I lost my left foot on February 20^th due to diabetes… I’m now up and mobile, and have been so since late April. No walker, crutches or cane.
I owe my mobility to Performance and their excellent service…

I am a right leg amputee with a very short stump. I was referred by the state of California to get my whole leg done.
Albert and Stephen approach the problem like anybody else, they listen, let you participate in the process and make you feel like you are part of the family.
Extremely effective and creative. Best fitment ever!

Albert and Stephen are two of the best orthopedics in the field. They really listen, understand and work closely with you.
I’ve been a right leg amputee for almost 15 years and have been Albert’s client for a few years now. Before I met him, my prosthetic leg was not the most functional and reliable. I had an awful gait and would have problems with how my stump sat in my socket. When I switched orthopedic groups, Al immediately noticed the problems with my former prosthetic leg. He went to work and constructed an amazing new prosthetic leg for me. I can now stand, walk, and run which were things I could not comfortably do in the past. I feel extremely lucky to have found this place.

Albert and his staff are Amazing!!! They are professional, extremely knowledgeable and truly caring! Thanks to Albert my mother’s back fracture is now healing properly. He put an end to the hideous nightmare we were going through! The second, we handed Albert the doctor’s prescription. He knew exactly what the doctor was ordering and he had this one of a kind back brace in stock! This back brace prevents ALL movement of the spine. So, it can fuse back together properly and in a timely manner. We had gone to over 7 places and wasted over a week looking for this brace. It was so frustrating dealing with people who just wanted to sell us what they had in stock, which had nothing to do with healing her problem! Even worst, they didn’t even understand the doctor’s prescription!!! This is why, Albert is heaven sent! Thank you for taking care of my mother during these hard times.

I broke my foot and had to come here to get a walking boot and a pair of crutches.
Al was extremely helpful in finding a boot that worked for me, swapping out the first two boots we tried because they were too tight. He then gave me a quick lesson in how to properly use my crutches, and I was on my way. The receptionist I spoke with was extremely polite as well.
After a high-​stress day of dragging myself around to doctor’s offices with a broken foot, it was a relief to end the day with a pleasant experience.

My experience was bare none some of the best I’ve had in the medical prosthetic industry.
Al at Performance Prosthetics really went above and beyond, called my doctor’s office who sounded like they made a mistake on an authorization order and honestly, completely made my day. Even fabricated some velcro to help with another device I had (which apparently is impossible to find).
Here’s the story:
My Mother had shoulder surgery. And now guess what… Now I need shoulder surgery. So in my haste of trying to recover by summer and book surgery quickly, durable medical goods aren’t easy to find on-​the-​shelf. My doctor said I need a good brace and an ice unit to control inflammation and pain.
Well guess what? No one on this planet apparently carries either. Both companies my HMO authorized had no clue what I was even talking about when I asked for a shoulder chilling unit. I had to listen to «breast pump» ads over and over… cause apparently that’s the only durable medical goods that make money.
Luckily, my HMO had my brace authorization at Performance Prosthetics.
Then I went to see Al at PP and whoa! He immediately knew what I was talking about, saw my authorization and noticed the brace was the wrong type. Hooked me up with the right one, and fabricated some velcro straps to replace a missing part on the ice chiller my Mother luckily had left over from her surgery.
You don’t find service like this in L.A.
Ohh and no, I don’t work for some review company hired by PP. This is legit and it really did make my day :-)

My job requires me to be on my feet all day causing me back pain, my Dr. recomended me this place and they were awesome, took great care and are super nice, I totally recomend!
