Dr. Yeung is absolutely amazing. I had a long-​standing fear of dentists — as in I had not been to the dentist in years. I was terrified. I ended up seeing Dr. Yeung because she first treated my boyfriend who is in the process of getting implants. After a couple visits, I was extremely impressed by Dr. Yeung’s intelligence, attention to detail and bedside manner. She cleaned my teeth over two visits and I have never felt better. Basically, she has restored my faith in the dental profession. Cannot recommend her highly enough.

There are not enough stars here for me to adequately rate Dr Yeung. What a breath of fresh air. The most amazing experience I have ever had at a dentist, it was actually a pleasant experience, which I never thought I would say, I hated going to the dentist, actually I avoided it as much as I could. I will not be putting it off any longer, I had the best experience on Monday getting my front tooth filled. Dr Yeung is so knowledgable, her bedside manner is professional but friendly, and she is all that you could want in a dentist. She is also very experienced with mouth guards and she salvaged my old one that two other dentists had said they couldn’t. The dental practice itself doesn’t feel like a traditional dental practice it is very zen and feels like a spa. I highly recommend Dr Yeung and her dental practice in Santa Monica. You won’t be disappointed !

Dr. Stephanie Yeung is the best! She was very nice and answered my all my questions. She was very thorough in her cleaning and explained everything that she was doing. Her office is also very well decorated and gives a sense of peace. Her attention to detail when it comes to patient experience is one level higher than other dentists I have been to. A long overdue review! I was recommended to Dr Yeung by my wife almost 4 years ago and I’ve been going to see Dr Yeung ever since. I had bad experiences with my previous dentist and was so relieved with my pleasant experience with Dr Yeung. She takes a lot of time to explain every option available, unlike my previous experiences with other dentists. I was well informed and well taken care of! My teeth have never looked and felt better.

I randomly found Dr Yeung on Unilocal,and she’s a really good dentist. I’ve been looking for a good dentist who will actually spend time with each patient and she does the job! After having a bad experience with another dentist, I’m glad I found Dr Yeung! I’ll keep seeing her and definitely recommend her to my friends and colleagues!

Upon entering Dr. Yeung’s office, you feel like you are in a serene spa with Asian artifacts peppered throughout the waiting room. Dr. Yeung is very meticulous and spent a lot of time making sure she got everything just right! Even when I felt like my bonding was causing me some discomfort, she immediately made time for me to get it right. I appreciate Dr. Yeung’s dedication to her practice. Highly recommend.

Dr. Yeung is the most caring dentist I have ever encountered. Her office is small and she does everything herself which ensures very personalized service. Everything Dr. Yeung has done for me is of the highest quality. She even has evening hours for the convenience of her patients.

Yay! I went to Stephanie Yeung, DDS with my husband to get our teeth cleaned. Why? Because when I was in film school, Stephanie was studying across the street at the dental program and I went to her for a check up. She was super thorough, explained everything, and made sure everything was painless. She took pictures of my teeth, she put goggles on me, she explained what each tooth was doing, she gave me a cold/​hit test, etc. Honestly, my horrible childhood experience of going to the dentist was slowly melting away as Stephanie made sure I was an active part of each and everything she did.
So, when she finally got her own practice, we knew we wanted to switch dentists and drive all the way to santa monica to get our teeth cleaned. The office is a bit hard to find if you’re not on the look out. It is 2 – 3 doors down from «hole in the wall burger joint» and 1 – 2 doors down from a raw juicery, on the opposite side of starbucks.
When you enter the waiting room area, you’re immediately transported to a calmer place. It looks more like a spa than a dentist’s office. Stephanie shares the space with another longtime dentist. I think it’s awesome that women are helping each other out this way. The artwork and décor will relax you and once you’re inside with Stephanie, she will put you at ease as she asks you a few questions about any problematic tooth, she gives you a few tests (having x-​rays help and she takes x-​rays too), and starts working away at your teeth. She is always aware of your pain level and always warns you before going into a problematic and sensitive tooth.
Visiting a dentist is now going to be my regular thing instead of going in for emergency situations, like I did in the past when I had a really horrible, painful dentist.
Of course, I also ended up having a juice at the juice bar next door and a burger at the hole in the wall burger joint. Not a bad way to round out the day!
