We are a State of California licensed Star Smog check facility. It offers smog checks for foreign and domestic vehicles. This includes RV’s, vehicles that run on diesel and more. It also offers «gross polluter» and «Change of Ownership» certifications. Services are available for walk-​in customers and by appointment. We not only proud ourselves on an average wait time of well under 30 minutes, but also, no appointment needed! STAR Certified Smog Station.. 2 Machines. Open Sundays and most Holidays.

The couple who runs this business are amazing! They are the friendliest people you will ever meet, I guarantee it. The location is kind of hidden, but it is very clean. They have an indoor seating area with a television so you can sit in comfort while waiting for your car to be done. I suggest this place over the «other» place down the street by the Sonics.

Well first of all this was one of the only smog places that was even open on sunday. When I got there the guys were very nice and even put cartoons on for my child. Only took about 10– 15 min. Great customer service I will be going back here next year!

I can’t say enough about these guys! They are friendly, price conscious, and get the job done quickly! My diesel VW didn’t pass the smog test (which was ironic, because the entire scandal was centered on how their software cheats the smog system). So the Smog guys cut me a deal and didn’t charge me for the re-​test after my car was repaired. I paid $ 9 for the certificate and was on my way. $ 60 total out of pocket isn’t too bad I suppose for a diesel, but their awesome customer service is what sets them apart. I’ll be back again!

This smog center is run by a very nice couple that have been operating it here in Santee for about 4 years. I was in and out in 10 minutes! No wait! With the Unilocal check in I paid $ 40 flat. They’re open 7 days a week and right off the 52 freeway so it was very convenient.

I came in a few days ago had a great experience! They have very friendly and helpful employees. I called with a check engine light question and they were able answer my question over the phone. They even did a free test to make sure my check engine light wasn’t going to turn on during the test! Extremely pleasant experience will defiantly be using them again!

Great smog testing place. Walked with no appointment and my vehicle was being tested with in minutes. This two man crew was very efficient and quick. After the test the technician explained the results. My only disappointment was that «the view» was on the TV in the waiting room. Haha. I recommend this place to everyone.

Fast Service, Fair Price and best of all. Great Customer Service!
I initially took my brother’s car here over the summer since he was out of town, and needed a smog ASAP. I found their Ad and noticed they were open Sunday’s, so I immediately contacted them and was told that they would be able to accommodate me the same day. I drove East County just to get the car smogged. Once I was there, I was greeted and they worked on the car and within 15 min it was done. I’ve taken my car just a few days ago for Star Certified Smog, and again same great service with a quick turnaround time.
The shop is family owned, and the couple that own it are very nice… as if I’d known them a long time. I highly recommend AAA Smog Center for their Fast, Friendly and Fantastic services! As shown here. it’s very telling.

Very good price & they offered a little discount for a Unilocal review too. The first time we went in we met two guys who were super helpful and nice. The test failed, and they helped us understand what was up and were kind. After we got the issue sorted out with the car dealership, we returned for our retest, and met two other people who were also super nice and helpful. Strange to say (especially since we had a failed test and then a retest) but it was a pleasure to work with them. I’ll definitely return next time we need a smog check.
PS They were really quick — it maybe took 10 minutes each time.

What a great place!!! Friendly affordable. They got me in and out with no wait. And I called to set an appointment only 30 min before hand. I will probably always come here for my Smog test needs now. Totally took the stress out of having to get my car smogged! I will also be spreading the word.
