiently explained the different types of mattresses and then 2 hours later explained them again to my wife. Hank didn’t steer us to any mattress, he let us make our own choice. Give this guy a shot. We love our bed. I intentionally waited a month before reviewing the bed.

Loved the «no pressure» environment here. Hank was very polite and informative. I told him my budget and he was very honest about pricing and quality when discussing it with me. He didn’t try to oversell or push me towards more expensive mattresses or big brand names. He took me around the store and had me try out several different types of mattresses while we narrowed down which kinds I liked. After a few trips around the showroom it came down to two that were similar in price but one was obviously much higher quality, so I went with that one. Delivery was free, and they took my old crummy mattress away for me. I slept on the new one for the first time last night and it was fabulous! Best money I’ve spent in a long time!

An impromptu (three week) visit from a family member had me out after dark looking for a mattress. After trying a few big-​name stores I almost gave up, not wanting to spend $ 1,000+ on a bed. I should have gone to SD Mattress Man first! Iyad was able to show me exactly what I needed, in the price range I was looking for. He never tried to up-​sell me or anything.
Not only was the bed perfectly inexpensive and loaded onto the truck for me, but my husband and I ended up sleeping on it for six nights (when the in-​laws came to stay over last week) and it was super comfortable too!

we bought our bed here a couple of weeks ago & a couple of pillows. We love it all. The bed & pillows have made a big differance in our sleeping. We sleep much better than before, we wake-​up much better as well. Hank was great with our daughters. Very nice & patient & helps alot.

Hank was great. No pressure sales and he really knew his business. Bought a wonderful mattress set and got free delivery and haul away of our old set. Been sleeping like a baby ever since! Thank you San Diego Mattress man!!!

After sleeping on a futon mattress for a year my wife and I were tired of waking up sore and unrested. So we decided to use some of our tax return to buy a new bed. We had been to Sleep Train a couple of times based on all the radio ads but all their stuff was more than we wanted to spend (less than $ 1,000). My wife stopped in to San Diego Mattress Man in Santee and found a wonderful pillow-​top queen from Stress-​o-​Pedic for $ 749. And it wasn’t even a floor model at that price! As soon as I laid down on it I knew we had our bed. We’ve had it about 3 weeks and we both wake up rested with NO BACK PAIN!

I went to this place to look at mattresses and I received a very good education on how we sleep, different mattresses and why they work. This was not a sales pitch. It was great information that lead my wife and I to the right mattress to buy. We purchased a good mattress that we felt great about. Great price, service, and truly very helpful.

My Husband and I went mattress shopping last Saturday or Sunday, my husband is a long time sales man himself so he researched on the internet and had several places picked out to shop. We went to Mattress Man first fully intending to check out and price compare all the locations we had been interested in.
Then we met «Hank», our sales man who greeted us. He was professional, knowledgeable, patient, genuinely friendly and all with out being pushy !!!
My Husband is not an easy customer by any means, being in the business himself. Simple easy answers to his questions and concerns would never do.
To sum this up, our day of mattress shopping ended right here !! I was truly surprised. We found the mattress we wanted, and left with no concerns.
The mattress was delivered the next day, our old CA. king taken away. The whole process could not have been any easier.

In case your wondering why not 5 Stars ?? The only fault that some may have is this place is bare bones, no beautiful show room areas to show case their beds here. But maybe that is why they can give such great prices ?! Which would you prefer …
Tonight will be the 5^th night on our new bed, and it seems to be everything we were hoping for !! :)

I have been looking for a twin set for quite awhile for a guest bed frame I have had. I came across this place and loved the fact that when I told them what I saw online and was looking for there was no attempt to upsale, add on or screw around. Pleased with the service and simple sweet transaction. Will check this place out again when upgrading the kids beds soon!
