Sean Wilson graduated in 2000 from the highly regarded University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA, where he received a world class education in Dental Science. Directly after obtaining his degree, Dr. Wilson was the first graduate ever to receive a scholarship to the renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI).

Following post-​graduate studies in Las Vegas, Dr. Wilson was chosen from a large field of applicants to associate in the office of Dr. Jeff Morley in San Francisco. Dr Morley is the founder of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. The AACD is the largest organization dedicated to the art and science of cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Wilson engaged in clinical training including complete dental makeovers involving restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He became a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and therefore a student of the most respected dental clinicians in the world.

Sean Wilson’s practice philosophy, clear communications and superior skills were honed through a uniquely distinguished path. He excelled in the finest dental school and through years of post-​graduate training in esthetics, advanced dental implants and full mouth reconstructive dentistry.

Today, Dr. Wilson is a recognized speaker, trainer and author who contributes regularly to forward-​thinking professional dental organizations and journals. As an industry consultant, he tests new and innovative restorative materials for corporations including 3M.

Dr. Wilson began his career alongside of Dr. Morley, who is regarded as one of the foremost innovators of cosmetic procedures worldwide, a leader in the profession, and lecturer and teacher to dentists desiring to learn advanced clinical techniques. He worked with Dr. Morley for 5 years before relocating to Santa Rosa.

I first went to see Sean Wilson when he took over the patients of Dr David Etchell (he bought the practice from retiring Dr). Dr Etchell was truly great and one of a kind~ a very kind and generous man, with warm chair-​side manner. Well what a terrible shock to meet up with the complete opposite who bought his practice~ Dr Wilson. He was the most impatient and rude medical professional I have ever encountered. After a couple visits I never went back again. Like another reviewer mentioned, the staff turnover is high and of course a few years later now, most likely none of Dr Etchell’s former staff remains. I did find another dentist and that has worked out great, so great in fact that I hardly ever need to go! I wonder how he has so many 5 star reviews… I hope they are real: 0

I had the pleasure of having Dr. Wilson create two new front teeth for me this past spring. It was very hard entrusting any dentist to recreate a 31year old smile that at one time, was my favorite feature.
After a minor fall, I had injured my front tooth, which eventually turned brown. Years and years of bleaching it I decided to look for a dentist that could make me new front teeth. I was nervous to say the least!!!
Not only did Dr. Wilson make me beautiful new teeth, but he matched the color spot on. He worked with me to try out lots of different looks and finally decide on the one but he never rushed me and actually made me feel Important. Which is rare these days.
Now, I can’t stop smiling and showing off the smile I once was too self conscience to flash.
I’m so thankful for this wonderful experience and the opportunity to have a new smile that I love!
Thank you Dr. Wilson and staff for all that you did for me!

Office finally called me back 3 days later (after I left 2 voice mails msgs) to let me know they had received my cancellation message. I also think it is inappropriate for Anitta G. to be leaving a Unilocal review for an office that she manages. Especially since she seems to be part of the problem.

Super Gentle best At Cosmetic Dentistry…
I have always been super into my teeth and we moved here I googled cosmetic dentist found him online. He has won multiple awards for as BEST COSMETIC DENTIS IN SONOMA COUNTY. He’s super friendly personable.

I used to really like this place before they changed the staff. The secretary is SO RUDE! They need to have a serious training in customer service. They don’t offer nitrous oxide or have any TVs. I really like being able to watch a movie to distract me from the procedure.

I was in the process of searching for a dentist, and I was determined to find a good fit. I have had some bad experiences with other dentists in the past who were unethical and did a terrible job, and that I had to get corrections for. In addition I am new to the area where I currently live and had no recommendations from friends or family. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff who explained the process to me and how to fill out the paperwork. They even meet as a team in the morning to discuss their patients in detail-​I have not seen this in a dentists office before! Very impressive detailed attention for each patient. I needed an exam and my night guard examined, and Dr. Wilson went over my X-​rays and pictures with me. Thankfully I did not need a new night guard and my teeth were fine. Dr. Wilson was extremely knowledge and friendly, I would highly recommend him to anyone!!! Call their office today!

Dr. Wilson is everything you would want in a dentist. Professional, personable, knowledgeable, and understanding. It’s easy to get an appointment even on short notice and his staff is superb in the way of patient relations and assisting the doctor chair side. I would never switch to another dentist. Even if I moved over an hour away. Great work, phenomenal vibe, and fairly priced. This is where your mouth should be cared for.

