Tint By Day

Ryan is a boss at tinting, not only that, he’s a good guy. The location is weird due to the blue building claiming that he owns all of the parking spots. Will definitely tint there again.

Ryan is such an amazing person to work with. He is so personable. I was referred to him by a friend and looked him up on Unilocal,he provides such excellent customer service. I had my 2015 accord sport tinted by him and now I’m having my 2016 Tacoma TRD Offroad done. I would highly recommend him to everyone. His prices are beyond good and the quality is phenomenal. I can’t praise his work enough.

I had an appointment for two cars at 10 am, it took them over 8 hours to finish one and the second one didn’t even get tinted, they told me both of my cars would take about 8 hours. they closed the shop and the first car wasn’t even ready. my other car did not get tinted because it was time to close the shop. I drove all this way waited 7 hours, this is the worst place I have ever been too. If I knew I would be waiting this long I would have never gone to tint by day, this was a total waste of time, they didn’t apologize and I felt like I was pushed out of the place. the tint job seemed ok for the time being, I am extremely disappointed. I expected more.

If you are thinking about tinting your car windows for the summer look no further as this guy is the best, Great location, Friendly and efficient staff, great team work and quality craftsmanship. Ryan the owner is an expert in his field in my opinion and if you have a question he has the answer. He did a warranty job for me for my back rear window installed by another company and my car window now looks brand new and extremely professional. Thank you for making my Day.

I have taken all my cars to this shop and they always do a professional and nice job. I have never taken the time to write a review for «good reasons» but after my recent exprience with Cartunes next door I felt the need to give a «shout out» to Tint By Day. Ryan has done several cars for me and my friends and every one has been done perfectly. All their work held up nicely, even several years later in some cases. This is hands down the best tint shop in Santa Rosa.

Went back to Ryan at Tint by Day to have my wife’s Infinity G35 coupe tinted. Again Ryan and his guys did a great job and the car looks great. Ryan was great about working me into his schedule as it was a last minute job for a valentines day gift for my wife. If you are going to get your windows tinted don’t go anywhere other then Tint by Day. Thanx again Ryan! I’ll be getting my new car done with him soon as well.

Bought a 2004 Ford F150 in 2006. Took it to Tint by day to have the front door windows tinted. Made an appt and arrived a little early. They took me in as soon as I arrived. Matched the tint for the front windows to the rear windows as I requested. * years later, the tint is on my windows without flaws.
I have since taken a VW I purchased for my daughter to have all the windows done. One again, excellent service, high quality work!
As an aside. I had the rear window of my truck vandalized recently. Took it to the glass shop in the building with Tint By Day. They had the glass in stock. In/​out in less than an hour.
I will take any glass work to Tint by Day and Advanced Auto glass, no hesitation.

Brought my brand new 2014 mercedes here and Ryan did a great job. There is no knowledge on how to remove the door panels but Ryan had no pproblem and made sure to keep it with the new condition. He also made sure to educate me so my windows don’t get scratched. He had best reviews on Unilocal and it showed. Do not go anywhere else. ESPECIALLY THE PLACE ACROSS THE PARKING LOT

My Civic just turned over to 100,000 miles and I decided to give her a thank you present by getting the windows tinted. I chose Tint By Day because it was recommended to me by the body shop I have used and trusted for many years.
I had the work done in May ’13 and I am throughly pleased with the quality of the work, in fact I wish I had done this years ago. The customer service is outstanding and has everything to do with why the quality of the work is so high. Ryan really listened to what it was I wanted, told me his professional thoughts on the options and provided the information I needed to make my decisions regarding the tint amount and the type of material applied. The follow-​through after the tint was great also with his offer to check the windows after three days (the curing time) and clear instructions on maintenance. Highly recommend!

Great customer service, high quality job, and one of the most efficient shops for those who are busy and need to be accomodated for a tight work schedule. The customer service experience was amazing.
My experience started with a phone call asking about the type of film used, quote, and if they had time the same day or the next. They fit me in that morning, Awesome!
When I arrived, Ryan popped his head out and guided me over as he just talked to me on the phone and remember my make/​model.
Ryan was super nice, asked qualifying questions about the work that was about to be performed, and I even was able to add on clear covers for my headlights and fog lights to protect them from rock chips. He didn’t try to sell me on that, I asked about it myself. He did not pressure me on any products, just informed me and let me decide for myself.
We then headed to the office to check out some window swatches to see what fit my wants for this car. He asked if I had an antenna in the back window of my car, which I do, and that would need a specific type of window tint so it doesn’t interfere with radio signal. He let me know it would take a while to get the job done, and I was fine with that.
I decided to wait in the office and catch up on some work while using there free wi-​fi.
The experience was smooth from beginning to end. I will happily recommend Tint by Day, not to be confused with the Stereo Shop next door who also offers window tinting and noticed they were not as busy as Tint by Day.
The reputation of being in the glass business for 15+ years shows with the experience the workers had, the questions they knew to ask without hesitation, and the calm demeanor they all had.
The culture was comfortable to be around and enjoyed the free coffee and microwave while waiting.
Definitely a great experience!

Ryan really did a great job on my 528i BMW. The car now looks much better, and he knew exactly what kind of tint to use on the rear window as to not affect radio reception. A+

Brought my 2007 Silverado for a treat to lightly tint my front windows after getting new wheels. The owners are super, super nice and very honest! They are definitely the best in town. I’d definitely go there again if needed.

10 years ago I’d follow Ryan to each tinting business he was employed by. I believe there were 2 over the many years. Then a few years back he opened his own business and his work continues to be second to none!

I’ve had four of my own personal cars tinted by Ryan at Tint By Day as well as two referrals I sent them. I noticed Ryan’s attention to detail on my first vehicle when he was able to put the tint film to the very top edge of my side windows. I thought this was amazing because most tint jobs I’ve seen on other cars have at least an 1/​8″ gap at the top because the window scrolls up into the felt at the top of the door. Every car tinted by TBD since then has the film go to the edge.
Another thing to mention, I have never gotten a bubble. This includes places where they had to disclaim that there is a chance of getting bubbles like on the eyebrow tint on my windshield where there was already shade dots on the glass from the manufacturer. I can’t sing enough praises for Tint By Day. Ryan (and one employee the last time I was there) has been my ‘go to’ tint company since the 90’s and I would follow him anywhere.
Addressing business practices: Another reviewer mentioned their experience when getting quotes from Tint By Day as well as the neighboring business. Because I respect Tint By Day’s opinion I have asked where they recommend I could go to get some car audio work done. They did not recommend their neighbors but instead suggested a business down the street. I understand business relationships and how it’s difficult to partner with certain companies so I did not take their less than positive review of the neighbors against them. This being said I recommend to TBD that they be as careful as possible with their words and let their work and their customer’s reviews tell the whole story.

Super nice work on my car and gave me a discount on my deductible just because! The tint has lasted three yrs now and looks better that the manufacturing tint. Don’t let the fact that they are in the same parking lot as Sham Masters (Cartunes) distract you… These guys are great!

These guys are awesome! I took my Jeep in for a quote and they told me on the spot how much it would cost and how long it would take. I set up an appointment right away. I took it in first thing and was expecting to pick it up at the end of the day but they got it done way sooner than I had expected. It looks awesome now. Dave really hooked me up and improved the ‘hottness’ of my jeep. I will deff go back here for any future cars I need tented and will make sure to refer all my friends here.
