This is the worst juice and coffee bar in LA. Everything tastes absolutely terrible. Smoothie did not taste fresh and almond milk tastes like canned coconut milk! Consistency of the smoothie was liquidey and gooey– very disgusting. I wish I could give this place minus 5 stars but the lowest Unilocal offers is 1 star!

This place had the most delicious gf healthy ref velvet cake ever!

Can’t say enough about this place. One of my favorite spots. Quality organic gourmet raw and really great people, always both in front of and behind the counter. Has an amazing closed in space out back to eat, chill, and converse along with a very beautiful added on private deck for yoga, sound healing, and other conscious events. Great art and conscious products too. I look forward to my next visit as always. Love you guys. Love and Blessings.

This food was absolutely terrible. I am SO confused by the reviews because there are so many good reviews on this place. We are really disappointed and wasted hard earned money here. My avocado sandwich was the EXACT same as the tuna melt! For the same price! How is that different?! The bread was soggy and the sandwiches had no flavor. The other thing that I didn’t like about this place was the fact that there were no descriptions on any of the menu items. All it said was avocado sandwich or vegan tuna melt and the vegan tuna melt by the way was not even a tuna melt! They claim that they put cashew cheese on it but it was just a soggy mess. An alternative «cheese» that actually tastes like cheese making it a «melt» would have been better.
I appreciate the vegan food being vegan, but this was terrible food and there are so many more great options. If you want truly amazing vegan food try Vegetable in Studio City because you won’t be disappointed going there.

Imagine a «Vegan Tuna Melt»… It has neither tuna or anything that is melted like cheese for example and yet this surprising sandwich, juice and sweet energy of this place changed the course of our day.
It was one of those days, if you are here living during these mixed up often hateful times of guns and misogyny it can enshroud you in a ugly veil of negativity.
We, my sweetie & I were having that sort of day replete with eye rolling and just general irritability. Granted, we waited till nearly noon to eat anything which MAY have contributed to our surly moods :)
Life Foods changed the course of our day. We stopped in originally just for a juice however the charming woman behind the counter (darn it, I can’t remember her name) was so helpful and kind she piqued our curiosity about the food the served.

Guess what? We felt so much better, satisfied without bloat, nourished and not a bit of grumpy left!

Great food but bad attitude. Demeaning towards customers, don’t care about the neighborhood. As vegans living a block away, we would have loved to patronize this place on a regular, repeated basis, but they literally drove us away with their snotty attitutde. We’ll stick to our regular neigborhood joints, aka Rawvolution and Rejuice. Too bad.

Goddess salad and breakfast burritos are my addiction here.

Hot drinks surpass Rawrevolution

Really great place. Food is organic, vegan. Enjoyed a few different food options and most were fantastic.

The patio was serene! I drove from hectic downtown to meet my visiting raw food friend. We landed on this patio and could have spent the entire afternoon there! She has turned me on to some of the neatest food! And this place is right on up there! It’s a very small «food» menu. She had some burger creation that she shared with her 2 year old little girl. They loved it! We each had a different kind of «elixir». Mine was a spicy ginger and hit the spot! I got the coconut yogurt bowl with fruit and it came with these crunchy chocolatey granola bites that were so good! The coconut yogurt was so creamy and delicious! I LOVE it! The service was super friendly and timing was fine. It was last Wednesday Oct 21 and quite a gorgeous day. I’ll go back by myself for more of that yummy yogurt and those crunchy bites!!! Yum! Thank you!

Loveeeee this place, they have a very beautiful outdoor area. I was a bit skeptical about raw food but their sea wrap is amazing!!!

Bought an $ 11 acai bowl and it was a huge disappointment. First of all, it didn’t have enough acai in it and it tasted grainy not sweet, secondly the portion was ridiculously small. And the amount of fruit and bananas they out in it was equivalent to 4 slices of bananas and 2 strawberries. I will not go back again.

Omg! This is the best raw organic vegan café. Love them when I’m in a hurry and need healthy, quick fast food. Love their green cold pressed juice before my workouts, (really fresh versus what you might get elsewhere). And highly recommend their superfood smoothies (I add protein after my workouts). They have my favorite salad (Goddess salad!!), gluten-​free, vegan dessert (definitely try the chocolate cake!!). And the porch in the back is really cute and useful if you need a place to eat and get free wi-​fi. Super excited for their yoga and fitness classes in their garden studio in the back!