I really like this office, the staff and Sean. I’m nervous and crazy anxious about anything related to dental visits and pain. :) The staff are really nice about me being a big silly baby. Anyway, they are all great. When I first went there I really liked that Sean spent some time with me, looked at my jaw and teeth alignment. He spent probably a half hour just going over my chart, asking questions, looking at the x-​rays. He takes time to answer questions and go over your treatment. I’ve actually never had a dentist do much in checking how my jaw felt when it opened and closed and how it aligned. My orthodontist did for sure, but never a dentist. Anyway, it impressed me that he’s really concerned about getting your teeth aligned correctly. I’ve had a couple of crowns done at this office and they are really great about making sure I don’t feel anything. :) I’ve already recommended several people here because I like it so much.

Okay, I HATE going to the dentist. But Dr. Wilson makes things easier. He is very confident, quick and fully competent, and this office is extremely friendly and accommodating. I love his receptionist, she is amazing and has even gone as far as to say she would watch my baby for me while I got my teeth cleaned!!! Of course I didn’t take her up on her offer, but the fact that she offered just proves how awesome and down to earth these folks are. I also love the hygienist she is really friendly, efficient, quick and you can tell she loves her job. P. S. I have had to cancel and reschedule many times, sometimes last minute and they have always waived the fee.

My wife and I are really excited we were referred to this dentist. We moved into the area not to long ago and we were looking for a new family dentist. A co worker of my wife recommended Dr. Wilson, we are glad he did. Like most people I do not enjoy going to the dentists office, Kayla in the reception office must have sensed that because she was so nice and made me feel at ease. When we went back to the chair Dr. Wilson had an amazing chair side manner, we talked for a bit before the work which further put me at ease. He was gentle with my teeth and my wife had the same type of experience. We have a new family dentist for years to come!

I’m so glad I found an awesome dentist I can put my trust in, Dr. Wilson and his dental hygienist Melanie are the best! 4 yrs ago I came to his office with 8 cavities (and yes I brush and floss) after getting that taken care of and through their cleaning and recommendations I have had 1 tiny cavity since that time that Dr. Wilson took care of in about 20 painless minutes.

Don’t go anywhere else! Dr. Wilson is the best. I was terrified of getting my wisdom tooth pulled, he did it was quickly and it was painless. He also knew how badly it was hurting me prior to getting it extracted, and he saw me the same day. I really appreciated that. All of the employees were extremely nice, and helped me not be nervous. Great dentist, great staff, great atmosphere. I never thought I would love going to the dentist so much, it was an enjoyable experience. I have sent my friends in when they needed wisdom teeth pulled, and they all said the same things. I will always refer people to him, no matter what. I will always keep going back whenever I need dental attention also!

Best dentist I’ve ever had. Hadn’t been to the dentist in like five years until I went to Sean and my teeth are in probably the best shape they’ve ever been in now. Not only is he a good guy he goes above and beyond to make sure his patients are well taken care of and comfortable. Before coming to see Dr. Wilson (and his fabulous hygienist, Melanie) I hadn’t been to the dentist in 10 years because I had a terrible phobia of dental care. (I’m an acupuncturist, so that’s kind of ironic.) I went in to see Dr. Wilson because he specializes in taking care of people who are afraid of dentists, and I wasn’t disappointed. I now actually look forward to my visits to his office to get my teeth cleaned by Melanie – this from a person who used to spend the whole day before a dental visit freaking out! I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Wilson and his terrific staff.

Like Jen G. I’ve been in the Dental Business for a while. I have quite a few to choose from as well but Dr. Sean’s my dentist. I also drive to Santa Rosa from SF for my appointments. I can honestly say that I actually look forward to my dental visits. Why? Because he explains his treatment plans to me thoroughly (uses Digital X-​Ray which gives me a great picture of what’s actually going on) and plans them out so that my insurance can help pay for them as much as possible. He’s also a pretty cool dude. Ummm… my Unilocal picture was taken before I went to his office. ;)

We live in Modesto & make the trip to Santa Rosa because he is the best dentist in ever way. He is all about detail, explaining the process every step of the way, consumate professional making sure that you are comfortable with your treatment plan. We are completely satisfied & would recommend Dr. Wilson to anyone that cares about quality dental care. By the way Sean is a great guy too!

I’ve been a dental professional since 1994 so I know a lot of good dentists in the Bay Area. I could go to any one of those dentists, but Dr. Wilson is my favorite! He has been my dentist since I met him in San Francisco in 2000. I still live in San Francisco but I drive to Santa Rosa to see him for my dental appointments. I like how he takes the time to explain treatment options and answer any questions I may have. Also, he doesn’t go see other patients in different rooms during my treatment so he’s much more focused on my needs than other dentists I’ve seen. He’s never in a hurry and his work shows it. Very meticulous! He’s really funny too and we talk about non-​dental stuff like wine, food and music. That makes my visits really fun, not just another dental appointment. Dr. Wilson’s just a cool guy who happens to be an amazing dentist too! I highly recommend him!
