Dr. David A.

Business Owner

Dr. David P. Allegra subspecialties include oncoradiology, cross-​sectional interventional radiology, abdominal and musculoskeletal imaging.

Dr. Allegra attended medical school at Tufts Medical School in Boston, MA and performed his radiology residency at Tufts-​New England Medical Center. He went on to complete an MRI fellowship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Allegra trained in oncoradiology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital through his association with the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. He was an instructor at the Harvard Medical School, teaching radiology to residents and lecturing at Harvard Medical School — sponsored conferences.

Dr. Allegra was formerly the Director of Radiology at Century City Hospital in Los Angeles. He has become a pioneer in the application of percutaneous radiofrequency ablation for the treatment of cancer patients. Dr Allegra’s work in this area is published as part of the earliest and largest series of ablation patients in the nation.
