Dr. David Ghozland is a second generation Ob/​Gyn who brings a tremendous amount of compassion and dedication to everything and everyone he treats. He attend the University of Southern California, where he graduated with a BS in biology and a minor in French literature. After that, Dr. Ghozland graduated; in the top 10% of his medical school class and went on to receive a degree from New York Medical College. He completed his residency in Ob/​Gyn from St. Vincent’s Medical Center in New York. During his residency period, he received the resident of the year award for two consecutive years and was awarded the Augustin Ravelo MD Award of Excellence and Compassion in medicine.

He is Board-​certified and associated with 3 prestigious hospitals (Cedars-​Sinai Medical Center, St. John’s Medical Center and UCLA).

I am so happy that Dr. Ghozland was my OBGYN and delivered our baby. He has visits the entire pregnancy every three weeks with an ultrasound every time (and more often at the end) and they use the most up to date tests and technology (they did a blood test that determines the sex of the baby, among other things, at 11 weeks). His staff is super friendly and helpful. I had a difficult third trimester of my pregnancy with a lot of preterm labor and multiple hospitalizations and Dr. Ghozland really did a great job taking care of me and the baby and our baby thankfully did not arrive until I reached 39 weeks. He took every concern throughout the pregnancy very seriously and would even come back to the office after deliveries very late in the day to make sure I was ok. All of the labor and delivery nurses agreed when I was delivering at St. John’s that he is one of the doctors they really like working with. I recommend Dr. Ghozland to all of my pregnant friends and am so happy to have found such a wonderful doctor!

Dr. Ghozland has been my OB throughout my first pregnancy. With this being my first baby, Dr. Ghozland has a way of making you feel comfortable to do the scariest thing in a womans life! I believe my pregnancy went so well because of Dr. Ghozland and his staff. I always got an ultrasound at every appointment, I got to find out the sex of the baby at 12 weeks, and my delivery was amazing. He is always on call and that is so important to me. I will have many more kids with Dr. Ghozland and his staff by my side!

I waited to write this review until after the birth of my daughter. I am so blessed to have been in the care of Dr. Ghozland these last 9 months. He is a man of action and he puts your interests first. I had complications during labor and delivery and he knew exactly what to do and went over and beyond what needed to be done. He remained calm and professional and allowed me to be in the driver’s seat while guiding me to safety. When I look back at my first appointment with him I didn’t know what to make of it as he is more of the strong silent type. As I continued to see him during my prenatal appointments I got to see more of his personality and that he really does care for his patients and genuinely loves what he does and is great at it! He’s a second generation OB and delivers 95% of his patient’s babies (he’s on call versus other Dr.‘s who may not actually deliver your baby and allow whoever is on staff at the time you go into labor to deliver). It made a world of difference having a Dr. who was familiar with me and my pregnancy deliver my Baby versus some Dr. I just met for the first time that just so happened to be working the shift I go into labor. I want to recommend him but afraid he’ll get too busy the more the secret gets out. ;) Also, I need to say a HUGE thank you to the ladies working in his office. They are fabulous and have taken very good care of me these last 9 months. If you are lucky enough to have Dr. G as your OB you will be in great hands. Thank you Dr. Ghozland and the women who make his office run smoothly for this amazing experience. I am truly grateful to you all. Last note– if you are a patient of his and he delivers your baby– don’t forget to show your appreciation by getting him a nice gift-​just saying-​he does more than enough to warrant a token of your appreciation! :)

I don’t have enough good things to say about Dr. Ghozland. He is a great doctor, he gave my wife excellent prenatal care, was always available when we had a question, his staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the office is very nice. The delivery went smooth, the nurses at the hospital all knew him very well, and knew his system, so when he arrived everything was set. We will absolutely use him again for any other kids we decide to have, he was awesome.

Dr. Ghozland is the first male OB I have trusted. He has performed multiple procedures for me that have restored my confidence. He is incredibly sensitive, and thoughtful. I feel very fortunate to have worked with, and to have such a wonderful OB/​GYN taking care of me.

Great office, great staff and very nice, gentle, and knowledgable doctor. I’m pregnant with my second baby and happy to go through this journey with the amazing Dr. Ghozland. He was really great during my first pregnancy. I love the fact that he does an ultrasound at each visit and you get to see your baby growing. He always spends a great amount of time with us and answers all my questions. I’ve been seeing him for many years and will continue seeing him.

I was lucky to have Dr. Ghozland deliver my baby, especially considering the type of insurance I have. Office staff was amazing, I always got calls with my results and reminders for the next appointment. I just had my baby 8 weeks ago and am very great full that Dr. Ghozland was my OB. The labour went well and fast.
It was easy to reach him outside of office hours which I think is very crucial considering the type of doctor he is. He always listened to my concerns and was receptive to questions.
Also, my appointments never took longer than 15 minutes and I never had to spend more than 5 minutes waiting. Love this office and the Doctor!

