History

Established in 1997.

Beyond Graphics was started in 1997 by Beth Hatch. Beth originally worked in the Real Estate market as a Realtor. She decided to start designing her own flyers and postcards and realized that she loved Graphic Design. In 2012, Jules Schaafsma joined the Beyond Graphics team and became the owner in 2013. In 2015, Beyond Graphics was renamed JD Schaafsma Designs.

Jules Schaafsma brings many years of Graphic Design and Marketing experience to JD Schaafsma Designs (Beyond Graphics). Jules’ diverse studies extend beyond Graphic Design. Her years of work in Interior Design, Architecture, Landscape Design and Staging lend to her ability to understand and market Real Estate. In addition, Jules has many years of merchandising experience in the Wellness, Spa, Hospitality and Natural/​Gourmet Foods industries.
