Dr. Fossett and each member of our highly trained staff takes time to develop relationships with our patients. We all enjoy pediatric dentistry, and work well with children age 2 and older.

We also perform all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry, including many more advanced procedures and surgeries. Nearly all treatment is performed without the need to refer out to another specialist. We have a periodontist come to the office to assist us in more complicated cases. History

Established in 1981.

Dr. David Fossett joined the office in 2007 and has since assumed ownership of the practice. Our office has been in the same location since Dr. Doug opened it in 1981. Many of our patients have been with us for decades, and Dr. David now treats the grandchildren of Dr. Dougs loyal following. The majority of our employees have been with us for over ten years, making not only a well functioning technical dental team, but patients also can expect the comfort and enjoyment of a familiar face. Our staff are trained to place customer service and patient comfort above all else, focusing on conservative, comprehensive oral health care and maintaining longstanding relationships with our patients. We continue thriving on our excellent reputation in our community for honest, quality dental care.

Dr. David Fossett completed his undergraduate studies at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, & then graduated from the University of Southern California Dental School & joined the practice in 2007. He has taken a particular interest in cosmetic & implant dentistry, & has received training in the newest advances in aesthetic dental treatment. He has volunteered at the USC Mobile Clinic/​Ayuda Clinic in Los Angeles, St. Vincent de Paul Dental Clinic in San Diego, & Rotary Society clinics in Mexico. David & his wife Lauren, who is the office manager, have a daughter Alexis & a son Aiden.

Dr. Doug Fossett graduated from the USC Dental School in 1976. After completing dental internships in the U.S. Navy, he opened his Santee practice in 1981. Besides enjoying this practice, he has been the dental director of a skilled nursing home, a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul Dental Clinic, & currently is affiliated with the Grossmont R.O.P. Dental Assisting School.
