Robert W Erlach, DDS

Dr. Erlach was the dentist who put veneers on my top front teeth several years ago. I have since moved to Reno.
I went to my new dentist today, who is one of the top cosmetic dentist in the Reno area.
The staff at this new office: the X-​Ray tech, the teeth cleaning lady, and even my new dentist told me that my veneers looked remarkably natural, and who ever did the work did an outstanding job.
Thanks Dr. Erlach. I thought you did a great job, and today folks in your world that you have never met, went out of their way to compliment your work.
I guess if I ever need more cosmetic work done, I gotta come back to Santa Rosa!

Teresa at the front office set the hook for us. We had a negative experience with another Santa Rosa dentist and are on a tight budget. Teresa worked to get us in and worked with our insurer to help with payment. We have never had any of Dr. Erlach’s work replaced and he has a conservative approach toward dentistry. Heather is our hygienist and she’s great. Be sure to ask for the chicken stories.
Dr. Erlach is a great dentist with an incredible support team. Teresa is one of the best resources we’ve found in Santa Rosa. If she doesn’t know, she’ll research and get back to you.

Been with Fountaingrove since 1998 and just a quick and thankful message to all. The dental assistances and staff that work with Dr. Erlach know almost in advance his needs. All of the girls work together so well. For those who dislike needles, «never» has it been an issue. I am so happy that I found a good dentist… even more the «best» one as I would say.

We are lucky that Santa Rosa has so many wonderful Dental professionals. I work with many of them and am happy to call Dr. Erlach «My Dentist!» He has always treated me well and made sure I was informed about any treatment I needed.
His staff is always a pleasure to speak to and works hard to accomodate my busy schedule. Thanks again you guys! You Rock!

A friend referred me to Dr. Erlach three years ago. I am so happy that she did! When I came to Dr. Erlach I had quite a few areas to be address. In a nutshell, I would need multiple visits ranging from cavities to be filled to a crown and possible root canal. I appreciated the way he showed me my x-​rays and explained to me the areas of «high priority» down to least important. We came up with a «plan» that was realistic both as far as scheduling/​time, level of least discomfort and future visits.
The 1^st area to address was my incredibly painful tooth that would need a crown. I was very impressed with procedure and how fast I received my crown (I believe within days). I am not sure of the name but it is a new type a crown that can be fitted usually within a day and does not require the old school «banding». It literally looks like a real tooth! No band to hold it on, etc… I have literally made all of my friends look at it to how amazing it looks!
Over the next 3 months we took care of my multiple cavities and a few other things. Every time my visit was great. All of the staff are very nice and knowledgeable. The office is exceptionally clean and bright which makes a dentist visit more pleasant. My cavities were all filled with minimal discomfort and look and feel great.
And just this last Friday I chipped my front tooth badly! I called the office and they got me right in. Dr. Erlach was great in explaining to me that the chip was too big to just sand, but he did not feel it was large enough to warrant a veneer at this time. I am only 35 and was panicking at the thought of having my front tooth drilled away and a veneer put on. Dr. Erlach was brilliant! He somehow «patched» my tooth and it looks like nothing has ever happened. I really wish I could post a picture.
Again, he let me know that because it is patched so to speak that it would be only about 40% as strong as a real full tooth and because it is my front tooth over time it could potentially chip again– but we will cross that bridge if/​when it gets there. He explained that he didn’t want to go straight to a veneer because my teeth overall are healthy and my smile is very nice :-) To me this is so important that your dentist isn’t trying to «sell» you on something, but is also realistic of what future problems could arise.
I am so happy that Dr. Erlach is not only a great dentist with all of the latest procedures, etc. but with his cosmetic eye and specializing in cosmetic dentistry he knows exactly how to handle the technically and cosmetic procedures. You have the best of both worlds!
Do yourself a favor and go see him! You will be happy that you did.
