We bring our expertise to you, utilizing the latest in electronic key machines and programmers to assure you of the highest quality keys and service. Our mobile locksmith van can service specialty automotive keys like: Jaguar, Lexus, VW/​Audi, Saab, BMW, Porche, some Volvos and most other manufactures. Motorcycle keys are our specialty also. I purchased Mobilock Security in 2002. Prior to that it was owned by the family that started it.

My Saab story ended last week in Sebastopol when Erik met me in a large parking lot after being towed from the Mendocino Coast… he spent almost 3 hours reprogramming my 9 – 5 Saab’s twice module — a feat he alone can do! My options were to tow to a dealership in San Rafael or San Francisco and pay $ 1,600 to $ 2,200 and have the module replaced and reprogrammed, or let him shine his geek light under the driver’s seat (after he removed it) and get me back on the road for hundreds of dollars less through his computer skills! NEVER EVER drive a Saab without having two keys — it’s ridiculously expensive and unnecessarily complex… no wonder Saab’s precision and sophistication is so notorious — UGH! Thank you Erik for your consummate proficiency and co-​operative spirit and thank you for my new keys!

What could have been a pretty awful situation with a car full of groceries — and my keys — sitting in the hot sun turned into a surprisingly easy fix. Mike showed up in a flash and within minutes had the door open and me on my way home to refrigerate the perishables. I’m not saying that it was fun to lock my keys, but it could have been so much more of an annoyance. Super friendly, professional & reasonably priced.

As a person with no male counterpart to accompany me to get car repairs, buy cars, etc (it’s a new status for me – I am widowed) I really really appreciate being treated fairly when I spend money wrt anything automobile. Recently I’ve needed to deal with some things automotive.
I needed an extra auto key for a car. I spoke with several locksmiths and got quite differing prices, one of them seemed, even in my uninformed opinion, pretty steep. If they responded at all, I think locksmiths are pretty busy people.
Finally another local company «Mattlock» responded kindly that he did not do auto but recommended Eric at Mobilock highly. I’m glad I called him. Anymore I genuinely value my time as much as my money and it may as well be spent pleasantly.
Eric was responsive and reasonably priced. He exuded trust. He was prompt and created my key, gave me some good advice for the future of my car and after the past couple weeks dealing with car issues I didn’t feel financially and psychically drained.
I recommend this company for its emotional intelligence, prices, and integrity.

My absolute HERO! I also want to say he is my knight in shining amour and every other wonderful names I can throw out. I say this because I brilliantly locked my keys in my trunk. By doing this the way I did and with the car I own, it is almost next to impossible to get into the car. The car’s security doubles up when you try to have AAA come out and go thru the window to try and unlock. By the way, I have not mentioned I was stuck in Gualala with my purse in the car. I called Eric and he assured me he could help. He came all the way from Santa Rosa to Gualala to help me. His wife accompanied him on his long drive and they both were the nicest, kindest people. I will never use anyone else and trust him completely. I don’t remember the last time or if I have ever written a review for someone on Unilocal.But this was a situation where I want to shout from the roof tops.

Total life savers! From the second I called, the person on the other line was so nice and helpful, got me in contact with a locksmith as soon as he was available. I had lost my car key and didn’t have a spare, and I was stuck at work with no other way to get home. They quickly gave me a quote, came to my workplace in less than 20 mins because the locksmith was nice enough to squeeze me in. He made the key in 20 mins and I was on my way, he even takes card.

I had an issue with our 2001 Toyota Tacoma where the key would not insert all the way into the ignition. Gave Eric a call and as I was describing the problem he said «you don’t happen to have a Toyota do you?»
Eric warned me upfront when the key doesn’t insert all the way there’s a possibility he’d have to drill out the ignition assembly, thus destroying a pretty expensive part. He told me he’d do everything he could to try an avoid that scenario.
Eric showed up on time and went to work. In less than an hour he had solved the problem, without having to destroy the original part. Then, he rebuilt the part, eliminating Toyota’s faulty design! I’m pretty sure he saved me a boat load of dough!
Eric was super easy to work with, honest and communicated excellent throughout the entire process.
I Highly Recommend using his services.

I lost my transponder key to my VW and was totally freaked-​out from talking to dealers and researching solutions on-​line.
Eric was out to my place in a couple of hours time. When he saw that I had an older key he said that he could put a chip in it and make it work. He ended up charging me only half what I expected to pay for programing the new key.
He knows his stuff… Great Guy.

Mobilock did everything I wanted them to do, and at such fast pace I didn’t even catch the locksmith’s name.
I knew cutting the key for my VW would be pricey, but he saved me from towing to the dealership and was actually cheaper in charging as well; also came same day and on time.
Moral of the story is, don’t listen when dealerships say they are the only ones who can cut and program keys, and their rates are final. This goes for every car related issue but that’s another rant altogether.

I needed to have my house re– keyed.
He quoted me over the phone and estimate was reasonable. He showed up in 15 minutes (!) –a record for responsiveness; and he was done in less than 30 minutes-​even though I needed double the amount of locks re-​keyed. Plus he did a few extras to two different doors because they weren’t closing properly –at N/​C.
It’s a simple service, but it doesn’t get much better than this for responsiveness, good quality work at a fair price, and professional service.

Traveling through town, I called Eric. If not for him I would have been stranded. He had the part in stock. showed up on time and did the work in the time he stated. Then totally took care of me making sure I the right keys that were not worn out. He was on time, nice and did a clean job that was properly priced. Others in the area had quoted 3 times as long for the same job and I had to supply the part. Eric at Mobilelock Security ROCKS!!!