David Ghozland MD is an amazing OB/​GYN so I would highly recommend him. I had a c-​section delivery with him a week ago and he is exactly what I hoped for. I choose him based on reviews after I got pregnant and I’m glad I did. From the first appointment on I knew he is the right MD.
His staff is great as well. They are all very attentive with all the questions, paperwork, appointments, etc.

I am so appreciative toward Dr. Ghozland and his staff. They are the greatest. They made my visit throughout my pregnancy so special and enjoyable, too the office is beautiful –clean and modern. Dr. Ghozland delivered my first baby and supported me and my delivery plan. I could not have asked for a better team the day of delivery that is why I went to him for baby number two. The best doctor to have with you on that day could not have had a natural delivery twice without his support through pushing. Thank you!

I called the office this morning as my previous gynecologist referred me to him. I was in severe pain but did not let them know just wanted to set an appointment. Dee the wonderful lady on the phone gave me an appointment for 2 days and after she asked what was it for she put me on hold and got me an appointment for today. Going into the office I expected to wait at least an hour as I was squeezed in. 15 minutes is all I waited and everyone was beyond understanding. Dr. Ghozland explained in detailed the procedure that was going to take place (surgery) and what I could expect afterwards. He made me feel comfortable he got to know me and my history. I loved my previous gynecologist but had to switch due to my insurance. I was a little nervous and in pain but he made me feel as if everything was going to be ok. Thank you to everyone at the office.

We went to 3 different doctors for a consultation before we made our choice. This doctor did not appear to be too friendly and courteous so we decided to go with a different doctor .
Both other doctors provided free first consultation. We were never told that this would not be a free consultation. This office billed our insurance company $ 175 under 99 203 code, which is typically billed for «. 30 MINUTES ARE SPENT FACE-​TO-​FACE WITH THE PATIENT AND/​OR FAMILY…» while we only spent 5 – 7 mins of time with the doctor. Is this doctor committing insurance fraud?

Dr. Ghozland is great — would highly recommend him. I’ve had a lot of issues over many years, (and many doctors) and finally found someone who wanted to find a solution for them. Happy to say that things are now going well, and I’m excited to NOT have to see him until my yearly exam. His office staff is fabulous, too!

I searched for years to find a doctor who could provide a solution to painful intercourse. I found what I was looking for when I met Dr. Ghozland. I was immediately impressed with his sensitive and caring manner. I felt comfortable talking to him about such a personal and sensitive topic. He put me at ease and I knew I was in good hands. I had the LAVA procedure done in April. He and his office practice manager, Violetta, answered all my questions along the way. I couldn’t be happier with the end result. Finally, in my late 50’s, I can fully enjoy a close, intimate physical relationship with my partner and have no pain! My only regret is that I endured unnecessary pain for all those years. Now I’m making up for lost time!

We were referred to Dr. Ghozland by another physician who highly recommended him and we couldn’t be more pleased. I recently had a robotic laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy with him and everything from start to finish was very easy. He made me feel very comfortable, I have no scars, recovery was very easy and he was very helpful in answering all of my questions before, during and after. He is professional, knowledgeable, straight to the point and easy going. We are looking forward to having him as my OBGYN when we are ready and I highly recommend him!

When i found out I was pregnant I called his office and was given an appointment for the next day. I had plenty of time early on in my pregnancy to switch doctors but I felt I was in great hands. Dr. Ghozland is a kind and knowledgeable man who really cares about his patients. His office staff and nurse are all very nice. I was seen by him throughout my pregnancy and even though my water broke and I am of ‘advanced age’ he was able to deliver my baby vaginally and made sure throughout the process that I was ok and made me feel very cared for. He has excellent bedside manners and knows what he’s doing. I would recommend him to any woman looking for a doctor.

Today was the second time I’ve seen Dr, David Ghozland
I just had to write a review as he really is a wonderful Dr. He really takes his time and I felt listened to. I believe that is so important in medicine today as it’s such a fast passed field.
His front office staff is also very friendly and professional. They went out of their way to fit me in when I didn’t have an appointment, I really appreciate that!!!
I had the same Dr for many years and drove 45 min each way to see her as I didn’t want to change Dr’s and I’m so pleased that I took a chance and was referred to Dr Ghozland. He’s 10 min from my home and I am so pleased with he and his staff.

Dr. Ghozland is an amazing doctor. And his staff is very kind and caring. After 4 years and 3 difficulty non successful pregnancies he convinced me and my husband to try one more time. I finally got my little miracle baby. If it was not for his encouragement I would have never tried again. I have also recommend 2 of my friends and they also had a very positive experience.

Dr. Ghozland is an excellent doctor! I had a very serious surgery in August 2014 and I came through with no complications thanks to him. Dr. Ghozland’s office staff are very organized and professional as well. Very nice office and the wait time is minimal.

Unilocal apparently has a maximum review length so instead of trimming down my letter I wrote to Dr. Ghozland I will post a link to this letter so you may read the full version which states all that has transpired… Before choosing this OB-​GYN I STRONGLY suggest you read this letter, which speaks of my personal experience with Dr. Ghozland. Aside from ignoring the obvious and sending me home with infected stitches (insisting they looked great) multiple issues occurred which were without doubt unacceptable.
