Palm West Properties is a boutique real estate company specializing in the Buying, Selling and Leasing of residential and income Real Estate in the Westside of Los Angeles. We are specialists and long time residents of Santa Monica’s Ocean Park and Sunset Park and Venice Beach neighborhood. We have been here since DogTown and have watched the eminence of Silicon Beach.

We pride ourselves on our customer service, market knowledge, hands-​on approach and most importantly, our ethical beliefs. Our Clients trust us to find them the best properties when buying and best Buyer when selling. We gain that trust by really listening to what our clients want and with that knowledge, to use our negotiation and «paperwork» skills to achieve your goals.

History

Established in 2006.

Palm West Properties was started when Heather Nesis’ previous agency that she worked for closed doors. There were no other Ocean Park boutique real estates businesses at the time and she preferrs working with a small company because she feels that larger companies don’t truly understand our eclectic market. Since she already had her Broker’s License, she opened up Palm West on her own. Armed with several years experience in property management, solid sales background and a business degree, she opened the first office on Lincoln Blvd. Since then, we have relocated to Main Street. We just celebrated our 8^th anniversary!

Business Owner

Heather Nesis began her real estate career helping clean up her architect/developer’s father’s building sites as a young child. She designed and built her first home when she was 16 years in the Carmel area. After obtaining a B.A. in International Business Administration from the American College (summa cum laude) she worked in PR, Brand Development and finally with Property Management. Soon after she obtained her Broker’s License to sell real estate and began selling. She has gained experience in many different types of sales through the years and loves a good challenge.

Heather is also a neighborhood expert, having witnessed the rise of Silicon Beach from DogTown. As a young lady, Heather spent time skating down hills like Marine Hill, surfing Station 26 or doing gymnastics by the Pier. She even lived on the Pier briefly! She is proud of her daughter who is an honors student at Santa Monica High School!