This place is a blast! They have different kinds of delicious foods made with raw, organic, gluten-​free ingredients! I also love their beautiful backyard and the yoga patio. Not to mention their free-​wifi and super friendly and knowledgable staff! Can’t wait to come back again.
Eating healthily has always been my priority and this place saved my life! Their food and smoothies are so tasty and healthy. They listed all of their ingredients for their available foods. These ingredients are just a pleasure to read and I feel like I’m eating the healthiest food on earth. So happy I found this little gem in Santa Monica!

LifeFood Organic definitely has the best vegetarian food! I ordered the sea wrap and it was amazingly tasty. Not to mention its super healthy and high-​quality ingredients. They have different kinds of salads, breakfast plates, gluten free and vegan desserts as well as dehydrated food that made with organic fresh fruit, vegetables, nuts and seeds. They were prepared at temperatures under 118 °F in order to preserve enzymes in the food. That’s why they are called living foods. What a cool concept!
In addition, they also serve a wide variety of smoothies, cold pressed juice and fresh juice. I tried their sweet green cold pressed juice and loved it! It was so refreshing and you can taste the healthiness in it! Can’t wait to try other pressed juices and smoothies!
It’s a great café for a quick healthy meal after a long day or between job breaks. They also have FREE Wifi! Yay! Now I can spend as long as I want in here!
There is a beautiful patio in the back with many green plants — a cute place to relax, study or spend time with your friends!
By the way, I heard they are also holding outdoor yoga classes in their patio. I can’t wait to try it out someday!
Anyway, if you are into a healthy lifestyle, you can’t miss this place!

LifeFood Organic is a great, new, modern, but cosy vegetarian place with many pre-​made raw vegan options. The wraps, burgers, pizzas are fresh and beautiful. We had a raw vegan tuna wrap and the sun burger. Both were exceptionally delicious. Totally recommend! The service was very nice and attentive, looking forward to come back and spend the lunch on the patio.

Stores like these are a dime a dozen in Los Angeles but that doesn’t mean they aren’t worth their snuff. Or whatever that phrase is. The smoothies will definitely set you back (I just paid $ 17 for a smoothie, which is definitely one of the more «LA» sentences out there…) but they do not skimp on the quality of ingredients.
A good place for health accoutrements as well – a nice section of vitamins and supplements, as well as some kitchen staples that are elevated from store brands like sugar, tea, nuts.
(I can’t believe I just paid $ 17 for a smoothie. What’s wrong with me?!)

I want everyone to know about THE MOST AMAZING salad! It’s called the Goddess salad. Enough said! It truly is divine! Lot’s of greens and fresh sliced mango with a raw, non-​dairy blue cheese topping. I always get this when I come here. Along with their great juices. I’ve also had their pizza once. Very delicious! This place is so special! So healthy and nurturing and they are always so friendly. There’s a cute little patio out back where you can relax and enjoy your meal. As far as raw food cuisine goes, these guys are on top of their game. It’s nice you can grab and go with their per-​packaged items, or request something to be freshly made to order.

My roommate kept raving about how awesome this restaurant is so I finally decided to try it out and I’m so glad I did! I am not a vegetarian or vegan but I enjoy eating fresh healthy organic food when I can. I have a super busy schedule so I appreciate that LifeFood Organic is set up in a quick serve café style setting. I can just order a pre-​made item from the deli, grab a cold pressed juice from the juice bar and I’m out the door! I’ve only ordered take-​out for breakfast and lunch but I would be open to stopping here for dinner too.

What I loved: Mediterranean Greek salad, Super Sandwiches, Mexican chipotle breakfast wrap, cold pressed juices, almond milks
What I am obsessed with: Japanese seaweed wrap, Eggless wrap, all the gluten free raw vegan desserts, all the amazing smoothies!
I have to say this is the best place to eat healthy food in Los Angeles. They even go the extra mile offering products like vitamins, supplements, water shower filters and books. The only other natural health food store that comes close to this place is Erewhon. Now if only LifeFood Organic would set up shop inside the hospital where I work –then I would be set!
