Ecstatic Awakenings

I first met Alika at a workshop he taught through Yoga Belly. He is very passionate about dynamic movement and teaching anyone how to improve their health by discovering, enjoying and moving the body in ways that promote strength, flexibility and healing. All my life, I could never do a cartwheel– he taught me how in about 2 minutes!
Talking to him, I learned of his other work as a life coach, massage therapist and working with women to recover from sexual trauma and realize their true power, potential, and beauty. I had some particular issues revolving around intimacy that I had been wanting to work through, but honestly, I went to see him because I had another friend in mind who I thought might benefit from his work.
After the first session, I realized there was much I could learn from him and have continued. In the short time Alika and I have worked together, I have benefited much from his support, intuition, and guidance. He creates a space for healing and exploration of self that is safe and supportive, but with appropriate boundaries.
I have started to notice a difference in my relationship with others and with myself. I have started to become much more clear about what I want from my life and I feel so much less fear and so much more confidence, compassion, and love. I cannot express how grateful I am that our paths have crossed and that I have had the opportunity to work with and learn from such a unique, genuine, and generous soul.

I’d been looking for a healer and guide who holds the Divine Masculine in a very sacred way for many years. I must say that when I met Alika in person, after reading about his offerings and seeing some of his videos with Nadine, that his presence is just as honest, pure, and grounded as I’d sensed initially from seeing his photos. He’s an embodied, electric, spiritual man whose groundedness makes the experience of being supported by him even more magical.
Alika created a sacred container of inquiry and support for my personal and life goals and reflected such simple, yet profound truths back to me in our sessions, that I can’t help but thank the Universe for pointing me in the direction of his offerings. As a body worker he is very sensitive to my every need. I found myself consciously allowing myself to practice the lost art of receiving. anybody relate… Ladies?
One of the things I appreciate most about Alika and Ecstatic Awakening’s supportive coaching style in the way boundary setting and honoring both the receiver and healer’s limits is woven into the session. This made for a mutually clear and respectful space to explore the endless healing possibilities. The fact that Alika has a strong history and practice in a variety of spiritual, health and well-​ness paths only adds to the richness of his natural, simple and down to earth wisdom teachings.

I honestly don’t have the words to express how much admiration and love I have for Nadine and Alika. I would like to just say that the experience I had with them was by far, the most healing of any work I’ve done, in my life thus far. I will attempt to explain :)
My husband and I were referred to Ecstatic Awakenings by a good friend. My husband and I have been together for seven years and we have been struggling for the past few, wondering if it was time to separate. We were both lacking clarity and expression and I found myself curious to explore with other people and couldn’t make a decision as to what I really needed. We came to them in an intense moment, and they were very present and available. We scheduled an in-​person session within a week, and they were very accommodating with timing. Nadine was very easy to speak with on the phone, and I instantly felt heard. I felt the same after we met in person. When both my husband and I spoke, I felt like both Nadine and Alika were listening on a very deep level. For me and my husband both, there has been a sense of familiarity with these two. Their ability to build rapport in such a short period of time is rather astounding. I’ve never felt so comfortable, right off the bat! They have this perfect, divine dynamic. Alika is incredibly masculine, grounded and present. Nadine has this nurturing, feminine energy that is so calm, gentle and supportive. They’re both very loving and work together so well.
My husband and I certainly have more work to do with Ecstatic Awakenings, but we’ve dove in pretty deep at this point. We’re feeling more connected and open than ever. We’re communicating in a new way, and reaching new levels of understanding. I could go on and on, but the most important words to convey what we experienced, I already mentioned. It was a profound healing experience and I can only imagine this will continue. Mind you, it’s been less than one month since we initially met in person and we’ve already experienced desirable results.
I highly recommend working with Nadine and Alika if you are struggling with your partner or sexuality, and you are ready to move into a new space of openness and connection. I can’t speak much about their rate/​pricing because I believe this work is invaluable.

Alika teaches yoga at a health club near my home, which is where I first met him. Love his class for movement, strength and balance. He even works in breath, not your traditional Vinyasa practice that everyone associates with a yoga practice.
He also works one-​on-​one for body work and massage. So I scheduled a session to work on my lower back and hip pain. I was a bit worried about massages in general because I’m so ticklish! But it was amazing!!! After an hour working head to toe and working on the problem areas, I felt like I had melted into the table.
Scheduled a second session a couple of weeks ago to work out general tension. We discussed possible causes for the tension and ways I might consider resolving them. He was very attentive and respectful of my needs and I felt completely at ease with his presence and his approach. He followed up with a full body massage and again, a complete melt, mind and body. Wished I had scheduled this session in my home so I could curl myself down for a nap.
It’s refreshing to find someone who offers authentic compassion and well-​being while respecting boundaries.

I give my highest recommendation for Alika. I went to see him based on a friend’s suggestion without any particularly clear idea of what I wanted to work on. With his help we identified some issues and I had two powerful sessions. He has enormous integrity and skill and a true love for his work with his head and his heart in the right place. I believe what he offers is very important to women and by extension to men as well. This is a person who is 110% trustworthy and honorable and the first place to go if you are considering doing this kind of work.

I have had the blessing of working with Alika for several years now and his wisdom and openness with his approach to teaching and insight has helped me beyond words to accept myself and embrace my loving nature and sexuality with fulfillment, maturity and happiness. Finding Ecstatic Awakenings has totally changed my life. Before working with Alika, I was extremely disconnected from my sexuality. I had gotten to a horrible place with it and didn’t see a way out. Alika has helped me work through so many blockages and discover aspects of myself that I didn’t know existed (or thought had simply died). He is incredibly solid, supportive, and loving. He is excellent at working with you to gauge exactly what you are needing. Now that it has been about six months, I am at a completely new and exciting place with my sexuality. İ used to take classes from Alika and it was amazing experience. İ learned how to accept pleasure from the life. We had very interesting conversations which helped me a lot to discover my inner desire or world. Thx Alika for everything that you add my life.

I heard about Alika from a friend that described him as a sex therapist who helped women with trauma enjoy sex and have orgasms. My first thought was, «What, that exists?» Then she told me he had been on a Naked dating reality TV show. again, «What, that also exists?» I checked out his site and thought, good looking guy probably a total flirt, living every teenage boys dream… but still I have to admit, I was curious.
Though Alika has his practice in Santa Cruz he teaches yoga in Mountain View, which was super convenient for me coming from Los Altos. So I took his class and I’m glad I did because he was nothing like I imagined. Not only was his yoga an excellent mix of strength and stretch but his energy radiated with the warm aloha vibe that islanders seem to have. His touch was relaxing and gentle and not at all sexual. I brought a friend to his other yoga class in Palo Alto and she too saw him as a warm knowledgeable person. Alika was also really generous with his time, answering questions without any rush.
I fortunately don’t have the problems that Alika’s clients do but I have had my share of traumatic experiences and do have friends with different variations of sexual trauma/​disfunction. This is such an intensely personal and sensitive area but hearing the story of how Alika came into this work from being a massage therapist whom women reported having healing experiences from his touch, I can see how natural this path is for him and would definitely recommend him.
