If i could give it 0 stars; i would. I dealt with Jamie Flynn — a loan assistant — who said was going to work on our loan application and seriously, NOTHING but BROKEN PROMISES with her. You couldn’t even have her call you back because she was so disorganized! I can’t believe that i trusted her upon our first time talking over the phone. I literally had to call her every day to get an update! Rude and unprofessional. Also, she was her boss’s PUPPY! He said jump, she’d jump. He said hang up the phone while on a call with a client, she would hang up! What happened to customers come first!!! If you have a complicated loan application, Jamie IS NOT FOR YOU! go somewhere else!!!

in my dealings with this company the numbers never added up correctly. it seems that a. $ 2000.00 cost could not be explained? still their desire to ”get to the bank” as soon as possible seemed to be their answer. all mortgage companies want to go to the bank so they can charge $ 400 to $ 500.00 for an appraisal fee for your house – they not only get a ”kick back” on the appraisal but once someone pays that amount they do not want to back out of the loan as they would loose that fee. i may have fallen off the turnip truck– but i did not land on my head and it was not yesterday. they were nice and friendly– for $ 2,000 i can also be very nice and friendly– oh i know where that cost for $ 2,000.00 was– in my opinion it was in their back pocket.

I cant believe they are still in business with all the people they have taken advantage of.

Priority Lending truly did make my home loan process feel like a priority and made it happen seamlessly. Mel Fox is a wizard! She came highly recommended to me from a dear friend who just got his home though her. My realtors confirmed she was the best and as I move into my new fabulous home I can gratefully attest that Mel and her team at Priority Lending are magicians!!! They went above and beyond and all I did was follow instructions every step of the way. I qualified for $ 100k more than I thought was possible and it is entirely due to Mel and her magic wand. If you want to get a home loan and question your ability to qualify I highly recommend Mel Fox. She will get it done for you!

Jeff was great in walking me through the refi process. Helped me figure out ways to increase FICO to get even better rate. Explained each document and step in the process. Highly recommended. They are my go to refi co.

This is probably the worst company i have ever encountered, They guaranteed a loan said no closing costs after months said oh we cant get it approved.
Now we need a big down payment and 20 grand for closing.
I almost lost my deal i had a option that i had to close on time. in the last hour they came up with a hard money loan at 12 percent. fin thiefs
I went across the street to redwood credit union and closed within thirty days at 4 percent. They will lie right to your face and if you can not afford a lawyer get away with it.

Mel Fox is amazing. She worked with a complicated and multi faceted loan and made it work with professional aplomb, attention to detail and imagination. I will use Mel for any and all complicated loans that I come upon.

Usually when you are upset with a place and want to give them 0 stars Unilocal doesn’t let you. You have to give a minimum of one star. I have a reverse problem. I want to give Mel Fox from Priority Lending 10 stars. But Unilocal will only allow five. But just that you all know Mel is really a Ten Star class act.
Four years ago I tried to refinance my mortgage and went through a few people that made promises and delivered nothing. After four months of frustration Mel took over my file and did what seemed impossible. She got me a refinance loan for my home and that was in spite of the fact that my credit was not good and I had no employment income. At that time I called her a miracle maker. Fast forward to today. Interest rates went down and my credit went up so I decided to refinance again. Calling Mel was a no brainer. I knew if anyone can do it, it will be her. Sure enough I got a new loan still without employment income. For me Mel is a miracle maker so I call her My Angel. Because of her wonderful work my financial life is now so much better (which makes everything else also so much better). Not only that she got me a refinance at a better rate she also got me cash out of $ 50,000 more than I expected. So it’s obvious that I am happy, but I just want everyone to know that Mel is very pleasant, very polite and very patient. She worked very hard for my loan and did not stop even when she was on vacation out of town. She is very responsive and replied very fast to all my emails. She is very detailed and followed up with everyone she needed to on all the details to make sure my loan will be approved.
I also have a good word for Priority Lending as an organization. Mel was my one point contact and I did not have to deal with anyone else which is really a plus. Every time I called on the phone an Actual Person answered the phone, never a computer. I never waited more than three rings before they answered and they were always very polite and helpful.
So if you need a loan don’t think twice, just call Mel, I recommend it, you’ll be happy you did.

I worked with Mel Fox on my home loan. We had a few snags along the way, as I’m sure happens in pretty much every loan transaction as a lot goes into it. Over all I was satisfied with the service I received and we got approved & are now living in our first home. I didn’t end up paying any «hidden» fees as others stated, they were up front with what I would be paying. Mel was fast, efficient and friendly. We found the home we wanted before our preapproval came in & Mel helped us get our preapproval from home on her day off, to me that is going way above and beyond the normal scope of the job.

Tami was a great help, i really enjoyed working with her.
if i ever need a loan again i will make sure that i talk to her.

I had a great experience with this company! I bought a house in 2010 through Priority. Bodhi, the VP was my agent and loan officer. He could not have been more helpful. On day one he let me know what to expect with the process of buying my first home. He totally held my hand through the whole thing. If he was unable to get back to me quickly for any reason he had his assistant Marcy, or Felicia call me. We closed the loan on time despite a few surprises on my credit report that I thought I had previously dealt with. I got a great house at a great rate. I recommend them to everyone I know.
Three years later in early 2013 interest rates dropped to rediculously low levels. they were able to refinance me into a 30 year fixed at 3.25% The out of pocket expense was minimal and the refi saved me tens of thousands throughout the life of the loan.
I neglected to mention that my sister in law is in the business. I had her analyze the closing documents before signing. She was a little put out that I didn’t go with her company, but admitted that she could not have gotten me a better deal.

TERRIBLE! These people are so shady, we also dealt with their «top producer» Mel Fox. We had the same experience as the other reviewers, hidden fees, costs and very rude. Lesson learned!

Yikes. I would not do business with this company. I worked with their «top producer». I was buying my first home and did this woman try to take advantage of me!!! After the first go round, I left with a loan .75% above par. This doesn’t sound like much, but translated to over 100k more over the life of the loan. After I educated myself about mortgages I went back into to neogociate-​and ended up with another high interest loan. This woman did not look out for my bet interest– she just wanted my money. I ended up going to another lender and saving 160K on the loan. Please educated yourself about loans and mortgages– it saved me!!!

Wow, what a nightmare doing business with this company’s real estate division, Purchase One. Best description would be unetical business practices. WE recently purchased a property from Broker Bhodi Kraus. Very unpleasant experience. With monies already invested in this deal at the time of closing he throws in a $ 995.00 additional fee to cover the expense for his assistant to do the paper work, for us to pay. Never was this discussed, agreed upon or put in writing, yet he would not sign off on the deal until we did so. Mind you, we paid 1000.00 for escrow plus 500.00 apprasial fee, and already handed over the down payment when we went to sign escrow papers at the close of business day Friday on the expiration day of the banks acceptance of our offer when this was thrown at us. With our backs to the wall and unable to recoup what we’ve already spent, we had no choice but to provide an additional cashier check of 995.00 or walk away with nothing but a loss. Our agent refused to call and speak with him becaused she said he was a screamer and she didn’t want to put up with that. I will never do business with anyone attached to this company or man. They have opened another real estate coompany downstairs call Home Smart Advantage so they can dupe peoople into thinking they are doing business with a different company. Public beware, you’ve been warned!
