This is usually our standby place if we want a change of pace for breakfast. Haven’t been here in a few months. Today’s meal was disappointing– blackstone Benedict was cold and bland. Ditto with the hash browns. My son ordered pancakes and husband Spanish omelet — same opinion. We might give it one more try to decide if we keep it on the list or nix it. Service was with a smile but slow and forgetful. So sorry to report this as it used to be better.

As fun as it was listening to all of the waitresses complain about their personal lives and customers(while the customers were in the same room) I would have rather done it over better food. Here are some quotes: 1 «ugh, so stupid. I have to make them shakes.» 2 «time to go home yet? Ugh, not even close» 3 «I’m so over this» But enough about the service, let’s get to the food. The hot chocolate was so incredibly not hot. My waffle showed up cold. Not hot, not warm, but cold. The waitress set it down and before she could even walk away it was clear that it couldn’t have melted butter if I was eating it on the sun. This place will be easily forgotten.

Quick review. The good: solid, old style breakfast. The bad: supervisor on shift was arguing with staff and threatening one of them with consequences if they didn’t get it together(everyone could hear this). waited for the check, but didn’t come(supervisor was my server and seemed distracted); so put down a $ 20 after ten minutes and left.

I love their breakfast menu, I’d eat just about anything from it. I don’t usually order anything from the lunch or dinner menus. But my boyfriend loves the sandwiches, fish n’ chips, and a few other things. I plan on trying more on the menu, I’d love to check out the dinner options! Overall, staff is great! And food is really good.

Finally ate here for Sunday brunch. I got the eggs Benedict, and the house potatoes, and the quality was really good. Potatoes were fresh, tasty, and done just right. My son got the berry crepes, and they were delicious! Great little place to eat, friendly, attentive staff, nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

The list is short for where were for a wedding in June. This place had more stars so why not? The waffle was yummy. Crispy outside and soft inside. The eggs and bacon were also cooked to my liking. The husbands berry crêpe was a sugar hill mountain of crazy. It was not enough for him to eat(he has a huge appetite) so he had to get an additional side. Best believe though that is was all gone… be forewarned it is a lot of whipped cream. The coffee was also on point. The soy latte was perfect and a great way to start the morning. Perfect foam yes. The décor is cute. highly recommend as a pit stop.

I just love this place, and the servers. Beware, it’s a diner, not a restaurant. Maybe it’s not a place fire filet mignon but eggs and potatoes that are better than a chain restaurant like denny’s…yes please! I like that when I ask for a glass of water with no ice and a lemon, they get it right. Hash browns super crispy, can do! Obviously the server writes it down and apparently the kitchen reads it! Glorious. Odd how often other restaurants can’t handle those two requests. I’m picky, and I still like this place. 5 stars.

Solid 4 stars. Food, selection, service. Old standby, very consistent, still call it Kal’s from original owner. Super breakfast particularly after a serious boot camp workout at the Airport Club. Staff’s very friendly, responsive. Lots of comfortable booths(I’m a booth guy). Go here and you will be happy!

Kaffe Mocha is what I would call a «very predictable restaurant.» After eating here, you would know what I’m talking about. Think about a Denny’s or a Bob Evans… a traditional American menu, with breakfast options, salads, sandwiches, burgers, pastas, desserts etc. The food is okay, but nothing that stands out. I ordered the crispy chicken wrap with a side of pasta salad. Honestly, the wrap reminded me of the wraps I used to order from the food courts at Indiana University. Those wraps were okay, but they were also what could be expected from a food court. My co-worker ordered the turkey and ham sandwich, which is the restaurant«special.» I think his sandwich looked pretty good, and was probably better than the wrap. If I were to come back here(which may be a possibility for lunch sometime), I may order this sandwich. Overall, I would say this restaurant isn’t bad, but I wouldn’t expect too much either. Maybe you just have to order the right things.

Came here for birthday breakfast last week. Mind you it was my mothers choice. Anyway let’s start with food. The food was great. Everything was prepared well and in a timely fashion. Our server was so very sweet and nice and brought everything out very quick. But it was the service afterward that lacked. The servers noticed our empty wear glasses for quite some time and didn’t stop to ask if we need to be refilled. Also waiting for our check was very slow. The servers could clearly see that we were done eating and waiting for the check, especial since we were waiting and looking at them to give the hint to come check on us. Well that didn’t work for a while. Food is good, servers are very very nice but service is lacking.

Great breakfast burrito! Friendly staff even on a Sunday! Big enough servings to split. Conveniently located next to the movie theater so you can hop on over for a matinée after your meal. Sunday well spent!

Typical diner food. A bit pricey for the quality and selection. Good, friendly service. Décor could use a little help. Decent portions.

The food was okay. I got the tilapia plate and it was decent. The fish was bland, but the salsa that the fish had on it was tasty. The cuisine was confusing because the fish had salsa as if it were mexian food, but the tilapia dish came with a choice of two kinds of potatoes and overly buttered and salted veggies. Again Mexican or American dish. Not sure. The flavors did not really match in the dish too. Salty veggies and bland fish. Not the best. maybe next time I will try the breakfast because the seating is very nice.

The servers are lovely! So kind and accommodating. The kale salad was sparse on the kale — though the cruciferous combination of raw kale, broccoli, red and green cabbage and red onion was pleasant enough. Skipped the cow milk feta and orange poppyseed dressing. The added salmon was hardly edible: fishy, greasy, overcooked and oversalted. The kale salad with salmon was absolutely not worth $ 16.90 plus tax. On that note — per the menu, adding salmon to a salad costs $ 5.95. But the owner insists on charging $ 6.95 — despite what is printed on every menu. He trained three servers on this bait-and-switch tactic right before my eyes. Fix the menu or charge the advertised price, buddy. And make sure your fish is fresh and properly cooked.

I was surprised. The menu is giant(Gordon Ramsay would be appalled), just TOO much! We had breakfast. My friend had the delicate Florentine crepes. Really nice. I had the Blackstone Eggs Benedict(tomato instead of ham and crumbled bacon on top). My eggs were cooked to order and yummy. I’ll come back!

I always drive by this place and wonder about it, so I finally tried it out. For a small town diner, not too bad at all. They have a HUGE menu which usually makes me suspicious of how fresh all of the food is, but to be honest even the kale salad(from a diner it sounds questionable) was fresh. I had the airport supreme sandwich which was served hot and the bread was perfectly crispy. The fries were ok, too thick cut for me and obviously were just frozen and reheated. My brother had the spinach omelette which was also very good, but the onions could have been cooked a little longer. And my dad’s kale salad, as I said before, was surprisingly fresh and tasty! The service was decent, nothing terrible but no «WOW» factor. Best part about this place: Breaktfast is served all day!
