I had an amazing experience working with Shannon as my strength coach. I made a big change when I move from Canada to the Bay Area. Trying to find a new path for your career is never easy but it gets even harder when you change countries.
Working with Shannon helped me understand first of all which are my real strengths and how they translate to my every day life but most importantly how I can show case them during my job interviews and work them to my advantage.
She is an amazing listener and she is very insightful. While working with her I was going through an interview process and her coaching help me understand that I really didn’t want that specific job, so it made it easier for me to walk away from the process and stop wasting my time and the recruiter’s.

I had a great experience working with Shannon as my coach and am so glad I chose to take the leap for my career! I’ve always been a pretty self-​aware person, but Shannon was able to help me identify strengths and weaknesses which I didn’t realize effected my career, as well as opened my eyes to certain opportunities that I had been overlooking because I didn’t think I could do it/​had the skills for it. As a result of my time with Shannon, my career seriously exploded this year and I have been able to quit my «side» job and focus totally on my freelance work which makes me so happy! Worth every penny and would def consider going back for more sessions the next time I feel stuck.

I’m past mid-​career & have recently begun a new career path… hoping to find a more fulfilling professional life. Although this is a new venture I soon found myself at a crossroads & «stuck» as to what to do next. I thought a coach might help, but also wasn’t’ sure that someone who didn’t know me could really tell me something I didn’t already know.
So, I thought I would «test drive» a coach… Working with Shannon was eye-​opening to say the least. Her keen insight into what makes me act & do what I do in the way that I do it was eye opening to say the least. As an example, she pointed out that my tendency to focus on the future, when taken to the extreme (as I do), had me ignoring the daily discipline of my business and instead spending too much time on futuristic strategies and not enough time on what needed to be done today. WOW!
I also appreciated how Shannon delivered this feedback… I never felt judged… and she was sure to point out how my strategic strength was a good thing, but if over-​used even a good thing can turn into a negative. She also helped me create strategies for moving forward.
I would highly recommend Shannon to any professional who is considering, or embarking on a new career. Having Shannon as a coach has changed the way I think about myself and my career. She has helped me gain greater self-​awareness, which in turn has enabled me to make better decisions about my career direction.
