We specialize in Unique Picture Frames, and quality craftsmanship from the Traditional to the Modern. Archival, Rustic, Poster, and Gallery Frames are all in our experience — even Frameless Frames.

We also exhibit fine art and photography in our Blue 7 Gallery. The current exhibit is «Sand in your Pants — the California Beach» — a group show of 32 artists closing Sept. 30.

Portrait photography is a specialty of Fine Art Phographer Lucius Peterson.

Unique, lathe turned writing pens and pencils are the specialty of woodworker Lesley Neal.

Independent curators Joan Breck and Gino Paino offer curatorial and artistic advice to artists interested in putting their work into the marketplace.

History

Established in 1989.

Randy Balll started Artistic Picture Frames in 1992. A second generation woodworker, Randy has framed pictures since 1963. He is also a photographer and manages Blue 7 Art Gallery (named after the Santa Monica Blue 7 Bus) since 2005 showing work by local and regional artists, photographers, and sculptors.
