History

Established in 1987.

Eshaya’s incomparable work ethic and unique ability to marry street and runway fashion ultimately enabled him to launch T-​shirt and denim line JET in 1987, as well as Becker-​Eshaya fragrances. In 2008 after a 24 year run with Fred Segal Melrose, John Eshaya opened his first JET flagship shop at the Fred Segal complex in Santa Monica. In 2010 his first overseas JET shop was opened in Tokyo. Now customers can enjoy shopping at a JET store in Santa Monica California, West Hollywood, Osaka, Tokyo and, Nagoya as well as over 150 specialty stores worldwide. His personal flair, coupled with the passionate certainty of his judgment, make him a darling of the fashionistas. His pieces have been worn by such celebrities as Nicole Richie, Scarlett Johansson, Lindsay Lohan, Christina Aguilera and Mary-​Kate Olsen. John and his lines have been featured in such major publications as InStyle, People, US Weekly, Lucky, Bazaar, Vogue, WWD, West, Flaunt, Time, InTouch, and Los Angeles Confidential.
