Business Owner

Luke Gibson graduated with a Photography degree from Santa Monica College, after which he learned alot of hands-​on knowledge by assisting some of the biggest architectural and real estate photographers in Los Angeles.

He created Luke Gibson Photography, which caters to architects, interior designers, real estate agents, landscape designers, home builders, commercial real estate developers, luxury apartment communities, hotels and restaurants, and more.

Luke is a photography contributor to magazines like South Bay Magazine, South Bay HOME Magazine, and Ventura Blvd. Magazine. His work has been featured in Los Angeles Times, New York Times Magazine, Architect Magazine, and in Gail Peter Borden’s book «Matter — Material Processes in Architectural Production.»

He had his own. month-​long architectural photography gallery show at the American Institute of Architects Los Angeles headquarters, in the Wiltern Building, in Fall 2011.

Luke Gibson is a superb photographer. We are a marketing, graphic & web design firm (High Arte,
) and have used Luke on a number of assignments that include multiple interiors and landscape designs. Not only does he provide carefully considered and beautifully produced images (which are essential in our business) but he does this with ultimate consideration for the individuals and property he is shooting. We had Luke Gibson shoot out downtown LA loft. Not only were the photos come out beautiful, he had such a great hi tech system that allowed us to view the each shot on a iPad real time so we could make adjustments along the way. He is such a friendly and professional person. An additional service he offers is creating a website and app for your property so he is truly a one stop shop for a very reasonable price. I hired Luke to photograph a new listing in Venice Beach.
Firstly, he was very accommodating, as I had to change the date of the shoot twice.
On the day, he was extremely pleasant and professional. He worked briskly yet was patient with me when I need to move some staging around, etc.
The photos turned out very well and he got them to me quickly. He captured some great angles and really showed the house in its best light, without being too «over the top» as some real estate pics tend to be. I had two people say that the house really does look like the pictures — which is what I wanted.
His rates are reasonable and I’m happy! Will definitely have Luke shoot my next listing.
