My new favorite Smog Test Shop. Cordial, professional, fast, excellent price. Will be bringing in our other car when it’s due.

Good place for smog tests. They do it fast and courteous service.
Reason for only 4 stars is that they don’t provide any additional services, such as oil change, tire pressure, etc. The small things you don’t want to take the car into full service for.
However, they are honest. I took my car in and he told me not to do the test because he can see that I won’t pass. I went to the car shop and they fixed it right away. I came back and passed.

Called at 5:23 and came here at 5:30 on the money and they still serviced my vehicle with a $ 10 off coupon.

Great place for a smog check! Fast service. I was in and out in 15 minutes. My car is newer than 2000. It ended up costing me $ 50. Not bad. Found my new smog place.

I got a Smog certification here after my awesome mechanic at Kondo Motors just down the street said customers often use them. We dealt with Chris and he was great… very personable and courteous. Overall experience was fast and professional w reasonable rates. I definitely recommend them!

Easy fast and nice place for a quick job we all have to deal with at some point. Great service and with a smile what else could you want?

I had my smog checked here, when I asked for the papers they said they send it in automatically through the system. A couple months later, no tags arrow but instead a big fat fine for not getting my car smog certified in time. When I when back to the shop the mechanic was extremely rude, and even though I was in their system and showed that the information wasn’t sent in, I was charged for a second inspection. The entire time he was harassing me similar to the way mentally uncontrollable homeless people on the Venice boardwalk do. I left feeling very threatened, taken advantage of, and in tears. Nasty, terrible service. I never write negative Unilocal ads, but I would hate for someone else to deal with what I did. Sometimes it’s worth it to pay $ 10 more.

I need a smog cert to renew my tags. I drive up, hand over my DMV doc, 20 minutes later I’m on the road, cert in hand.
This is the 3^rd time I’ve used these guys and have no plans to go anywhere else. They even give a discount to repeat customers.

The guy who helped me out was quiet but friendly. I was a little skeptical about the service before I got there based off some of their Unilocal reviews, but I gave it a try and was satisfied by their service.

Horrible horrible service. Considering the other reviews, I’m kind of surprised how rude they were on the phone today. Maybe the person who answered had a bad weekend or they wanted to vent some anger out on a potential customer…
Despite the name of their business, I call to verify we weren’t going to the wrong type of smog test center. When I asked if they were a smog test only site, they said «yes». When I then asked if they were able to do repairs, they also said «yes». When I asked for clarification, they just hung up on me…
For those that aren’t familiar, there are «Smog Test Only» and «Smog Test and Repair» sites. Depending what you have on your paperwork from the DMV, you may have to go to one or the other. If you go to one, and were supposed to go to the other, you may end up wasting your time, and possibly the cost of the incorrect test…
Apparently this place has enough business that they can blow off some of their customers. Not exactly the smartest way to do business…

Just moved here from Hawaii and my little pickup need a smog check. I drove up, waited about ten mins and done. They were very polite and efficient. Cost was $ 40 with an online coupon.

Called ahead so there wasn’t a wait. Printed a coupon so it wasn’t expensive. Enjoyed a homeless drama while my car was checked out. Passed. $ 40. Bam.

What? Of course it gets 5 stars — as far as smog stations go. What else did you expect?
I came on a Wednesday morning and it was empty. They — like most other smog stations — only service one person at a time, and each smog takes about 20 minutes. The guy — I think his name was Josh — was friendly and took good care of my S2000 for the short time he had it. They share the open, two-​car wide, one-​car long building with an auto shop of some sort, so don’t get confused finding the place since there’s no direct sign.
A small thing that’s probably only specific to me – but he didn’t know how to put my car in reverse (it’s stick) and forgot to take off the wheel block before driving my car off of the ramp (I actually saw it, said something, and took it out).
Like Ross. A stated, there’s a small plaza across the street to check out, but I’d recommend looking at the Cigar shop right next door for a little more variety — if you care enough.

Very good and fast. You can search for a coupon online and get a $ 10 discount which I did.
