Marcelo was absolutely wonderful to work with! Not only did he do any amazing job but he seems like an all around genuine person who cares deeply about the quality of work he produces — we couldn’t be happier with our mounted TV!
He also loves dogs which is a plus as ours kept trying to distract him while he was working. :)

I am not an AV expert but know enough to be dangerous.
What I loved about Marcelo —
First — super responsive, friendly, easy to deal with, flexible. Not snobby at all about AV technologies, just all-​round good guy.
Second — didn’t push any products he was selling hard or anything like that. I had some stuff but needed a receiver, some in-​wall speakers, etc… and he was both super-​helpful in thinking about what I needed and then always sending me links to multiple options on Amazon which made me feel like I was getting totally impartial advice.
Third, everything works incredibly well. Everything I asked for — multiple zone functionality, extremely fast mesh wifi that goes through four stories of the house and far out enough to the street to serve wifi doorbells and locks on my gates.
5 stars.

I’ve dealt with two other companies that promised to fix the internet in my house, and then they would make excuses how its due to the size of my house and that they can’t do anything about it.
Fortunately, I got in touch with Marcello and I knew right away that I’m dealing with a professional. The new system he installed in my house has given me the fastest internet I’ve ever had.

Marcelo arrived on time and did a wonderful job running a cat 6 line from my upstairs office to my downstairs media center. He was very thoughtful about placement of the line and made it a point to keep the house looking aesthetically pleasing. His prices are very reasonable and I will no doubt continue to use him in the future.

I had bad internet reception in several parts of my home. My «media area» had a jumble of various cable company internet boxes, Wi-​Fi routers, Wi-​Fi smart home hubs, etc. It was so disorganized and it looked awful.
Marcelo came in, neatly attached all the boxes, routers, hubs, etc to the wall in an organized and efficient manner. He then connected all of the CAT5e internet lines in the home to a new hub that has the whole home «connected» to my internet router.
With a few internet routers set up via the newly «connected» CAT5e lines at a few locations in the home, I finally have solid Wi-​Fi internet in areas where I wasn’t able to get it before.

This company is amazing. Marcello came and did a quote for us and also gave us the truth about what the best equipment was etc and worked with us to get our job done in very short order. HIs crew was amazing and fast-​considering he and his crew had only a few days to install an entire sound system into our 4200 square foot home and backyard. They were quick, neat, and clean. They stayed late and came early to get the job done. We will be using them to do our other home theater work once we get moved in more. Their prices were the best and their work exceptional. We are very happy with his work!

I called Marcelo a week ago to quote 3 TVs, one of which was a complete home theater installation, and diagnose my Ethernet connectivity. He had availability next Wednesday. Through some email correspondence he said he rather I buy all the parts since he had no time to go to his warehouse.
Today, the day before he arrives, I took several pictures and went into more detail so he could be adequately prepared coming in. Some «additions» included mounting my media cabinet, installing a sound bar and adding power outlet to hide the wires.
Apparently, these items were the straws which broke the camel’s back. After some back and forth he decided this was too much work for him and he had taken a big job right after. But from the beginning, he had given me the feeling that he didn’t really want to do it. I was always the one who initiated the communication and provided additional information whether he inquired or otherwise. He told me the mounting of the cabinet and sound bar installation were outside the scope of the original project. To a layperson, this is ridiculous. I just want my stuff mounted and «set up». I only took additional pictures to give him a better idea. And ironically, I only did this because I read some of his reviews here which hinted he had to do a lot of work that was outside of scope for free and I didn’t want to do that to him. Serves me right eh.
And his excuse of too much work I completely do not accept. This is not my first home theater rodeo. These TVs of mine are not new nor is the sound bar: they came from my previous house. I just couldn’t exactly bring the in-​ceiling speakers with me. Take a look, I’m renting the place out now and you can see the in-​ceiling speakers with receiver:

And the home theater guy there did the exact same work in one day and charged me $ 800 – including all the work that Marcelo told me was extra. That’s how I know to request for an additional power outlet, because that is what my prior home theater guy had recommended. I wish I hadn’t lost his number…
So, was it so unusual and unreasonable to assume the Five-​Star reviewed Marcelo to be able to accomplish the same amount of work in the same amount of time? Note, that I wrote «assume» and not «expect».
Because most importantly, Marcelo did NOT ask for more money, more time, nor to reschedule. I was willing to pay. I was willing to reschedule. He just didn’t want to do it.
I guess you better give Marcelo a crystal clear break down of every little work item if you are fortunate enough to retain his services. Otherwise, you’ll wait a week, purchase all the parts, and be left hanging.
I am extremely frustrated for the time wasted. I was very much looking forward to completing my new home and eager for the finished product.
If you have a home job I suggest you go elsewhere. I’ve seen this pattern a few times on Unilocal.They start out small and gain traction. Now they are too big for you.
Find someone who is more hungry for your business. Marcelo is on Cloud 9 with his big jobs.

