Donitza Avi, DMD

Dr Donitza is a superb dentist. He is professional and also warm and listens to your concerns and does excellent work. His offices are calm and peaceful and lovely with easy parking.

The office is very warm, bright and inviting. It’s a stark contrast to the mundane halls of the building itself. The staff is very nice and helpful without scolding you for poor dental hygiene, even to someone like myself who hasn’t been to the dentist in a few years. Dr. Donitza is also very comforting and thoroughly explains your options as well as preventative measures to keep your teeth in your head where they should be. I would highly recommend Oral Construx to anyone.

Dr. Donitza is in a fantastic, stylish, mid-​century-​cool office in Beverly Hills that’s comfortable, quiet, peaceful. His staff is warm, welcoming and professional.
More importantly, his work is excellent. He specializes in full mouth reconstructions and is current, extremely knowledgable and patient. I trust him completely.
He was five years in the army as a dentist and paramedic and has a calm and comforting presence, seems more than able to handle any crisis or emergency.
I give him the highest recommendation possible.

I’ve been using Unilocal for many years, but this is my first Unilocal review. I have to give it to Dr. Donitza. Five stars are not enough. If I could, I’d give him 100 stars.
I’m serious. Seeing dentists used to be a HUGE pain for me. I have a special medical condition. My jaw is stiff, so my mouth can’t open very wide. At the same time, I have dry mouth, which means my teeth go bad easily. So I have to see dentist very often. I must have seen a dozen different dentists in the past ten years. I used to hate dentists. It’s not that they weren’t good. It’s simply difficult, both for me and for the dentist.
I finally found Dr. Donitza after I moved to LA three years ago. In the past two years, I had really intense and challenging dental treatments, but Dr. Donitza made the whole process unbelievably painless for me. I swear by his amazing hand skills. He is so gentle with my teeth. What used to be «the suffering dental appointments» turned out to be quite easy and no big deal at all. Believe it or not, I once actually fell asleep on the dental chair during one of those 2 to 3 hour long appointments while he was drilling my teeth. (At the time my daughter was 10 months old. Dental appointment was actually relaxing for me!)
Besides, Dr. Donitza is the most wonderful, kind, and caring doctor that I have ever met. He is such a pleasant person, very gentle, very calm. There were times when I emailed him at 9pm telling him that my mouth still hurt after the treatment in the afternoon, he replied my email in less than 20 minutes and gave me his cell phone number to call him. I just can’t say enough good things about Dr. Donitza. Truly, he is the best dentist in the world for me. I will not need another dentist until the day he retires.
Everyone in his office is very nice too, which was quite surprising to me at first. (I was used to greeting those overworked dental assistants who could barely keep a smile on their face, probably because they had to work longer time on me than a regular patient.) I was so used to dental assistants getting frustrated too, for example, when they just couldn’t figure out how to put those xray chip into the right place in my mouth. I know it’s hard for them. I understand it. I don’t even feel offended when they started to lose their patience. But literally, I never saw anyone in Dr. Donitza’s office ever frowned at my teeth when things went difficult for them, not slightly, not even a single time, which I have to say, is very impressive.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Donitza twice a year for the last ten years. We even followed him when he moved his practice across town!
Over the years, I’ve had all types of dentistry work done, and I have trusted Dr. Donitza with all of it. He is calm, gentle and has a great sense of humor, but most of all he listens and talks with you and not at you.
He works seamlessly with his assistants, and you can see that his assistants and office personnel really like and respect him.
I have recommended Dr. Donitza to all of my friends and co-​workers. Don’t think about it anymore. Just call his office and make an appointment!
