Wonderful wonderful service!!! Phil was patient and accommodating. I felt much more comfortable here than any experience at an Apple Store.

I have been a lifelong Apple User. And my iMac ate it’s hard drive. Core suggested a solid state replacement and updated my operating system. I always have my data backed up, so no problem on that front. Service, timing and price were as advertised…

Fabulous!!! Came to my house to help with issues on my network. Spent an hour telling me I couldn’t do what I wanted with (technology does not exist yet) but then told me how I could get close and do it myself. Because they didn’t do anything specific for me, they didn’t charge me. You’re kidding right? Honest, good old fashion kindness + ethics.

I just couldn’t recommend Phil highly enough! He is pleasant, professional, skilled, patient, and honest. I took my MacBook Pro there when it stopped working, and he gave me a free estimate, took the time to explain what repair was needed, and helped me get my data back. Plus, his rates are extremely reasonable, and it feels great to support a local! I’ve recommended him to many of my friends who’ve had issues with their Macs, and he’s now my go-​to person.

Thanks to Unilocal,I was able to find the best Apple Technician in Santa Rosa. Philip at Core Help was very helpful in diagnosing my sister’s failing MacBook monitor and helping me decide that a replacement was in order. While he would have made money on the repair, his suggestion to consider replacement is the suggestion we are going with. No cost for the diagnostic and a professional demeanor to boot — This guy is worth his weight in gold!

We had a major issue with my wife’s computer that The Genius Bar at the Apple Store (and I use that term loosely) was not able to help — in fact they totally messed her new Mac Air up when transferring data;
Since Phil has transferred data on 2 of my previous computers flawlessly, I took her MacBook Air over to him and he restored her new one to exactly replicate the one she sold. I’d never go to the genius bar again at the Apple store and always go to Phil instead.

The uniformly high rating that Core Help gets is well-​deserved. We have an old, but good MacPro tower that was running on the original operating system. It had begun to crash a lot and some sites were no longer accessible.
Philip Fornaciari was terrific. His suggestions were detailed, very clear, and aimed at the best results for me, not the most profitable results for him. I weighed the options, bought some additional RAM and upgraded to Mavericks. My problems have disappeared (apart from a learning curve in adjusting to upgraded software).
This man runs a totally honorable business and he knows what he’s talking about. I can’t imagine dealing with anyone else in the future!

Nothing but good things to say about Phil at Core Help. I had a 10 year old G3 tower that finally died, with all my music and pictures onboard. Phil was able to recover and transfer the data at a very reasonable cost. He is a very direct communicator and met all of his promises. I can highly recommend him.

When my 3-​year-​old MacBook Pro stopped working and the Genius Bar at Apple told me that I needed a new hard-​drive, I panic. And, I committed the cardinal sin of not backing up all my data. I was at a lost for weeks trying to figure out how to live without a computer. Then, I found CoreHelp and it was the best money spend in a very long time. Phillip was a true professional, very knowledgeable of the problem and provided me with a solution. My MacBook Pro was back! He not only upgraded my laptop with a new hard-​drive, but he also recovered all the data from the old one and installed it on the new one. Genius!!! And he did all of this in less than a week! If you have any issues with your Mac that the Genius Bar cannot fix, please, call Phillip.

Unilocal sent me here (thanks guys) and I was not let down. Phil is polite, professional, and overall knows his stuff. I thought my mac was slow because it’s a few years old, but Phil knew within minutes exactly what was going on with it. What I appreciated the most was that he printed out a sheet with all the costs clearly labeled, and let me know exactly where my money was going. That’s something that is rare these days. He also answered all of my questions, and made me feel confident to leave my mac with him. He told me it would take him two days, but he ended up calling me the next day to tell me it was done! Very reasonably priced as well, I am so impressed. I will be sending all of my mac friends his way! Phil is a mac genius and honest business man, trust me :)

My hard drive on my iMAC died and I needed the hard drive replaced and data to be migrated to the new drive. I called multiple MAC repair places to compare prices. CoreHelp was the most reasonable. When I took my iMAC in Phil was extremely knowledgable and provided a written estimate for his expected work. He called me the next day to let me know the work was completed. Before I left he had me check out the system in the office to ensure all was working properly. Phil was most professional and friendly and I would recommend his service to everyone.

Phil is fabulous. If you own a mac, this is your guy. He is honest, capable, and reasonably priced. I have a one year old mac book, and Apple invalidated my warranty because of ‘liquid contact indicator’. This is after I drive one hour to the Berkeley Apple store… Phil sold me a used battery that has worked for 6 months just fine, and for around $ 100! Thank you. Five Stars Phil!

CoreHelp ROCKS! I just recovered the last 2 years of my life (and my kids lives) in photos that I thought were gone! I had spent 2 days at the mall at the Apple Store trying to recover my iphoto library thanks to some bogus advice I had gotten from a previous «genius», my external photo hard drive wasn’t backing up properly as I thought it had been to my time machine hard drive. Phil was able to show me within the first 5 minutes of walking in to the store that my pictures were recoverable. He also set up my time machine to back up my external photo hard drive which they were not able to do at the Apple Store. Not only is he totally knowledgable, but he is affordable and kind as well! If I ever have another issue with my mac, I will skip the geniuses at the Apple store and go directly to Phil, the real genius at Core Help! I wish I would have known about him before I cried a river over my lost photos! It could’ve saved me heartache and 2 awful days at the mall!

I had some work done on my laptop with Phil Fornaciari at Corehelp, and don’t believe I could share my satisfaction any more effectively, other than to invite you to simply scroll down and read the reviews that have come before mine.
A couple days later I went to the Apple Store to spy out a quote in order to see what the difference might have been had I let them work on my computer instead. I can tell you that the Apple Store would have easily been fifty bucks more. Why? Because Phil performed two simple, additional services for which I was not charged.
Now, I do not wish to infer that Phil is in the business of giving away his services, but whereas the Apple Store doesn’t think twice about checking a box and arbitrarily adding twenty-​five bucks here and twenty-​five bucks there, or selling you something you don’t really need, it is evident that Phil is more in tune with building his business by going the extra mile in customer service… an all-​American value with which fewer and fewer young people seem to be imbued these days.

Ditto to all the good things others have said about Phil and Corehelp. Phil is kind, respectful, talented, honest, and a great Apple tech. I’m so happy he was recommended to me. I’m in the middle of a book deadline, and the thought of sending my computer away for a week was terrifying. Phil fixed it in less than 24 hours for a reasonable price, and even threw in a tutorial on some information I needed on getting the most out of my Apple. His shop is organized, nicely decorated, and neat. My computer came back fixed and CLEAN. Lucky me and lucky Santa Rosa that Phil located his store here.

I recently needed to have our MAC Pro laptop repaired. I went to the Apple store in Santa Rosa at the Plaza and they recommended CoreHelp — a MAC computer repair shop rather than have Apple took at it for repair. CoreHelp specializes in water damaged MAC computers, which was exactly the problem with our computer. It was the perfect recommendation! As painful as it is to damage one’s laptop, Phil, the owner of CoreHelp, understood our pain. He promised an analysis by the morning, which he provided. All this is without charge. Yes, he’ll thoroughly looks at your computer that needs repair and reports exactly what needs to be done to have it be up and running. He is a true professional who knows his computers. He’s honest and reliable. If you ever need your MAC repaired, Phil is the guy.