Marcelo is the man. He and his coworker did a great job for me and my husband and we couldn’t have been happier with their work! His pricing is right in line with the work being done so we never felt we weren’t getting our money’s worth. Came here and made it happen like he said he would. At the end, he even through in a cable splitter at no charge. A good guy!

WOW! This guy is absolutely amazing. At first I was worried about finding someone off Unilocal and letting them into our home, but Marcelo is as honest as it gets. First of all, he and his helper did a truly astounding job putting a 60″ TV on our wall and not a single cord shows. He and his helper were able to hide all the cords behind the wall. Second, Marcelo stuck to the price he mentioned on the phone, which was insanely cheaper than what Best Buy quoted me. He even generously plugged all our devices into the TV, including a sound system, without asking for more money.
I truly cannot wait to give Marcelo more work to do around our house as the service he provided was insanely top notch, professional, and I never doubted him once the whole time I watched as he installed the TV. If you are looking for someone you can trust, for the right price, who knows what they are doing, seriously look no further.

This guy is really good. He showed up on time, presented his card, gave a fair assessment and stuck to his pricing that he mentioned on the phone. I’ll refer him to my friends and family.

I really enjoyed meeting Marcelo. He came over for free and told me the best option which ended up saving me money. He was very prompt and super friend.
So why the «A-​OK» review? I referred him to a friend who called him twice and Marcelo never got back to him. My friend now thinks my referrals are bogus. Too bad for Marcelo, cuz my friend lives in an architectural dream home up in the hills which will be showcased in architecture tours for the next century. That’s a lotta good business going «a buy buy.»

Marcelo was awesome. I found him on Unilocal and the reviews are correct. His estimate was accurate, he was on time and he installed a big TV with a moving mount and a smaller TV on a tilting mount very quickly and the results are beautiful. He had all of the cables and brackets I needed and he gave me great prices on them (probably close to cost). I would definitely hire him again.

Simply professional, courteous, and reasonable. After having beautifully mounted my TV on the wall and installing the sound bar, he was unhappy with how it looked and he redid the job so that it was perfect. No extra charge. Highly recommend him.

Marcelo just finished a great job at our new office suite. The work wasn’t easy… had to drop quite a few CAT6 ethernet lines. He was attentive and was very concerned about network speed and quality. He kept his work area clean and the wiring even cleaner. Very professional and I hope to work with home again when I require networking services. A+++

Our neighbors referred Marcelo to us, and we are thrilled we had him come to do the work of mounting our tv.
He’s dependable, clean, courteous, efficient, and punctual.
I love when I can deal with one person, as opposed to a company and their guidelines.
No heeming and hawing, just matter-​of-​fact doing the job and all that it entails;
— he unscrewed and took apart the old very heavy pull-​out arm mount attached to the tv
— then mounted with a new flush one on the wall
— hid the wires/​cables
— made an electrical outlet appear where we did not have one (on the other side of the wall in the closest where we wanted the box to be hidden).
He arrived, we discussed what we wanted aesthetically, and it did not phase him — he was prepared for any scenario.
It’s been a couple weeks since he came and did the work, and we are really happy that there is a Marcelo we can call and happily refer!

He is the epitome of professionalism. He was patient and courteous from initial phone contact to job completion, not to mention puntual! In this day and age, how many contractors actually show up on time to do what they say they will do? Kudos to Marcello for setting up our building’s wifi networking system. We will also be using his services in the future to maintain our security cameras.
Professional, prompt, and punctual! A rare combination, indeed! I wholeheartedly recommend his services without reservation.

Marcello was GREAT. Prior to the appointment, he always answered the phone and was patient answering my questions. He showed up on-​time and was both personable and professional.
The job was to install a 65″ flat panel TV and sound bar above a fireplace, run electrical and a long cable run via the attic then down and across the basement. Not a super easy job but Marcello didn’t bat an eye and just went to work. His installation and patch-​work where he had to drill into the wall is better than I could have imagined. And, he even insisted I let him re-​touch the paint with original paint I had in the garage — despite my mentioning that I could do that part.
And, when DirecTV came to install their portion Marcello went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me out!
It’s been a few months already since the work was done — and I couldn’t be happier with Marcello’s work. I would hire him again in an instant!

I found him on Unilocal,and it was a shot in the dark (as he didn’t have too many reviews yet). He came on a Saturday and had my flat screen hung within the hour. This included hiding all of the wires behind the wall.
And the price? Very competitive. I doubt you’ll find anything less expensive, and you’re getting a fabulous service.
