Kevin Orthotics

I was referred to Kevin by my podiatrist who had attempted to fit me for a pair of orthotics. I have a fused left ankle and had recently sprained my right one. The original orthotics were just not working and Kevin was tireless in his attempts to make them right. He eventually, at no additional cost to me, fit me for a brand new pair and since I live in Malibu, had them mailed to the house. Needless to say the new ones work great and I am back walking every day with minimal pain.
His office staff are friendly and responsive and the overall experience was great. He went the extra mile to work with me and really understands the nature of living with an ankle fusion. He gets an A++ for customer service and knowledge!!!

I had to have my orthotics remade numerous times with Kevin Orthotics as they did not fit properly and I could not wear them. Next time I have orthotics made I will go somewhere that does not use Kevin Orthotics.

Kevin Orthotics is awesome! I am a very picky doctor who insists on superior quality and service, and they deliver every time! I had a patient traveling to Italy, had a rush order, and they delivered in a very tight time-​frame (the patient came in last minute and had to have complex adjustments made). I was referred to Kevin by one of the best bike shops in LA, and its master fitter, who does bike fits for champion cyclists from around the country. If Steve trusts Kevin, I was inclined to trust Kevin.
That trust proved to be entirely justified. Not only was Kevin affable and flexible, accommodating my schedule and even meeting me at the shop to do my molds, he was incredibly responsive to the many questions I had about my orthotics as I got used to them. He worked with me to get them to fit perfectly, even modifying them as I got accustomed to the higher arches and could handle getting them back to the shape of my original casting.
I suffer from pretty bad hot spots, and also knee pain, and since getting my orthotics both have subsided. I am now on my second pair, and can’t believe that I’m even happier with this pair than the first. After struggling to get custom orthotics to work from various other sources, I think I’ve found my guy to keep my legs happy so that the only thing that keeps me off the bike is work, not comfort!
Kevin will make your orthotics quickly, and he will happily work with you to make sure that they are right for you, including modifications as necessary. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Was introduced to this company through a friend’s suggestion and I am so glad I did! I was suffering from this strange pain on the ball of my right foot for about 3 months. Nothing seemed to help. I workout regularly and spend a lot of time on my feet, so giving weight-​bearing exercise up was not something that I wanted to do. I saw Kevin a couple months ago and he was able to diagnose exactly what was going on with my feet. He and his staff are very professional. I was fitted for a pair of custom orthotics and they arrived within about 2 weeks after the fitting. I was given full instructions on how to use the device and how to ease the use of my orthotics into my exercise routine. Now, about 8 weeks later, I have no more pain. Seeing Kevin and his staff saved me thousands of dollars in unnecessary office visits. Thanks!!!

Please, check with your podiatrist to see what lab he/​she uses. If you find out it’s Kevin Orthotics or Foot in Motion, ask if they can use another lab. I am serious. This lab does not know what they are doing and they are just into marketing, just making money. I have personal experience with this through two doctors. You will spend a lot of money and in the end have your foot pain and disappointment. You might as well ask your dad or your friends to make you orthotics and they would be just as good as this company!

I met Kevin at the Foot and Ankle Institute in Santa Monica. I can’t tell you how impressed I am with his professionalism and knowledge. For years, I have suffered severe pain in my ankle and have been at a loss for what was the cause. As a fitness professional, it has not only been physically very difficult to live with continual pain but psychologically depressing and frustrating to no end. I have seen MANY, MANY doctors and never got a really clear picture of what was going on. When being fitted for a boot, Kevin took ample time with me to really understand my issues and to examine my foot. He then made an assessment of my situation which I went home and googled. EVERYTHING he said, from the diagnosis to the treatment options was right on point. After so much confusion and discouragement, I finally felt encouraged that there was an accurate diagnosis with many possible solutions. Feeling like someone heard me and paid attention to what I was going through made me walk with a new kick in my step… no pun intended:) Kevin is so passionate about what he knows as well as generous with his time and empathy.
