T Heritage Art Gallery and Frame Shop

Woke up late on a rainy day and it just hit me that I must get this stuff framed TODAY! Had looked up on Unilocal and found Tim’s store/​gallery. Drove there and met him. Location is easy to find on Pico across the street from Trader Joe’s. Parking was not a problem all 4 times I went there. Tim is everything all the other Unilocalers said (patient, funny, kind, helpful, patient!). Tim did an awesome job on my print. His suggestion to add a second color matting elevated the print! I am picky! We measured and remeasured to make sure the final size print would fit well in the location. It looks beautiful! I will ONLY take my stuff to Tim from now on. He is the right kind of neighborhood business that should supported! Tim is also personally a very nice guy. Price was fair and the quality of the job he did for me was worth more than what I paid him. You don’t usually get this… I already referred him to a friend of mine who wants to frame her wedding pictures. I am totally confident she will love his work too! Thanks, Unilocalers!

What a great experience! Tim and his employee picked out so many frames for my large, B/​W photograph, (a reprint from Life Magazine 1951) until we found the one that we thought would be best. I picked up the final product just today, and it is more wonderful than I imagined! Tim framed it himself — a true artisan! Not only am I excited to hang this piece, but to know that his craftsmanship and care are a part of it, brings me even more joy. Thank you, Tim, so very much!!!

Tim is awesome! He was recommended to me by a friend and I’m so thankful that she did. I first took my painting to Aaron brothers to have it stretched back on to a bar and they wanted to charge me a grip of money and they quoted me that it would be done in about 2 ½ weeks. When I went to go pick it up to an a half weeks later it wasn’t done and they couldn’t find it. When they finally found it I decided to take it back unfinished. That’s when I posted on my Facebook if somebody had any suggestions on where I could go. My friend recommended Tim and it was the best thing ever. Not only did he charge me less than what Aaron brothers was going to charge me but he had it done in one week. He called me the day before it was done to let me know that it would be ready the next day. Thank you Tim for your awesome work! Now I can finally hang up my art piece… so excited!

I came in here to buy my first professional frames ever for a set of blueprints of the house I grew up in. Being an interior designer myself, these prints held a great deal of personal significance and sentimental value to me.
Tim & Pancho were extremely helpful in helping me find the perfect frame for my prints (out of what seemed to be 1000’s of choices) after we had decided on a frame and matte boarder, they gave me the estimate and unfortunately it was a bit out of my price range. So instead of telling me to come back when I could afford it, or recommend me to another shop, they took the time to find another frame and matte combination that was near identical to my first choice and that fell into my price range. Did I mention that this all happened at 5:45, just 15min before they closed. They even stayed past closing time to finalize everything for me and only took a small deposit of what was due to get started.
A week later they called and emailed me to let me know my frames were ready, and when I got there I don’t think I honestly could have been happier.
I won’t be going to any other location for any future framing needs as far as I’m concerned because these guys have earned my business for life.

Love this place! Have taken at least 8 paintings and lithos here. Always a fantastic job. If you want a statement frame to enhance the picture, Tim will do something extraordinary. If you just want a simple more traditional frame, Tim will do a first class job. Unlike the chain frame stores, Tim really cares! You will not be disappointed.

I took a signed rock poster to Tim and they did a fantastic job.
He was patient in helping to pick out a frame — which was really easy since he pretty much knew right way what would look good. The work was completed early and was extremely well done. I strongly recommend this company.
For the service and quality of work I felt that I got excellent results for the cost — well worth it. The poster was very valuable to me personally and I didn’t want to worry that the framer would mess it up.

the best framing. the fairest prices. the BEST people.

I was looking for a frame shop to have something special framed for a wedding gift. After researching some places that I have seen around town or have been to many years ago (I don’t get framing done often) I chose to go with T. Heritage. It’s really true as a couple of others have said. This place is a hidden gem and it should not be hidden. I have passed T. Heritage a thousand times never paying attention to what the shop offered.
Walking inside, it’s a feast for the senses. They do a lot there besides framing.
I met Poncho first who then introduced me to Tim. I explained to Tim what I was framing and what it was for and we began trying out different frames and matting. Tim is a absolute pleasure to work with. He listens and is patient with trying out any look. He is also creative if you need help. I went from one style that I thought was locked in and priced to radically changing the overall look and he was cool with it and he remained helpful all through the process. I’d suggest an idea and he’d scour his shop looking for what he thought would work.
I enjoyed working and hanging out with Tim. I wasn’t in a hurry, so a couple of weeks later when I picked up the gift I was really floored! I loved the look that I chose and to see it completed, I was amazed. What a great job he did!
My friends loved the gift and the beautiful framing. My friend’s wife even asked for the shop’s information so she can get additional wedding photos framed with T. Heritage.
I would absolutely give my framing business to T. Heritage when I need any framing done in the future. I highly recommend T. Heritage to anyone who wants beautiful, quality framing done by a great guy.

I needed to get two pieces framed so I took to Unilocal… which led me to T. Heritage Art Gallery and Frame Shop. It’s a cool place to have a quick look around in itself. The owner is a really nice guy and made the process easy. They framed both of my pieces in about a week and they look even better than expected on my walls.
Really happy and highly recommended.

As a New Yorker I love finding + buying works once framed @ Heritage in Santa Monica. By the time they cross my path on the east coast, the aesthetic season has passed on the frame design, color, presentation, etc. but I can count on a well preserved product underneath and at the end of the day, that’s the main purpose of an archival quality frame job… i haven’t Unilocaled in a while, but i felt like i had to give these guys some love after one such special find tonight. Thank you for the foresight to protect the work I have in front of me… I waited 7 years to find this and I gotta say it was worth the wait. + It’s worth giving them your business, and if you’re framing something special, perhaps our paths will cross somewhere down the line :)

I agree that this is a hidden gem.
In addition to traditional frames, there is a fantastic array of unique, custom-​made frames that are works of art in themselves.
This is the only shop where I’ll take my pieces to get framed. Highly recommended.

this place is GREAT. I had a horrible experience at Aaron bros and wanted to find a frame shop close by and we found it on Unilocal.We were thrilled. The service is great. We brought in 4 posters to be framed and they were done on time for a very reasonable price.
Will only take our art/​photos etc here to be framed from now on. Highly recommend it.

This westside frame shop is a hidden gem. After having something framed there a few years ago, we walked in and they remembered us immediately. Their work is top-​notch, better than Aaron Bros, and much higher quality.
The good:
Great prices. Really great attention to detail. Beautiful framing options with a great custom approach to every project.
The bad:
Nothing.

I needed to get some certificates framed and I wandered into here. And it was awesome! Tim took the time to add extra touches to my frames to give them exactly the look I was going for. Also, not expensive at all. I will definitely return here next time I need something framed.

Cool gallery but it’s more than that. They offer custom hand finished frames, custom canvases, custom mirrors, mounting and more. Friend people and I met the owner/artist…very nice dude.
