Tennis instruction at our beautiful private facility in Brentwood and Agoura. We accept students of all ages and levels.

Individual, Semi-​Private & group clinics (Kids clinics for ages 5 – 7 and 8 – 10)

We use the USTA recommended Red and Green Dot balls for appropriate ages.

Encourages students natural and psychological development through proper technique.

Tennis fundamentals through technical games (beginner & intermediate).

We also include high level instruction for top juniors, open level adults and world class players.

Our curriculum includes mental toughness & strategy, fitness and footwork, technical stroke production.

Both Steve Oliver and Jason DeCosta are available for individualized tennis instruction.

History

Established in 2012.

Founded by Steve Oliver & Jason DeCosta in the summer of 2012, Ultimate Tennis was born after a chance encounter at the Riviera Country Club USPTA awards ceremony. Steve and Jason had known of each other through mutual tennis associates but had never met in person (Steve is the former CEO of TennisKids and Jason is the former VP of ACEing Autism) they shared their mutual passion for tennis in addition to their disappointment of the current state of American tennis.

This encounter lead to the idea of forming a new coaching company that could make a true impact with high level coaching in the Southern California area… Not just with elite juniors, but with all ages and levels. Ultimate Tennis is the vehicle in which Coach Steve & JD are able to infuse their love for coaching along with their desire to make tennis more popular with all walks of life. They feel that tennis is the greatest most giving sport in the world and truly believe that tennis is the «Sport for a Lifetime»

Growing up, Steve Oliver was considered a leader in American tennis. In the juniors, he practiced and battled with all the greats: Sampras, Chang, Agassi & Courier… some of which he has winning records against. Unfortunately, a major skiing accident ended his career abruptly, and he retired from pro tennis at an early age.

Steve has over 25 years of coaching experience and his mentors include such greats as: Sam Match, Tony Trabert, Ralph Gonzales & Craig Heinberg

Coach Jason «JD» has spent the last 10 years immersing himself within the culture

and lifestyle of tennis. He has had incredible success by teaching sound technique and using his education in psychology to build confidence and mental toughness. If

you are «coachable» Coach Jason can improve your game!

Coach Jason was USPTA certified in 2007 and was named «2006 NTRP Player of the Year» being labeled an «Amateur Federer» (Inside Tennis Magazine) Jason won the Southern California NTRP Grand Prix two years in a row 06 – 07
