100% happy! In fact, we were so happy with Spring Garage Doors and Gates we had them do a second gate for us. We first contacted Len to construct and install a brand new electric gate for our rental property. He was prompt, always available by phone and gave us the best price for a good-​quality, metal driveway gate. He helped us with good design that stayed within our budget. So good was our experience with him and his workers that we hired him to build a custom wood gate for our home! It’s a beautiful and solid driveway gate. He matched our design exactly and his craftsmanship is top-​notch.
I see there is one review here saying they do not have good employees. I honestly think that person is confused with a different company. Len and his workers could not be more professional and nice. We’ve called them after the install to make a few minor adjustments and they have come out the next day to fix! This company does great work and stands behind their product.

Len called me back within 10 minutes and even though it was Saturday night (and his wife’s birthday), he came over that night and replaced the sensors on my garage door. He does what he says he’s going to do and the results are terrific. You’ll be in good hands if you call him.

I am extremely pleased with Spring! Len responded to my Monday morning call in less than 10 minutes, came by and gave me an estimate that morning, and completed the work (which involved replacing a bent rail on the garage opener mechanism) that afternoon! He was clear in explaining the problem and solution, he fixed the problem in less than a day, and his price was fair.

Len is the best! I called him this morning about the mechanisms on two separate garage doors that were old and abused in renovation by a contractor. He was at my house within two hours (as promised) and the doors are now repaired and working better than ever (and they are actually quieter…). When I am finished with the renovation, I am going to have him set up the remotes on my cell phone.

I called this company today regarding an entry access issue with our gate. From all companies, they was the only one who had open availability to do same day service call. I found this company on Unilocal and I was impressed with all the reviews. I must admit, I was a bit suspicious because all of the reviews are so good. But my experience was noting less than perfect. Len is very responsive. When you call or texts, he answers right away.
They built and installed both a driveway and walkway gates for me. They came out looking exactly like I wanted and look like they were built to last. The price was very fair, based on my research.
Len is a really nice guy and the people who work with him are great too.
Bottom line is that he delivered exactly what we agreed on and for the price we agreed on without any hassles. I find that to be rare with contractors!

My home was built in 2014 and it came with LiftMaster Jackshaft garage door. The metal wires came off yesterday and the garage door was inoperable with my car stuck inside the garage. I called Len, the owner of Spring Garage Doors & Gates, and he showed up to my house in less than 20 minutes, worked out the details and explained why it wasn’t working, reattached the wires properly, and the garage door was fixed in less than one hour from his visit. Len has been in business for 30+ years. The knowledge in his trade and complete open-​book throughout the fixing process made me want to recommend everyone to give him a call firsthand before calling any other similar businesses. I encountered hundreds of incompetent so called contractors that are not insured, bonded, or even licensed in LA (not just garage/​gate) — no matter how big or small the job may be, you as a customer want someone like Len.

Len was prompt and all bout getting it done, seemed very knowledgeable. I had issues closing and opening the door. Called Len and left him a voicemail, he called me an hour later and checked it out and suggested me to replace garage door opener. Which he did couple hours later. Two days later it took me few attempts to close door again. So called him again, he said all he had to do was reset something and will be there next day morning, which he did.

Len is AMAZING! I picked him over dozens of other garage door repair companies because all of his reviews are 5 stars, and he did not disappoint! I have an ancient springs/​pulleys/​counterweight system on my huge home garage door, and did not want to replace it because an inexperienced technician didn’t know how to fix it. Len didn’t try to sell me anything, he took his time until he finally figured out the flaw in my system (an unseen loose bolt), then lubricated and serviced everything, cleaned up, and charged me a VERY reasonable price for his time. Plus he explained everything he was doing beforehand. I cannot recommend him highly enough– I rarely take the time to write reviews, but Len more than earned this one!

We had a break in due to our old and worn out wooden garage door. I called Spring Garage Doors and within a few hours they were at my residence to advise and quote a new door. Not only did they show up quickly but they had rates way under the other companies that I had come by. Len answered all my questions and was extremely knowledgable, helping us pick the perfect door for our needs and within our budget.
They were ready to install it within just a few days. The install team had our old door out and new door in within two hours. They showed me how to work all the new mechanics and left their work area clean of any debris.

Len did a HUGE job by converting carports into garages in one of my rental buildings. Three other garage businesses told me that it could not be done – but Len made it happen. His prices were reasonable and he has been back a couple of times to service the units since the install – honoring his warranty with no questions asked.

I’m an owner’s representative/​construction manager working with some clients with very high standards in Beverly Hills. When they asked me to replace their 20-​year-​old garage door opener, I knew it had to be done right, quickly and reasonably-​priced. After reading some great reviews of Spring Garage Doors and of Len, the owner, I thought I’d take a chance. Len answered his phone immediately and made an appointment with me for the next day. When he arrived (on time!!), he quickly assessed the situation and told me that he would be willing to repair the opener, but that he’d probably be back in a month to re-​repair it. He then quoted me a reasonable price for a new opener, state-​of-​the-​art and waited for 25 minutes while I tried to get the owners on the phone (they were out-​of-​state) to get their approval. Once I got the thumbs up, Len installed a brand new door and removed the old one in about an hour! He ran through the operation of the door with me, cleaned up the site thoroughly and was on his way.
If you want a reliable, honest garage door specialist, look no farther than Len and Spring Garage Doors. Highly recommended!
