Doc Mac has been my dentist for about 12 years. Over time, I have replaced all my old fillings with new porcelain fillings, replaced several crowns and with the help of their staff my overall dental health has improved dramatically. I am a wimp in the dentist chair. I have extreme anxiety for any type of dental work. Doc Mac is compassionate and understanding and takes things slowly for me. Plus the results of the work are always excellent. When someone asks me to recommend a good dentist, I tell them «how about if I refer you to the BEST dentist in town?» So if you are looking for a new dental office in Sonoma County (Santa Rosa and environ) make sure you pick this one!

Dr McCormick & all his staff are kind, compassionate, patient, & very comforting. Dentistry is torture for me ~ their misdemeanor along with sedation has helped me to finally fix painful cavities & broken teeth in my mouth I suffered with for years. He also helped me understand a sinus problem I’ve had my entire life that I never knew was related to my teeth! I’m so glad a friend recommended his office.

DocMac has been the most professional, knowledgable and gentle dentist. I had a particularly bad episode with another dentist and I was anxious to ever even walk in a dental office. Then, I met Dr. McCormick. His manner is patient, genuinely compassionate and very kind. I would not hesitate to recommend the entire team at Dr. McCormick’s office as they all seem to exude the same level of genuine concern for their patients as DocMac.
By the way, the setting of the office is beautiful, with cozy blankets if you just need something to hug!

I am happy to sing the praises of Dr. McCormick and his staff. They were extremely sensitive, caring and professional and handled my complicated case with exactly the approach I was hoping for. I needed an implant near the front of my mouth and came to Dr. McCormick based on a referral from a friend. My situation required many more visits than anticipated and Dr. McCormick and staff were supportive every step of the way. They would only consider the implant complete when I expressed satisfaction. It was a time consuming process to get the correct shade and proper fit and the entire time I felt I was in excellent hands. In fact, I was so pleased with the professionalism and care I received that I decided to switch all my dental care to Dr. McCormick and I am so glad I did.

Had some work done today. Shelia assisted and she could not have been more warm and caring. Glad to have her by my side. Had a happy pill and no pain after ward. Thanks DocMac! Great experience for someone who doesn’t like dental work.

I can’t say enough about Dr. McCormick and his staff. Absolutely excellent dentistry and the staff is all super friendly. He took me in on an emergency appointment and provided a solution for me the very same day. He took into consideration my dental, history, my feelings about my smile and my financial situation. He is continuing to provide me with EXCELLENT (the most thorough I’ve ever had) care in a supportive and friendly environment.

Love this office, staff, and location. They are not only very professional, but kind and genuine. If you’re looking for great dental care in a lovely environment this is the place. I will take a «spa like» dental office over a «strip mall» experience any day.

I have been going to Dr. McCormicjk for a long time. Was referred to him by a good friend. You are always skeptical when going to someone new. They made me feel at home the very first time I went to them. Everyone is so friendly from the moment you call to leaving. The front desk is always eager to help if there has been a insurance issue. You pay up front and they bill your insurance so you receive the check. for your portion. If you having something done they always let you know the amount a head of time so there are no surprises. For long appointments, I have been able to watch movies or listen to music. They always make sure you are comfortable. Lorie is a great dental hygienist and makes coming in a pleasure for your teeth cleanings. Always lets me know the newest research on what is going to keep my gums and teeth healthy.
Dr. McCormick is very honest with you and does not try to up sell his services. He let’s you know what he thinks should be done. He is very professional and personable knows his patients very well. There was a situation where I needed to do a same day appointment and they were able to accomodate me. You also have great views of Santa Rosa. In my experience, Dr. McCormick’s office is the best dentist and I highly recommend him.

Dr. McCormick is great at what he does! I came to him at 46 when I was new to Sonoma County! I am now in my sixties! He is gentle and skillful. His standards are high. If you are looking for someone who cares about you and your health he, and his always friendly and knowledgeable staff

Dr. McCormick has been my dentist the past couple of years. My wife has gone to Dr. McCormick for over a dozen years. He’s an excellent practitioner with great technique. All of my treatments have been pain free. Visits for cavity fillings, a root canal, three replacement caps, and extensive cleanings have all been smooth sailing. I’ve used over a dozen dentists since 1960 and truly believe that «Andy» McCormick is one of the best.

Dr. McCormick and his staff are wonderful. The environment is soothing and calm. You can’t beat the view when you are having work done, you can watch a lot of wildlife out the window. The staff are really friendly and if you are anxious, they do their best to keep you calm and feeling safe. I have never had to wait very long but their waiting room is lovely. Dr. McCormick and his staff donate through a «Free Dental Day» where they provide emergency dental care to those that cannot afford it otherwise.

Ever since I was a young kid, I’ve had chronic gum problems. While my prior dentists were unable to correct this problem, Dr. McCormick, fortunately, was able to correct the correct this problem. After a few sessions with Dr. McCormick and his dental hygienists, sessions in which they performed laser treatment on my gums and detailed a plan to improve my oral health (switching mouthwashes from Listerine to Closys, etc., purchasing a smaller toothbrush head), the health of my gums drastically improved.
Dr. McCormick’s office has the most advanced dental equipment and the most hospitable a well-​informed staff. If you’re unhappy with your current dentist, I highly recommend switching to Dr. McCormick. I made the switch in 2007 and have been very happy with my decision.

I had DR. McCormick for years since I was about 18. He used to have a really down to earth place near the Safeway on 4^th. Then he moved to Fountaingrove and it just got bad from there. He had a waiting area became a fancy lounge and all of the exam rooms have sweeping views of Santa Rosa. Great– except I have a very strong fear of heights. I spoke with reception about this, but they seemed unconcerned. They also raised their fees after moving there which makes him one of the most expensive dentists in town. I also don’t like how I was charged an extra fee just to see the dentist for 5 minutes. There is an extra 45 bucks on the bill. Really, is it too much to ask that when I go to the dentist to actually see one. That being said he is a very nice guy which perhaps too much of a head for making money– not helping patients. I eventually switched to someone who made me feel more at home than going to a spa.
